Bots on the internet are in issue on basically every website where you can engage with others. Too much money to be made by the ones running the bots.

Don't know what the reason for the paycuts was but that was a serious dick move regardless.. like your players grinded their asses off to win your team a tournament.. a team no one even acknowledged got to the top and the org said, "lol fuck u who cares".. watching them play was so entertaining, I miss all of them together

Nicole Lapointe Jameson. One person with terrible management skills has managed to screw up EG's league and cs2 team. These guys were burning money especially within cs by signing 15+ players and fielding 3 rosters within NA. So it's unsurprising when actual grassroots success happens they don't have the money to pay the players. Sad thing is Nicole will get another high paying executive job even after pretty much bankrupting a $20 million+ organization

@@Tib1010 that's actually so sad to know.. it's like hiring a team of elites to do their best and then giving them peanuts as salary.. and in this case they didn't even give em peanuts, just a "haha you actually won it all ? Do you think we care ? Money ? Are you kidding ?" and forced almost all the players to leave

I get the paycuts because if you don't have money you don't have money, you can't produce it out of no where, the dick move is to keep them as restricted agents, if you're gonna cut the salary by half atleast let them free, yeah definitely some shady business practice here

The money isnt from you winning the game, but from sponsors. Even if you win, if the company doesnt have a good and stable sponsors or merch, that wont do. Thats why if you win, you need to make the world know that you win and use that fame to attract more sponsors and consumers. The consumers are the people you need to impress, so they would be invested to the players or org. So even if you win a major, if the company isnt using the fame to get more sponsors and consumer, they are just wasting them.

As sad as it is, I think I can understand their situation.. as the channel grows, they have also had to increase their staff, be it the hosts, editors, writers, etc.. and from what I've heard, shorts don't really pay much.. so no other options than having sponsors to help manage their finances
