Never seen this game, I was immediately blown away by how detailed it is. I love how you had to place each component in the airlock control thing. It’s the little things for me in games

I recently installed stationeers, I got to around day 15 and ran out of things to do, I know there is stuff I can do but I don't know where to start, watching your series is really nice to learn what I could do, and being a fellow south african your accent and troubles are very relatable

This is awesome. I've been away from Stationeers for almost a year, so there's a bunch of new stuff that I'm having to learn. I've never done a "No Coal" run and this is going to be an awesome run! Not only thanks for the video, but thanks for the great explanations of everything you're doing and why! It really helps to understand what you're doing and be able to put it into practice in my games.

What mod are you using that lets you specifically select 3x ore yield? I've tried one or two from the steam workshop but they don't seem to be working, and there's a million different ore yield mods with comments saying they also don't work because of game updates.

Ore Yield Presets (Nitrice Update+) steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2822613339 Note that you have to create a custom world for it to work and then select your settings under the mineables tab

Just to clear something up.. Coal is not from Dinosaurs... Coal is from Trees during the Dinosaur era that Fungus had not yet learned to break down. But.. I also don't believe there were trees on Mimas either.. so... the objection still stands, just the context has to change

I’m thinking about buying stationeers, I’m gonna start out on the moon as I think it’s the easiest planet? Anyway I saw you put the arc furnace outside on Mimas but put it inside on Europa. Do you reccomend having it inside or outside on the Moon?

  • @LargelyUnemployed

Hey! Sorry for the late reply, I was moving continents 🤣 I put it outside on Mimus because dealing with the waste heat it produces is a real pain without an atmosphere to dump it into. I put it inside on Europe because I wanted to use that waste heat to warm up the air

How hard do you think it would be to make your green house small compartment grow rooms instead of a large room? I would imagine that a small room would be easier to control.

  • @LargelyUnemployed

It would mostly just involve a lot more piping! You can do it that way, but you'd also need a dedicated airlock for each space to stop the atmospheres mixing, which would take a lot of power.
