    Hi! Many thanks for the video. You seem to have an old version as the sounds overall got a volume bump in the 1.2 update. It was too quiet overall which is definitely fixed now. Hope you enjoy it otherwise though!

    @@A330Driver yes it does, should say V1.2. it's very recent, since Sunday, and will definitely have a better volume balance :) won't be any need for fsrealistic sounds in that version. Hope you can check it out and you'll enjoy it more.

    That pushback position for gsx is actually realistic. Watch the white lines at schiphol, those are the pushback lines where they will push you to. They are often offset from the taxiway in order to attempt to direct the jetblast away from the stands. Looks like gsx did a pretty good job on it

    Great video once again. GSX actually did the proper pushback. In Amsterdam we use the white pushback limit lines to prevent the jetblast with interfering with aircraft behind. In this case it also creates more clearance between A4E and A4W taxiways

    35:05 Actually something very cool they do on VATSIM: Runway 24 (important departure runway) is closed in reallife for 2 months due to maintenance, and they simulate that on Vatsim too!

    1:00 I can confirm that. I've only been on a CRJ twice (it was a CRJ-700 with Skywest). Both times, the rails were indeed folded down and we boarded with the jetway

    I flew in a CRJ-1000 to Marseille (Hop) a few years ago, it was standing at a jetway gate, but we had to leave the jetway by stairs and board the plane via stairs. It’s interesting it seems to differ, perhaps by airline?

    In the CRJ when entering Flight Level altitudes into the MCDU you can enter "F300", for example, instead of "30000" - Great video as always!

    And when the plane is misbehaving you can enter "FFFFFF" into the MCDU and it will be of absolutely no help but might make you feel better LOL 🙂

    CRJ Great aircraft in FS2020 with manual thrust compared to the high levels of possible automation in Airbus A320. Makes for interesting landings! Thanks for an excellent review and tutorial. Always useful to try and train like a real pilot.

    One of the most underrated aircraft in the sim. It’s so hands on, no Autothrottle, short routes, keeps you fully engaged all the time. No time for sightseeing like in Airbus or Boeing.

    Your suggestion that they could have just said "follow the company cleared to cross 27" doesn't really work on Vatsim when you never know if the pilot in front knows how to taxi around. People get taxi wrong at EHAM all the time 😀 And sorry for being a full on "backseat driver" as a virtual-only pilot, but you could have briefed the likely taxi clearance beforehand in the looong delay before being allowed startup.

    It’s not a study level aircraft, but definitely a fun one to fly. I recommend to watch my review of it as well if you want to learn a bit more of the addon before you want to purchase it.

But I’ve already had it since it’s janky release day when it was unfortunately one of the only decent looking and ground-up airliners for the sim. i honestly forgot I had it but I think i’m gonna give it a shot.     Hey, great video like always! The reason they only used 1 runway is probably because runway 24 (mostly the main take off runway) is closed for maintenance in real life and they simulate this in vatsim. I have to say the atc at schiphol is mostly very good!

    Wirklich? :) Hoffentlich, das war mein erster wirklich schöner und hochwertiger Airliner, und das Cockpit sah nachts beleuchtet so wundervoll aus mit HUD und sogar hinter den Sitzen alle Sicherungen beleuchtet - aber dann kam ein Patch der leider ein paar unangenehme Grafikfehler hinter dem Copilotensitz beim Betankungspanel erzeugt hat, was bis heute leider nicht korrigiert wurde obwohl ich im Aerosoft Forum extra deswegen einen Beitrag erstellt habe. Wann ist das grosse Update für die CRJ Serie ungefähr geplant? Die 700 ist die schönste und eleganteste der Reihe.

    I must say it was pretty funny how you talked about how they should squeeze in departures on different SIDs at Schiphol as tight as possible... only for an aircraft malfunction to make you overshoot the left turn and fly a straight-out departure for a few miles xD

    Nice video, although if I could give a bit of feedback after watching: Given that you made the title of the video that you're showing off the sound pack, I really wish you had turned the game sound up a bit. It was really hard to hear the audio of the plane at all over the ATC and your voice. Watching Boris's own audio demo video gave a much better impression of the sounds and the cabin sounds especially are amazing, which I don't think you even checked out? Although I may have missed that bit.

    I love working with those fast CRJs, combine it with Lufthansa pilots and it's as good as it gets for an ATCO. If there's a RYR estimated at a similar time, CRJ will almost always be number 1 due to the capability to keep higher speed longer

    35:50 100% agree, I really wonder why they have not used more of their airports capacity, would like to hear one of their controllers tell us more about it. Just taking LTFM for an example, in events we do exactly what you just described, 2 minute MDI between evet traffic? No problem, just get none event traffic in-between them to get the flow moving, or even better, just get them on a different runway.

    Real cool video, hope they update this plane, btw the bleed system in rj9 is fully automatic you dont have to change the bleed like u were doing, the manual switching will work if other knob is set to manual, Otherwise with bleeds on apu once u set climb thrust it will transfer to engine bleeds and in landing once you lower the gear it will transfer to apu bleeds from engines. If you wanna see the required rate of descend for each waypoint go to “Direct to” page it is all listed there, ( it will tell you if its aiming for the top of the restriction or the bottom ) hence different FPA danke for videos cheers 🍻

    Thank you for the tipps! Regaring the APU bleed, I followed the instructions from the manual on that one. Is that optional on the real one by any chance? Or are the manuals just outdated or perhabs even wrong?

    @@A330Driver yea most likely outdated, on rj200 the bleeds are different. you have to transfer them yourself same with bleed leak isolation. In rj 9 however its fully automatic, once both engines are on you shut down the apu like in the airbus. Anti ice should also never be on with Apu as the bleed source in rj9 but in rj2 its the opposite lol engines cant do anti icing and pressurization at the same time so bleed on apu if you need anti ice in rj200. Also reversers are usually on during preflight ( thats how we do it maybe airline dependent ) and dc service on overhead should be off. I have learned so much about b737 from your channel its awesome and you are one of the best channel👌🏻.

    @@A330Driver another thing thats worth noticing is that in crjs there are TWO pneumatic xbleeds like you have in the bus. One is for pressurization and another for anti icing. 10th and 14th stage they call em in rj200, so say if you have engine fire on one side you still have wing anti ice to both side cuz you close the 10th iso valve but 14th is open for anti ice always. I think it has to do with crj wings and that they are more susceptible to icing. Cuz during descend tat below 10 engines and wings are always on. Happy landings : )

    I've been on the fence on this addon. I have some friends that fly it real-world in the US and I've wanted to try it in the sim. I guess I've been waiting for the refresh that's been talked about for a while that never comes lol. On an unrelated note, why are aircraft assigned the same squawk code? I'm guessing that's a European thing because I've not seen that here in the US.

    Still like the CRJ❤ Only disadvantage the little displays, very hard to see... We have to keep in mind that this was the first Airliner Addon for MSFS, and I am sure it is still better than many newer Airliner Addons. Nevertheless really appreciate if there is an update availalable soon!

    Oha oha Da traust dich aber was Das Groundhandling Wunder aus der Aerosoft/Scholz Schmiede. Kassiert und an das Produkt können sie sich nicht mehr erinnern. Das Aerosoft/Scholz korp. Paradebeispiel. So schade drum, da es sonst ein so geniales addon ist Aber das steering bei To und Landing lässt mich das Ding echt im Hangar verweilen Das Soundset ist aber der Hammer 👍🏼

    @@A330Driver Hab wirklich ernsthafte Probleme das gute Gerät auf der Bahn zu halten. Soll nicht mit SU15 das Bugradsteering verbessert werden? Das es mehr Grip hat? Evtl hilft das ja wenn AS es einfach nicht hinbekommt

    If you know what to expect with it: Yes. It’s a good plane, perhaps not as well equipped as some of the more recent releases, but I loved it when it came out and still like it to date.

    Apart from the quieter cockpit, the overall function and modeling looked quite good! The beauty of modern aviation sims is getting to experience such planes which most of us won't ever be able to see or fly-in, in the real world! Thanks for the review!

    I find the instruments difficult to read - seems like I have to do a lot of zooming in and out. I’ve talked with a CRJ pilot irl and he agrees. I’ve stopped using it for that reason.

    Controllers (and most people generally) are rigid and authoritarian when they do not understand WHY they are doing what they are doing, or what alternatives exist. It's inexperience and uncertainty masked with over-confidence.
