The CRAZIEST Stanced ZZT Toyota Celica I Have EVER Seen!!!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Look at that butt.... it's just like out there!
And that's no lie, folks. This ZZT Toyota Celica is pretty wide. Most people are not a huge fan of this chassis, but if this thing makes a few rounds in the Insta circuit I think that will all change. I am SOOOOO in love with this car's stance. I'm not exaggerating when I say this is THE craziest stance I have ever seen on one of these models of Celica. Bravo for taking the road less traveled.

    Dayum that Celica looked like a real life car from a video game everything was done right this made me want a Celica and modify it with the same exact mods thanks for giving us the rims offset and the name of the Front lip and the wing if I didn't have 4 cars I would probably get a Celica or an FR-S I used to be only into Honda's till I was financing an 07 Camry it was reliable and didn't need any repairs I ended up totaling it I then bought a 2010 Corolla XRS with a 5 Speed Manual Transmission and so far I had it for 4 months no repairs needed I'm now a Toyota guy

    Gravecb7 Accord when I grew up, my grandparents had a brand new 91 Accord, and then they got a brand new 1998 Camry, and that's what I learned to drive in. Seems we have some things in common! And no problem on the specs. I was wanting to do a video where I could see about sourcing parts and how much we could build it for, if we did the labor ourselves.

    Can't lie, I've watched this video like 5 or 6 times in the past couple months. I've always been intrigued with the 7th gen and have finally purchased one. They remind me of a fighter jet. In my opinion, the Celica would've still been around today had Toyota made an AWD interation of this model. They literally accidentally killed off the Celica by chasing emissions standards, by taking away the Celica's roots (RWD, AWD and turbo). Subcribe to my channel and hit that little BELL if you all wanna see the revival of a true Champion. Many videos coming real soon 👍💯

    Would have to agree. As far as modern iterations go, I'd say the 6th and 7th gen are the best looking. I really watned a ZZT when they came out, because the interior was awesome, and just the styling in general was amazing. But for the money, there were just much more capable cars. I really wish the American market had gotten a GT-4 in the 6th gen. Also strongly feel that an AWD Turbo option would have kept the Celica in the lineup. Then again... they were starting to chase hybrid technology around that time. But that was the beginning of the end of the affordable sports car era in Japan. It's really kept the prices of the 90s and early 00s up over here!

    The early 2000's was not a good time for the 7th gen to come out. IT was a time when Toyota placed more importance on family size cars and trucks because the US market was going that direction. I don't agree with the statement that if the 7th gen was AWD it would still be around today. The fact that the Supra and MR2 production stopped shows that Toyota didn't care for sports cars anymore at the time until recently.

    I love those cars, I don't know why people are not modding them pretty much at all...2ZZ-GE engine is pretty much as good as B16B and built can handle 600HP, if that's not enough, then why not swapping K20 or 3S GTE? people have made those cars RWD with 2JZ, AWD with 3S GTE but still no one seems to see the potential...

  • @eXiteVideoMagazine

    I agree with you on a lot of stuff. People crap on that engine, but Lotus didn't see an issue with it. I've seen a few great cars built locally on this platform. I also recall a really awesome one on an old copy of Best Motoring. They used ti on one of the Touge Challenges. Was an awesome car!

  • @TheRazorJDM

    @TheRazorJDM

    Yeah I agree, but it isn't the only underrated cars, take a look at great Mitsubishi GTO /3000GT it is capable of at least RB26 power outputs, still no one cares, 300ZX is good car too (when running haha). It seems like people care only about cars that are popular thanks to Fast & Furious or some racing league. No one cars otherwise. Same would be with Supra probably if it won't take it's role at F&F. Good example is R34 GT-R it's the most wanted of all Skylines thanks to F&F... Even tho R32 was more popular in races, R34 is still dream for many. Sad, cuz there are really good cars out there that deserve more attention.

  • @eXiteVideoMagazine

    @eXiteVideoMagazine

    I LOOOOOVE the 3000GT. Just the other day there was a MINT GTO in front of me in red. I wanted to take a video, but using the phone is illegal (and unsafe, lol) and we are in the middle of safety campaigns which means the police are hiding EVERYwhere. Looked good, even though it was stock. The first car I ever drove standard in was a 3000GT. It was an NA, but still super nice. I'd love to own one. I still think I like my S13 more for average driving, but the 3000GT would be a great highway car. Which brings me to another point that I noticed from Americans, that I don't think is a problem in Europe and Asia. We have no idea about what a car was designed for. We want EVERYTHING to be pure horsepower numbers. It's why everyone craps on the Miata/Roadster and the BRZ. Not every car is a touge car, and most great touge cars are not the straight line monsters that Americans seem to crave. Of course the BRX/86 doesn't make 300 HP stock. It's an homage to the AE86 and thus is based on balanced handling.... plus at a 25k price point, you are NOT getting 300hp. The Z32 and GTO are not touge cars... they are highway touring cars. People miss the point so much when picking a car. Instead of buying a car that's popular, take time and pick one that fits you. One of the best underrated car I ever owned was a second gen Mazda MX-6 GT with a V6 Manual combo.... the thing was nice. Not an HP monster, but very very nice to drive. I'd love to own another. *steps off of soap box*

    Same mate, 3000GT are sick rides, the 1999 models, with facelifted front are super sexy rides mate! Actually in UK, (so country where young drivers are discriminate and beated to death with insurance prices) you can get 3000GT for fairly cheap... £8000 gets you a nice GTO. It is really good and affordable dream car imo. Yeah there are much more underrated care out there, like Mitsubishi FTO or MX-6. But that's an advantage for us. While every kid dreams of supra, we can get something just as good for less money hah I am going to American Car Meet today, so I can feel more American xD Even tho I'm from Poland.

    Right lmfao oh man!!! But yah here in America no one like or even looks at a Celica of that year or any of that only now the older 80's and 70's are making a way into the tuner spot light. Not to many people even would think a Celica would look like this kinda sad but eh what evers. Lol I'm beat it's almost 1am I just kinda sorta finished my car for wekfest, you got a email I can reach you at and send you a few pics and maybe a video of the show lol

    Definitely different strokes for different folks. Camber slamming cars is kind of a cultural subset in Japan. It comes from the old Zokusha. But even here, it has people that don't like or agree with the style. One guy at the race track once said, the lower the car, the dumber the driver. I'm not overly low, and I'm not excessive on the camber, myself. Not really my personal scene, on a sports car. I guess the main question is, was the car modified safely. If it was, then I guess it's just a style preference. I do miss that tucked mini-truck style, though. But I'm an early 00's fiend.

    I understand how you feel! When I saw the first oni-kyan car, it was an xB with a stupid amount of camber. I remember it looked like an old Hotwheels that got played with too hard. It’s grown on me though. Would I do it? No. But fun to look at for me. I’m glad there is a variety for everyone, though! Thanks for the comment, Patrik!

    @@eXiteVideoMagazine thanks for The reply! Whenever I see these camber things it just ruins it. It might be good looking to some, but practically? Jesus. Its like taking away everything. I mean, is it even driveable?! It just ruins every car. And when all else about this car is soooo beautiful. Ahh man

    The good news is... I don't think too many of those modifications couldn't be undone. Hardest thing to undo would be the rear fenders, and it could still be undone. The question becomes, is it worth it?
