Hi and welcome to my channel :) I would start by the alphabet, the pronunciation video 1 and 2 and How to read. For after, if you go on my website under Lessons and PDFs, you can follow the videos and get the PDFs to study. I would recommend to do 1 grammar, 1 vocabulary, and to choose a Thursday video when you feel like learning something lighter. Also there are 10 videos about listening practice which is really good to practice. And you can also get my free Ebook "500 most common French verbs", everything is on my website 🙂 I hope it helps!

Thank you for video. You know, the pronunciation how it has to be and how it is in real quite confusing. What advice can you give for beginners?

The best advice I can give is to practice listening and reading at the same time. I have quite a few videos where you can see the words on the screen and listen to the pronunciation. And one day it will come more naturally 😉

Great lesson! I have a related question though. I came across the following sentence in an article: "il peut ne produire aucune erreur". Is "aucun{e)" a special case? I'm confused because the sentence doesn't seem to follow the rule of negation when two verbs are used. I'd appreciate any feedback. Thank you! Here is the entire phrase for context: "Parfois, l’enfant qui présente une dyslexie peut ne produire aucune erreur de décodage, mais sa lecture est très lente."

It’s just the order that changes, personally I would never phrase it this way while speaking - I would say: ne peut pas produire d’erreur de décodage. But ne … aucune just means none :) I hope it helps :)

I found the sentence to be rather bizarre and I couldn't find an explanation for that odd order of words in any of my grammar books. It sounds like a rare literary sentence construction. This one is an irregular and goes around the whole verb, even if the verb is in 2 words :)

With the ne plus part. If i wanted to say i dont have any more chocolates (left) would i say it the same was as I dont have chocolate anymore? Thanks 😊

You can use the same sentence as "Je n'ai plus de chocolat" but you can also say : "Il ne me reste plus de chocolat" I hope it helps 🙂

I have a doubt you pronounced pas encore as pa encore aren't we going to use the liason here shouldn't we pronounce it as pa zencore pls clear my doubt but you're vids are really helpfull ❤

It's optional so both are correct :)

Please explain why we put ne - personne around "avons vu" but conjugated verb is avons? "Nous n'avons personne vu dehors " would be wrong ?

Because the verb is "Voir" conjugated in passé composé, so the verb is "avons vu", therefore the "ne personne" is going around it 😉

@@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane But If you want to say 'we saw nothing', it would be Nous n'avons rien vu so the 'ne...rien' only goes round the auxiliary (helping) verb not both parts like the example in Deepak's example, ie the part of avoir, so that's different from 'ne...personne'.

Little confusion in ne..personne. Why its not Nous n’avons personne vu dehors. There are 2 verbs,avons & vu,so we must use ne+verb1+personne+ verb2
