I ordered mine a few days ago with the clutch and shifter additionally. Used to have a thrustmaster TX and decided it was time to upgrade. I can’t wait!

Same! I plan to upgrade from my TX to the CSL DD or something else direct drive in a couple of years, but I will keep my TH8A and my TSS Handbrake as long as they last!

I think they just lowed the price by 100 for the bundle.

399 euros for the base one and 479 for one with an upgraded wheel

How do you like the formula wheel I'm looking to get that next I think

I have been thinking about this one or the moza r9 will be mostly drifting and track driving in assetto but i dont know what to chose and if they are compatible with my current thrustmaster pedals

That is supposed to be the beauty of PC market, where if you decide not to feed the closed ecosystems you can get almost all of your gear from a different manufacturer. Therefore get either the R9 or even better the Simagic Alpha Mini and connect (might need a converter) the Thrustmaster pedals over the USB. Sadly with consoles you are very limited tho, so only Thrustmaster, Fanatec and Logitech bundles will work.

I love mine, had it for 9days so far 😅 Started with 2.2 NM to simulate my G920's, even at that low NM I got more info off the road than Logis wheel. ATM I'm at 5NM and my boost kit and Qr1 arrived today =) Tonight is race night all night

I just got mine too, my friend. Your going to love the boost kit. I got about an hour in on the wheel with motorsport and then some gt7. I'm on consoles. Boost kit with load cell. Got Mclaren and wrc rims that can be played on both consoles. Never had such fun. Motorsport has telemetry that shows when the wheels clipping.

@PageCrowes yup, got the clubsport Qr1 on and the boost kit =) As of now, 6.4 NM is my sweet spot for now, I was on FM and AC. Later today, I'm gonna see how ACC runs, lol. I'm gonna give 8NM a shot tonight.

@PageCrowes as of now, out of AcC. My favorite, just 😍😍😍 FM. After I spent time , I adjusted everything one by one in game settings and then two in Fanatec. I notice easy telling detail and super easy to control. rF2. Out of the box, super harsh but detailed af lol Ac. It was good until I decided to follow the fanatec fourm -_- Came out feeling like a theater arcade with a rumble pack -_-

I have one now since they launched, definitely not a monster, if I had the choice I'd spend that but extra for something around 15nm

​@@nikey7988Maybe if you're a pc only gamer. Otherwise Moza isn't even an option lol. From what I've seen they seem pretty solid like fanatec too bad their company limits itself to pc only.

Really? I've been using my dd pro with the 8nm boost on iRacing quite a bit lately and I usually have the ffb strength set super low on most cars since it feels like it just wants to rip the wheel out of my hands. I have never thought it had inadequate power.

@@Nemix648There is no “normal one” lol but if your buying Fanatec then this CSL DD bundle is the cheapest they sell

Have you thought about ordering the redesigned quick release for it to make the wheel connection sturdier?

Some, not all, of fanatec users seem to be snobs about fanatec. Like if you're not using it you must be a poor or a noob. But I think Moza has changed the game. They still have a way to go in the high nm market, but the "beginner" market has been taken over.

I just got an 8nm most games I keep it well above 5 unless im drifting then I turn it down. The 8 IS worth it.

Yeah but mention the price please because has gotten so expensive you could buy a car for a fanatec complete setup

$399usd for a 5nm setup plus a 35$ amazon PSU to unlock 8NM. If that sounds expensive to you, maybe you need another hobby. I can spend twice that on a couple of motorcycle trackdays if I wanna let it rip. Forget about cars.

What's the point in getting anything stronger then this, I had it for half a year now and in any game I barely use 40-50% FFB otherwise I have to go out to the gym to be able to turn the damn wheel.

​@@RlaxoxI can say the same. After my wife and I both injured our hands on day one at max power 8nm. We've since turned it down to 50% and turned down the sensitivity and in-game ffb. Honestly it feels much better. The only time I turn it up is when I play f122. Even then I don't play long at max ffb... This guy is simply unaware. 😂

@@Rlaxox Thats your sweet-spot, many peoples sweetspot is from 8 to 15Nm When i sat on a DD i found my sweetspot to be around 10Nm

@@Rlaxox you probably have high friction or what ever its called on your wheel which makes your wheel feel "heavy", resistant to turn

Tons of people. Accelerator and a loadcell brake are all most need. You can map something else to a clutch in most games.

@@DontListenToMe69 Yep, clutch pedal is a necessity for that stuff! I bought the CSL DD bundle for the combo deal, and listed the 2 pedal CSL setup for sale as I have a set of Thrustmaster TLCM which I like just fine. Hoping to recoup $75 or so Canadian for those.

Have you seen the reviews of fanatec overall they are sooo bad

Yeah, now I just need to sell an organ or two to buy one while I’m downsizing expenses and paying off debts prior to applying to medical school…
