Hahaha, trees have grown out of the middle of the bridge, and there are wild elephants. Chinese people are great at protecting the environment.

Elephants used to appear in central plains of mid China like Henan, but gradually disappeared due to climate factors. In Shang Dynasty, elephants were tamed and trained to form elephant army, a female general named Fuhao had guided elephant army to resist aggression of northern invaders. In the three kingdoms period, elephants still existed in southeast China, Sun Quan gave one giant elephant to Cao Cao as a present which couldn't be seen in Cao's governing region, the story "Cao Chong weighs an elephant" is very famous in Chinese elementary textbook. But now elephants only appear in southern tropical areas.

According to the standards of the new generation, the older generation does indeed have many habits that you may not like, but it's not a big deal. It's fine to just smile and face them, or even get used to them.

Unfortunately not! I don’t think this was during a public holiday but it was a Saturday so… I guess that’s always a bad time to visit places like this 😂 But it was 100% worth it to see the elephants, they’re absolutely fascinating and I was watching them bath for about an hour or two.

That's why I don't like to go out in China during holidays. China is just over populated. Living in China, You'll learn to give up your 'personal space'. I personally support the Chinese 'one-child policy', which has already ended. One should not dislike the crowd while opposing this policy at the same time.
