This is literally so beautiful to see it rather than just hear it( on Spotify). Seeing everyone gather around like this.

I watch and listen almost every day either the Bible Study or Steadfast Hope. I so appreciate the faithful teaching of God's Truth. May the Lord continue to bless these studies for His glory and purposes!

I LOVE Dr. Lawson: this is a man who KNOWS his Scripture and hid God and who is CONVICTED--what a VAST difference from the timid, knock-kneed WTS lecturer at the OPC in Crystal Lake, Illinois who would wet his diapers before he would ever risk "offending" anyone and who therefore delivers a plodding, multiple-choice "Bible study" carefully scripted by his inoffensive Timothy Keller study guide. And Dr. Lawson is dead-right about the "young, restless, and Reformed" movement, because the one at the OPC in Crystal Lake. illinois coddled my now-dead friend to hell, and my friend's blood is on his hands.

I get the first comment! Yippee! Early bird gets the worm. I'm thankful for this study on 1 John. The study on Romans was an absolute treasure and a blessing.

Thanks for this great work Kent. Dr Lawson is the best. In saying that your audio guy needs help (that’s all I’ll say about that). This has been problematic from the beginning. Kent will talk on the hand held mic and it’s weak and sometimes not even on. Frustrating! I use these videos in my counseling homework. Thank you again and understand this is not a complaint in a bad spirit. Many Blessings

How do like living in the Philippines? In comparison to postmodern Amerika? Or maybe you would prefer to keep it a secret as I suspect it’s a much better place to be over there!

@@JeanmarieRod I don't know for sure where is much better to live. When it come to postmodernity, all parts of the world is being affected by it in any sense.

44:00 When it is obvious for the "whole world". I would prefer what the Bible says. It is plain and literal. Love Dr Lawson though.

You pointed out early in your video that the greatest proof of salvation is a changed life for Jesus. You excluded from these changes walking an aisle, praying a prayer, being baptized or teaching a Sunday school class as being evidence. Since it seems to be of utmost importance in order to know if I'm saved, can you give me a list of things that, if I do them, I will know I'm saved? Also, how many of those things are required? I'm sure you must have some standard or number but as I have a very limited understanding of your teaching perhaps you could tell me the number so I will be able to determine for myself if I'm close. Also when will I finally know if I've truly been saved? If I won't know until the time of my death, it will be too late. Is there finally a time when I'll know?

All ⛔ SIN is paid for ✝️ 🔨 to wipe it all away. However 🤚 the 😶 individual sinner only has salvation 🎗 as they confess Christ & walk with Him. A false confession will not 🚫 count and Christ can surely read your heart and mind. So, there are two actions being dealt with here. Sin which is dealt with separately and completely. And the sinner who is dealt with separately and completely - either in Heaven or Hell.

Honest question... do I understand you correctly that our destiny of either heaven or hell is at least in part determined by how well we walk with Christ over time? Have I understood you correctly?

40:40 The blood when he was genitally mutilated as a Jew wasn't enough to pay for sin. It wasn't supposed to because, instead, it was a physical symbol of a large nation from the seed of Abraham of his covenant with God. But then, why did God choose something so painful when pain always seems to be used to punish sin, but this isn't sin? Why'd he order to mutilate the image of Himself? It looks more like a symbol of evil. It doesn't look like a sign of obedience, either, when the victim can't choose to do it. That more resembles a sacrifice of the innocent. Some babies die from it so it's also a symbol that leads to death, not just to a large nation. It's such a weird thing God chose. Why'd he pick that when Noah got something as nice as a rainbow?
