My brothers and I would sing this at the top of our lungs while driving. That was a long time ago, yet a few weeks ago I was doing it all alone just for memory and kicks, and I couldn't stop smiling. I got my kids hooked on the Crannies, too, and when my daughter was about 7 or 8 she kept singing "you're gonna have a hot dog" because she really thought those were the words. Just AWESOME!! Years of memories with this awesome band. Dolores you will be so missed. :(

A Masterpiece! The ending in particular give me goosebumps, after the crescendo with Dolores reaching the maximum intensity, that dreamy fade-out with the simple, beautiful, bittersweet chorus riff, the distant harmony vocal and just two notes of keyboard to reinforce the overall mood...it's pure perfection!
It hurts when a talented beauty like her leave us so soon. The best Irish female singer ever.

Should have been bigger???? They sold 40 million records, they're the second biggest Irish band in music history. They had the number 1 album in Ireland for Everybody Else is Doing so Why Can't We. There second album No Need to Argue, was the number one album in nearly every country in the world, selling 17 million records alone. They took part in Woodstock 94, the Cranberries were one of the few bands to make it big in the 90's outside of the Seattle scene, the Cranberries also lasted a lot longer then most of the major bands that came out in the 90's. I would like to think that the Cranberries did pretty well for themselves.

I wish i can go back in that 90's era and relived all those beautiful memories again. Less technology people enjoying sitting outside in the bright full moonlight and enjoying little moments ❤
With each year that passes, the impossible actually happens. I become an even BIGGER fan of The Cranberries than I already was!!! I was known at school as 'The Cranberry boy' (which I will always treasure) 😃 Of course it is madness & sadness that she's no longer with us, but I have learned to replace that sorrow with total joy & thanks that we were blessed with her amazing talent for all those years (which were my most important as I discovered this great band growing up in the 90's).… and of course not forgetting the boys, Noel, Mike & Fergal. SO MUCH LOVE 🥰 ❤️

Angels are only with us for a short time.
This song is one of their best if not the best in my opinion. Great crescendo. The vocals and the way the song unfolds couldn't have conveyed the feverish tension of my youth better. Too many times it has lifted me up. And in the end, the feeling of unfinished business lingers on...

I remember dedicating this song to my best friend/crush when I was a teenager in 1995 on "Planet Radio" 93.3 in Jacksonville, FL late one night. She actually heard it, too. It took me about four more years to patiently climb out of the friend zone and marry her. Three kids and 22 years of married life later, this song still brings me back to that time. And she's still my best friend.

Lucas Eduardo Gianotti FUZE! then M2 for a very short time! I didn't have cable when this came out, that was a luxery, and they usually would play linger, but I loved when they played this on the radio! My sister is completely deaf, but can feel music through the mastoid bones from the vibrations that sounds make, so I always just told her the lyrics! I have the same hearing loss now, but not completely, so I equilize the sound on my tablet and our headphones are modified as well! So, God works in mysterious and amazing ways through amazing and incredibly courageous and talented people like you and everyone out there that has come up with this technology and takes the time to post these videos and write the lyrics! For people like us, we thought we would never be able to enjoy music again, but here we are! I pray that none of you will ever have to lose a sense, but if you do, never give up! It has it's rewards too, and the God-given gifts and talents given to all of us start truly shining through! So thank you everyone, for letting those gifts out that are far more precious than anything tangible in this world! The greatest ridiculous thought you can have is that God isn't real, doesn't love you, didn't send his son to die for you so that you can have eternal life in heaven with him where there is nothing but happiness! And that is for everyone! All my love in Christ, Koe` @-%--- Acts 2,8:26-end, 1 Corinthians 13, Hebrews 9, Psalms,1,2,3,4 KJV 1611 hear, believe, repent, confess, be babtized for the remission of our sins, live faithfully!
