I’m a law enforcement officer, who trusts in the constitution. I’m currently suspended from work because I refuse to take the COVID19 test. I hear I’m the only one who refused. I will not give myself into a entity that I do not believe in neither a entity that takes away the very thing that makes this country just. I’m searching for a constitutional lawyer to shine light on this demise and show the people that we should fight for our rights.

Nah, it was gone right after the civil war. They have ignored it completely ever since. Just because they pay lip service to it, doesn't mean they care about it. Notice that the only time they ever talk about it is when they're trying to claim it's support when opposing the other party. Otherwise they rarely mention it. And why do we have 5 unelected bureaucrats running the country? That isn't constitutional either, at least not in the original one.

I feel the same way about our Texas governor,abrogating constitutional rights,destroying the economy so his rich friends can profit.But he is being sued by 5 legislators for giving $250 million to Microsoft (Bill Gates) for contact tracing software/infrastucture without legislative consultation/authorization/approval.But to kind of answer your question,a lot of judges,county state and federal,who have constitutional authority ,are scared to act.They've been threatened by deepstate operatives (judges are shot and have their families threatened down here on a regular basis).The inmates are running the asylum,and if WE THE PEOPLE don't demand justice,nothing will change

I can't imagine what the motivation would be--other than keeping people distracted and looking in the wrong direction and less likely to fight back--b/c they think their savior Trump is coming. What a better way to catch people unprepared, but by giving them false hope. I will vote for him unless a better Libertarian candidate materializes miraculously, one with a good chance of winning. But I think he is either less powerful than people give him credit for--or he is part of the problem. Not sure which--but just keeping an open mind.

I’m reading Up from Slavery too which was the latest PragerU Book Club book. You don’t have to pay to go back to school. Find the topics about which you are passionate and read up on them. Oh, I’m looking at the the New Discourse podcast by James Lindsey and Peter Beggossian (or however you spell it).

It was never fiction. The author actually knew some of the worlds elite controllers, and that’s why it’s so accurate.

Intuitively, I knew this before watching. Some people know their God given rights through intuition, while others have to learn by lessons. Sometimes they're hard lessons.

I greatly appreciate the discussion this forum creates and the thoughts it brings out. Especially appreciate Mr. Barnes comments about the effects of closing down the public square as a forum to evaluate information and spread truth. For all the comments made about big tech manipulation I think it is fair to note that youtube's algorithm does recommend Hillsdale and this discussion to me and I am grateful for that. My questions is do these same discussions and information sharing take place among thought leaders and experts who think we should continue with these elevated level of gov't intervention and their logic as to why. I would love to watch and hear their arguments, logic and understand what they are thinking. I know it often feels like the final question/commenter says that people have lost rationality, fear does that, but I don't think that all of the people who disagree with me are irrational. I would generally love to hear what their rational arguments are. Rational being arguments that don't start with emotional pleas like "people are dying" or "we can't afford not to" Anyone with links to videos or articles of this nature please post below.

This same thing happened during the 'civil' war. Many civil rights were suspended, and anyone who disagreed with "honest" abe was thrown in prison. But it was seen as "necessary" for the war effort. Of course it was. Because it set a precedent that has allowed authoritarians to do as they please whenever they can drum up a crisis. If there is any time the constitution should NOT be suspended, it's during a crisis.

Lockdowns and Masks should NEVER have happened. Separating us from our Loved ones should NEVER have happened. Some Loved ones Suffered and Died ALONE. 8 MONTHS of Pain, Suffering and Loss. Who ALLOWED this to happen in America????

Oh my god, I finally found a site where the people speaking make perfect sense

Everyone should be viewing this - it should be going viral (no joke intended)! People need to hear real facts, not irrational hysteria. ---- I just finished watching through the end of this talk....this should be required viewing before watching the next presidential debate. Plenty of Trump haters are smart people but there is no excuse for being ignorant.

I like puns, and you seem to offer a reasonable view. I'm glad I watched this. I agree with the second speaker when he says that we should debate the science. However, I can run a truck through their arguments. Sometimes their arguments were fallacious. Sometimes they were simply not true. Take for example, the science around masks. Fairly strong evidence exists for a) the virus is spread via aerosols and b) masks do mitigate the spread via aerosols. Yes, it is far more effective when worn by infectious people to prevent them spreading it than uninfected people to prevent them catching it. Their argument about masks conflates known shortcomings in preventing a mask wearer from catching the disease with the efficacy of it preventing spread, which is a fallacious argument. It's like arguing that because your defensive team is poor, your offensive team can't score. He also suggests that signaling of the ill is the primary value of masks. It is a valid addition to public health management, but this virus is very different to previous epidemics, where infectious states were primarily when one feels ill. How do you ensure that the infectious people know that they are infectious, so they can use a mask when they are infectious? Particularly given how mild these cases can be? And no super spreading events? There are some well documented super spreading events. And no evidence that lockdowns work? What about Norway, New Zealand, Czech Republic, Estonia, and Australia? The questions he (the second speaker) should be asking, if he has any integrity as a scientist, is "when does a lockdown work?" and "Why did it not work in various circumstances?" Simply stating that "there is no evidence that they work" is flat out wrong. Science, as always, is nuanced. It is not black and white as these speakers seem to want you to believe.

Brendan H You are right about science. What I don’t appreciate is how the tech giants are acting as fact checkers and silencing other opinions. I agree with Alex Berenson about masks. Where is the evidence that they are working vs., perhaps, that the virus is not as contagious as we originally thought? Also, have you seen many studies or information about asymptomatic spreaders? I saw one through the CDC from another country where it was thought to have come from this type of infection because they could not trace back to someone who had symptoms. At this point, I would like to be able to manage my health for myself without government intervention and to allow my kids to continue to go to school without masks but good hygiene.

I think it's important to remember that we all are vulnerable to being manipulated. I know many otherwise intelligent people who've fallen for this hoax. Not sure whether Trump is innocent either. We need to get away from partisan politics. As far as I'm concerned both Dems and Repubs are evil.

@@brendanh8193 you are right that science is more nuanced, and should always be open to debate. And you are right that he was weak on some of the science. However, there is more evidence pointing toward masks harm than there is to it's effectiveness in preventing viral spread--and the fact remains that even if the pcr tests could actually determine when someone is infected and/or ill both accurately, and consistently among the hundreds of manufacturers varied standards--and even if all the covid deaths were in fact due to covid--the fact still remains that relatively few people are dying of COVID compared to their risk of dying from everyday life events from other diseases, to car accidents, etc...it is certainly not the top killer, and although we haven't tracked flu in the same way so difficult to compare-- flu/flu-like illness seasonally is more likely to cause death than a covid diagnosis. So REGARDLESS of the science--there is no emergency, and very specific financial and political interests have used fear and propaganda to further their own ends. One rabbit trail that might point you in one of the many tangled directions--find out exactly who is primary fund source of mainstream media, and what are the sources these media get their information from. Here is something for you to look at too..certainly not the only resource--but it's probably one of the shortest, most comprehensive birds-eye view of both the science and data showing the forced closures are having more widespread negative effects worldwide--other than upon every sector profiting from this fiasco.

Here's a little known fact: Only 3% of the Colonist in America fought with Washington or any other General. 97% of the population did not participate in the war against England. They were in support of England. The revolutionary war was won by only 3% willing to fight for freedom. The war being waged in America is not a Civil War... It is war to save America from Tyrants in control of America. When 3% of the population wakes up, who are willing to fight for our freedom, that will be 9-million pissed off people with guns and ammo and the guts to take back our nation. its a smoke screen, election year stupidity.. that said, grave crimes against humanity have been committed, not to mention what our own citizens have done.. the citizens will pay, and the funders will never be mentioned..

How are we as a country, under the Constitution, going to remediate the overreach of all levels of the government? Does anybody have a plan to file lawsuits do that this debacle never happens again?

Thank you for this. I'm from PA and it's disgusting. I was in the store and heard 2 ladies talking about how after while, "you just get used to wearing the masks". People are afraid to stand up.

Wal-Mart became a "super spreader" when everyone was locked down except to go to Wal-Mart and they closed their doors for half the day. Now you have 2+ times as many people going to Wal-Mart if for nothing more than to get out of the house in half the time we used to be able to, 24 hrs per day. 1 simple reason: People are afraid to unite, because they don't know who to trust. Breaking down trust between people is the 1st step to absolute power. Anyone who tries to buck the lawless authorities will be overpowered by the police, and NO ONE WILL COME and help them. Look at Kyle Rittenhouse rotting in jail now. He was entirely within his rights to shoot those criminals, but he is being held by corrupt police and judges as a criminal. No one stood up for him. Oh, NAGR sent his family a check for 50 gs. How nice - I guess a consolation prize for his parents is all he's going to get. If anyone should be rioting, it should be patriot conservatives, over the EXTREME injustices against them. Look at a Lefty cross-eyed, and they riot. Throw random Right wingers in prison for being within their rights, and you get crickets.

I admit, I was one of those who over-reacted but at the time, Italy was our 'canary in the coalmine' and the information coming in was absolutely horrific. I'm a sheepdog type personality and so my instinct was to get the word out and get people wearing masks. I watched Dr. Chris Martinson(sp?) from Peak prosperity and he was logically advocating for a mask for all policy. Better to be safe than sorry...but now the data shows the rates are within normal or above average flu seasons. It's time to revert our panicked position and quickly.

I was the same way until about 3 weeks into it.....then I started researching and realized that not only does our corrupt govt hate our President but so do most of the world leaders because he withdrew all their free crap. HENCE.......take down the President of the US with a global pandemic and put liberals back in. It makes SO MUCH SENSE.

Honestly the lockdown is the most devastating and deconstructive part to the economy, the society and ppl’s lives as a whole. Just look at what damages the lockdown have caused? Business are closed or eventually bankrupted due to lack of cash flow or customers flow. Ppl are not allowed to do anything they usually do or need to do, you have change your habits and ways of life drastically. Schools closed, kids are force to stay home for too long ultimately lead to learning crisis. For those who need to visit hospitals for medical care may not be able to get their treatments in timely basis. What’s more worst, politicians make everything associated the virus to accuse their opponents for anything including not allow ppl to vote in person but it’s ok to get together for a large crowd to protest for looting, robbery and destruction. This is ridiculous!

Conspiracy theory was a term created by the CIA after JFK assasination because people questioned the narrative they were fed because it didn't add up. Just like Pharma created the term quack for doctors that used wholistic medicine instead of medicines at the turn of the century. It is propaganda period. Look up event 201 on the internet and see the 'conspiracy' by Pharma, tech, media, and CIA who had a convention in October 2019 on a worldwide pandemic of . . . .wait for it . . .coronavirus. They even made commercials and news reports that mirrors the crap we have been spoonfed. It is gross!

Conspiracy is a term coined by the C1A. It was coined to discredit anyone who questions the "official narrative." It is designed to keep us from thinking. It's important that we not fall into the "dumb" trap. The more we dumb down ourselves, the more that global elites take away our freedoms. Follow the $$$. Who is benefitting from this virus? And why? Many things are not as they appear.
