True saints don’t run from the truth. We love even the hard sayings & teachings, because our Lord is kind enough to continue to reveal the truth to us in our sanctification. We were once the deceived, but never the defiant. It is God’s grace that he has adopted us into His eternal family of faith and we will live for Him forever more. Great study saints and God bless you all, Dr. Lawson, & his family. ❤🎉

Romans 6:23. The GIFT of God is eternal life, not faith or a reward for good behavior. John 6:47. God cannot lie. First John 1:8. If we say we have no sin, we are DECEIVED and the TRUTH is not in us. First John 5:13. These things have I written unto you that BELIEVE on the name of the Son of God, that ye may KNOW YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. John 6:40.

Thank you for stating it that way, and you are so right. Seemingly, I was nore defiant and hostile to Christianity, as well as any concept of religious or spiritual belief, than almost any science-worshippinganti-theist you could find. I was a pure Sagan disciple. But, I had arduosly studied and attempted to sincerely practice various belief systems that I first thought were sound. Finally, the Lord revealed Himself to me in a way that was only slightly less spectacular than Saul's on the road to Damascus. When the Truth of God and His Amazing Love, Glory, and Might, overwhelmed me, revealing the truth of everything that I had ever said, done, or experienced, there was nothing left, but for me to do but collapse and beg forgiveness and wonder at why He chose me for Redemption. But as you said, I never resisted the Truth and had vowed to accept it if I ever found it. Instead the Truth found me. Sincerity of heart is a Gift, not a result of works, so it is still a Grace, but I think that that is the key. I Thank the Most High God in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

This is the best explanation I've ever heard of this text. Dr Larson you are truly a blessing to the body of Christ. I hope it's okay with you if I utilize some of this teaching. It is good to see the whole council of God applied to scripture. The Bible is its best interpreter

I agree with Mr Lawson that God did not create evil Pharaoh's heart, however I don't agree that to say God hardened it first is to say that he created evil in the heart of Pharaoh. Human responsibility ties in with God's decreeing all things, not in complete distinction to them. Love brother Lawson and found this to be a faithful message. Lord deliver us from blasphemy of the Holy Spirit!

How do you know if God is done with you? I say wrestle with God like Jacob and continue to serve Him and walk with Him as if your reprobate, i think there is scripture for that in the new testament. I dont know if im too far gone or if God gave up on me but please pray for me. Im struggling with blaming and getting mad at God in my mind. Thats the old me. I know its wrong and needs to die. Im trembling with fear but Ive thank God for it bc now i know to never do it and to warn others about it. Ive gain wisdom but i self condemn myself rightly so. It gets discouraging sometimes and oh how i wish i can have a better relationship with God but everything happens for a reason. This truth is awesome bc i know ppl especially Christians and speaking from experience take God for granted and thinking there wont be any consequences... Lack of fear and respect for God. I am speaking about me and now im tormented maybe for the rest of my life but i pray that God will have mercy on me and grant me revelation and restoration. Please please pray for me. Watch your tongue and guard your heart and cleave onto God no matter what. I did not and now im suffering for my foolishness.

First John 2:2. And He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but for the sins of the WHOLE WORLD. John 3:18. John 6:47. John 5:24. John 6:40. John 10:28-29. Hebrews 13:5. Second Corinthians 9:13. Thanks be to God for His UNSPEAKABLE GIFT, ETERNAL LIFE. No one can earn it, and once you have it you cannot lose it.

I believe that a person that God has led to a reprobate mind still has the chance to respond to the free gift of eternal salvation IF they humble themselves before Him, I have seen this. One example is Richard Dawkings right hand man turning to Christ recently, when you hear his testimony, this was a man of reprobate mind.

@@marcusburnettsr8911 sorry I didn’t mean it in a bad way. It’s just that I fell away from a false profession for about 10 years and am trying to find hope and forgiveness. Everything I see about no forgiveness drives me to despair. All the Hebrews warnings. It’s hard to see where the line of forgiveness and where you’ve gone to far to be forgiven is.

Interesting, I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone wrangle Hebrews 6 so destructively in all my life. The simple teaching of this verse is contrary to what Johnny come lately Calvin taught so it’s hard to see the truth of this passage if you taught it only one way for 40 yrs. But I can pray for your conversion on this important doctrine. “And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given to him, wrote unto you; as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; wherein are some things hard to be understood, which the ignorant and unstedfast wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. Ye therefore, beloved, knowing these things beforehand, beware lest, being carried away with the error of the wicked, ye fall from your own stedfastness.” ‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭15‬-‭17‬ ‭ASV‬‬

Colossians 3:5-6. IF we continue in sin God does chasten his children. First Corinthians 5:5 Turn such a one over to Satan to kill the flesh so that his Spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord. Colossians 2:13. We have been forgiven all trespasses. Roman 4:5-8. Romans 3:26-28. First John 1:8. IF we say we have no sin, we are deceived and the TRUTH is not in us. The new birth, Ephesians 1:13-14, did nothing for our first birth. Our new man cannot sin, our old man still does. Romans 7. The new birth did not eradicate our first birth. We have our sinful nature till we die along with our sinless nature from the new birth. That man in First Corinthians 5:5, was a born again believer who was seeping with his fathers wife. He was about to lose his life, and the rewards He could have had in heaven, First Corinthians 3:11-15, but the man was still saved because God cannot lie. John 6:47. John 3:18, and First John 5:13. Believers are no longer condemned, but unbelievers are condemned already because they have not believed on the name of the Son of God. First John 2:2 For He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but for the sins of the WHOLE WORLD. But, John 3:18. First Corinthians 1:21. For after that, by the wisdom of God, the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God, by the foolishness of preaching (First Corinthians 15:1-4) to save them that believe. Romans 6:23 The GIFT of God is eternal life. Not faith, or a reward for good behavior, but a free gift by a one time faith alone in Jesus alone apart from any works.
