@@johnjosephbisquera112 i still like 2016 more cause the way SKT defend their trophy is a hard journey Defeat RNG with their hyper carry Uzi in quater final Defeat 3-2 in a close back and forth series against ROX in the semi finals And defeat SSG 3-2 in what have been the most intense world finals so far. Thats what you call a champion, define all odds and defend their trophy

Breins EDG was expected before, but after groups FNC were looking so much better, EDG was all over the place in the meta

FNC TeamSoloFeeder they weren’t. yea they where good and had a hell of a season but they weren’t at fnatic’s level. that fnatic roster was top3world

it makes me so sad that a jungler like reignover is on tL... he deserves so much better

Not sure what you mean, this FNC even without rekkles took SKT to 5 games, and made it to semis beating EDG, IG, and AHQ in the process...This was only their first full split together than they did that much, image them with a full season? They could have done some damage.

We never had another western team even close to this squad. They were so close to kick out SKT T1 that year. 2:3 series and they even threw one game. All the credit to huni, reignover, febiven and rekkles that season, but even korean star players admitted yellowstars shotcalling was maybe the best the world has ever seen that year. Still no western organisation will reach fnatic the next few years

@@KingofSchubi As someone who started cheering for Fnatic in season 2, I have to say yellowstar was a beast at the time. Definitely my favorite player. But even though I don't play league no more, I'm still follwing Fnatic and I have to say Hyli is a god. You can't compare season 2 and season 11 obviously, so it's really hard to say, but Hyli has been a beast ever since he stared on UOL. Yellowstar was getting worse in the end(or it was just the meta, I can't recall what was op 6 years ago). And now Upset truly filled Rekkles's shoes as the best adc.

Was so dumb to see them part way in 2016, especially when you see what happened after, would have love to see this team perform at least 1 or 2 more years, 2016 was a pretty weak year actually, they could have definitely get some great results there

Probably the closest eu has ever gotten to win worlds. Im not saying they were better than the korean teams, but I'd say there was some potential

RR 2017 and IEM Katowice 15 or 16 was the only time NA came out on top, if I'm not mistaken. Every other tournament EU was better, even won 1 World championship. But in the end it's only a fight for the bronze medal, bc KR and China > West

Ammar lol they didnt suck in an international lvl.This team went to semi finals together with origen.Those were the best west teams ever to compete.Origen being the only team in that tournament who had a gold lead in 2 games against skt, and the only team to take tier 2 tower off of them.And lets not forget fnc sweeping edg 3-0 even tho they were expected to be in the finals or even win the worlds
