How was it unpopular? It peaked within the top 20 in 18 countries, the top 10 in 13 countries, the top 5 in 8 countries including number 2 in the UK. Finally it made it to number one in both Poland and New Zealand, the latter where it remained for four weeks! A highly successful song commercially.

One of my favorites! MJ was not just the best in pop, he also dominated the rock sound so well, and could make his voice fit it perfectly, you NEED to watch him and Slash perform together on stage at the MTV VMAs from 1995, he joins him for Black or White, does an insane guitar solo, even giving him time to change for Bllie Jean, I’ve been suggesting this medley for a while because it is in my opinion one of, if not his best, performance ever, 15 minutes of pure magic that seem more like one of his concerts than an award show, I’d love to see you react to it! I'm a HUGE fan of MJ, and I personally LOVE this rock vibe in some of his songs/performances, like "Dirty Diana" and "Give In To Me". His collaboration with Eddie Van Hallen is one of his BEST songs (and most iconic music videos), called "Beat It" - you guys should definitely react to it, it's a must-see. Also, I believe there are some particular MJ songs that show his grittiness and rawness and in which he expresses so much emotion and energy that you should react to: "Who Is It" (Official Music Video); "Earth Song" (Live in Munich, 1997); and "They Don't Care About Us" (Prison Version). Another, if not the most important aspect of this song was not only the collaboration with Slash, but in particular the work of co-producer Bill Bottrell. With him, Michael recorded a very rocking cover of the Beatles classic "Come Together" in 1988. So if you like the rocking and raw Michael Jackson, then you should definitely listen to Come Together.
