Oh snap. immediate turn off when Milan plugged cruel halo collars. Trust, respect, love, electric shock.

They make humane "shock" collars these days that just vibrate instead of an actual shock. They don't work well on bulldogs though, too many skin rolls for them to feel the vibration lol

Cesar Milan is a hack. He has no education in professional dog training, not in dog behavior or psychology. He just was in the right celebrity circles at the right time, and he got famous for it, and was given a show (that didn't help, btw). His methods look innocent on the surface, but they actually just illicit negative behavior... and to a layman, when his training looks like "it's working" -- it's actually just pushing the dog into psychological unresponsiveness. His "pack method" has already been disproven by several studies. If anyone here is interested in dog training for their dog, or someone else's, look up a behavioral trainer, with a professional certification and formal education.
