I’ve known Augusto for several years and own one of his dogs and she is the best dog ever. She came to me to at 9 weeks old and knew several commands from that young age. She has been a blessing to me.

I'm 64 years old and came across Dog Daddyy 2 days ago and have been obsessed watching him work training dogs and their owners. I absolutely love this young man. So patient, calm, knowledgeable and talented! God bless you and what you do! Meeting Augusto is now on my budget list even though I don't have a dog due to me working and don't feel like I have the time a dog needs from me. But this young man is fabulous!! This is the second time I have watched a video getting to know him and I'm impressed with his knowledge and his love for his pack along with his complete honesty!

DD assess each dog and works with the dogs and more importantly spends a lot of time working with the owners. His style of working with the dogs in a calm and comfortable way takes the dogs from stress to relaxation in a non traumatic manner. Happier dogs and owners. Amazing to watch him transform lives in such a positive way.

Great genuine guy. No games. No bullshit. What you see is what you get. Really cares about dogs and saving dogs from misery, anxiety and unnecessary euthanasia. He is also understanding and respectful in his communications with owners and has a clear approach to training them as well. Very hard working. Deserves every accolade. Don't give air time to the petty spiteful haters.

I think a lot of people treat dogs like humans and anthropomorphize dogs. DD teaches how dogs learn through their bodies, their instinct, so differently from humans. He respects them AS dogs.

Excellent comment! P.O. trainers keep harping on follow the Science, but they continue to treat dogs like little children. If you really follow the Science then your communication should be as dogs teach and correct themselves. They do this through leadership, submission, negative reinforcement, physical structure & pressure, and positive acceptance (reward)! Sometimes, I wonder if they even know the word "Anthropamorphism" and what it means?

@@daveskolnick9643amen. The humanising of animals is a foundation of a stressed animal. See them for the animal they are and train the animal you got and not the animal you wish you had from that perspective is always the best approach.

Amen Amen I have said the same thing. Ceaser Milan had haters too. They are jealous of him. I have watched almost all his videos or clips or whatever you call it. He's a great human being and he cares about our fur babies. Nobody wants their fur babies euthanized PERIOD. And the fur babies who are taught to fight like that 1 player have Dog fights. I think God gave DOG DADDY/AUGUSTO this gift. Just like ceaser Milan the dog whisper. I'm bedridden and immobile and your Cheerleader Dog Daddy/Augusto. I'm a 📣 Cheerleader as long as I have social media. Your dogs are awesome. 5 of them not on leashes and following you through crowds of people and not once did they attack or try to attempt to. They sat down and waited for you to give permission to move. God bless you Dog Daddy/Augusto. Don't ever change. You need your own star on Hollywood star of fame in my opinion only. Thank you for giving him another platform to share his knowledge and defend not just himself but his position. The sheer number of dogs saved from euthanasia speaks for itself. I have been a fan since the first videos that I’ve seen of him. I always wish that we could afford his training. My stepmother recently insisted we return my precious 9 year old to the shelter because he started having accidents. I will never heal (I live in CA and they live in NY, I was able to save my other dog who is 11 by driving him across the country but we have 2 cats and our apartment only allows 3 pets.) I really believe DD could have saved my family and I hope that he is able to continue doing what he does to save others

He literally can help change your aggressive dog right in front of you when you have lived with that aggressiveness for sometimes years! @Miracle K9 Training I agree! So many people out there that have dogs don't even have a clue what it takes to get a dog to behave like Dog Daddy dogs are. Do people even realize the time and training that he has taken with each of his dogs to get them to be so well-behaved? The dogs certainly are not born that way. What most people don't want to do is take the time to actually understand a dog and the time time to train a dog. It's consistent training until the dog actually get it, too. People think because their dog did something once or twice that they are a completely trained dog! It doesn't work that way! People shouldn't even have a dog if they don't want to take the time to understand and invest in their dog! I've had many dogs since I was a child and currently have 4 dogs. A male German Shepherd, a female Doberman, a Thai Bangkaew (a rare breed from Thailand that most have never heard of), and a Corgi mix with Australia Shepherd. All my dogs are kennel trained, too. I love my dogs very much! They are my family, but just like children, I don't let them get away with stuff! Also people need to understand the breed of dog they are getting and what they are bred to do. Don't get a dog just because they are cool or cute because they aren't going to be so cute when they are tearing your house up or biting on you!! Basically, people just need to do their homework and take the time to train their dog or consider not getting a dog if you can't or don't want to do that!!

Outstanding! I'd no idea y'all had this great interview. It was so honest and you didn't interrupt just to sensationalize, very nice. We learned so much about what an irrepressible spirit he has, all he's put on the line to be himself and do what means so much to him and those who need his help. And he does listen to feedback, admits he made mistakes. Who hasn't, and that's not a question. Add starting so young, learning a new language and culture, and then another tragically shortened attempt that wasn't meant to be in Mexico, from a farm in Brazil, across the USA east to west via the south no less. Mad respect for the courage to take such risks tho not having kids sure helped. He still had massive obstacles and kept going no matter what. I've gotta watch your channel more.

It's insane how good the dog daddy is! I love this man! He simply figured it out haha! The opposite forces of opinions are strong tho, society as a whole is just soft and they cant get over their heads that You need to be tough for the good of the dogs. The confusion out there is incredible, but reality verifies everyone out there in the field. Dogs show so much about their owners - like everything! haha. My own mother is not into dog daddy as he is too direct, too "aggressive" (in her opinion), she feels bad for the dogs, typical opinion out there. I'm slowly pulling her in tho :D She always told me about Victoria Stilwell as an opposite alternative to dog daddy haha. Cheers everyone!
