Except for when LeChuck burns him in the final confrontation, he still say Yeowch instead of "Papapichu". Must be an oversight.

One of my favourite lines is when Guybrush drinks the concoction again and Griswold says "Oh dear. He's had a sudden and completely unexpected relapse of death!"

I love the dialogue when you fake your death repeatedly. "Rest in peace & all that. Oh, hi Stan."

i remember this part! i was like 11-12 years old; when "the end" came out i just went "WTF! NO!!". for a second i totally believed it was true, i was almost crying. well played, Lucasarts, well played -.-

Yeah fareal. I didn't really care for the new graphics. Ron should of known better. Yes I like monkey Island 1 & 2 I also liked the remakes. Funny But 3 is my favorite but it's without Ron Gilbert an he says, "this isn't the monkey Island that fans wanted."

The best part is when the credits roll and the game shows your "points". Anyone still remembers that part from adventure games ?

Played this soooooo much as a teen!!! Who knew Mixing medicine and booze would be one of the things to kill me me 14 times I've died! Actually medicine and booze together were about 10-11 of those! Don't DO IT!!!! I got lucky!! Its a dumb thing to do!

Yep, it's Kay E Cuter who voices Dockmaster Velsco and also the French Croupiere at Calavera Café.

I was so confused by this part of the game, lol

I'm a bit confused because there were two more sequels, the two prequels got remastered, and yet another game in the series has been announced by Ron Gilbert. For an adventure game franchise it's been very active in the last 20 years. If you're asking why this specific game hasn't been remastered, to put it in a hi-res widescreen with less compressed audio and ported to consoles as well, then yes I do think they've missed a trick there.

@@JPH1138 ive played the originals but I'd love to see all 3 be completely remastered. Its been since i was 12 in 2008 since the last time i played one and the humor in these games completely shaped my childhood haha

When Mort said "can't die in Lucasarts adventure games" Well... he's wrong (sort of) because you can actually die in Maniac Mansion!

And Zak McKraken and The Alien Mindbenders, there are several ways to die including Zak, Melissia and Leslie can all suffocate to death if they don't wear their helmets in space or they run out of oxygen in their suits. And there are deaths in both Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade and Fate of Atlantis.
