Insane Crowds To See China's Giant Pandas | Was It Worth It? 🐼
The Good, Bad and Ugly of Chengdu's Over popular Panda Attraction.
I recently spent a full day at the panda conservation center in Chengdu. It was a bit of a challenge with all the crowds and getting bumped by tour groups, but once I got to the panda areas, it was incredible. I saw giant pandas just hanging out, baby pandas messing around with their moms, and some red pandas too. They’re just as cute in person as you’d imagine. Captured all these moments in my latest video. If you’re into pandas or just want to see what the conservation efforts are like, definitely check it out.

While a bit of a struggle to get around the pretty frustrating crowds, I honestly think it was worth it in the end. Pandas are just as adorable as you imagine 😅 Thanks for watching and subscribing!
Ok, now I DEFINITELY want to visit China ❤
In fact, Japanese bamboo comes from China.
The yard where there are so many people, and where there is a queue is probably Villa No. 6 where He Hua and He Ye live. They are the most famous pandas in China now and everyone wants to see them. I think it takes 2 hours to wait in line just to see them for 3 minutes! Thank you for visiting the other pandas ☺

Ah okay! That would make sense but that’s way too long to see a single panda. The rest are just as amazing in my opinion. Especially the ones playing with their children! It was so cool to see how aggressively playful they were 😂
I thoroughly enjoy the videos you create and would love for you to visit again. If your dietary preferences make it inconvenient, you might consider dining at a temple or some vegetarian buffet restaurants, where the cuisine is equally delightful.😃

That’s pretty much how I’ve been surviving 😂 The temple restaurants have been a life saver and usually the food is just awesome! 🤩
Absolutely worth it😄😄😄🐼🐼🐼pandas are so cute~

Awh I’m very happy you enjoy them! After China, I’m hopefully going to take a small trip to Vietnam before heading home (Sweden) as there’s something there I want to try to visit. After that I’m not too sure - I may ask for ideas 😀

There was such a fine line when they were awake and asleep 😂 If you arrive after 10am they’re inside so their pens can get cleaned/new bamboo and then once they come back out they stuff themselves and just sleep and lay around. Which honestly, is still really fun to watch I didn’t get a chance to try hotpot (I don’t eat meat) but I think Chengdu had some of the best food I’ve tried so far in China!

@@ramblingbard

Ah! Im not currently in Chengdu but didn’t try one there BUT I did try a hotpot in Lijiang. It was specifically a mushroom place with more mushrooms than I’ve ever seen on a menu. Honestly though, it’s WAY too much food for one person 😂 but was delicious.
China is not like Japan. I know Japan gets attention, more exposure and a lot of fans. But it’s just insulting to keep saying China is like Japan when some foreigners visit China. I mean we ve been here so long and we influenced the neighborhood countries. We don’t look like others. Thanks.

Sure, that’s true but usually when I say things like that it’s because it reminds me of places I’ve been before. I haven’t kept it in other videos (just because how the editing works) but I’ve mentioned that the forests of China remind me of the ones in Ireland and Sweden too. Nothing bad meant by it, just me trying to normalise a landscape to something familiar!

Japan 🇯🇵 is NOTHING like China🇨🇳 China🇨🇳 much….much MUCH more betta👍👍 Don’t know what’s so special about Japan🇯🇵
I'm a Chinese vegan, no meat, no milk, no egg, no onion, no garlic, no leeks… sometimes even some snacks such as cakes and cookies are unfitted… I seldom eat at restaurants because almost all restaurant dishes contain pungent seasonings made of onion or garlic, I tend to merely eat mantou or corn when outside. I've been quite used to it. 😂Temple food is my favorite especially vegetable dumplings! I love dumplings!

They’re awesome creatures! Really cute and curious 😂
It's crowded because some famous pandas live there. They're even called "real celebs" of the panda world. Douyin is not available international, but if you use Tiktok, people sometimes reup clips of those pandas there. I think the spot where hundreds of people gathering for a foto is where the famous HuaHua and her sister live.
this is nothing, comparing to crowds in holidays, pandemonium !!!
It's a pity that you went to Yunnan Province without go to dali and Erhai Lake, where is the essence of Yunnan.

I think it’s more that the dirt has some minerals that make it more red looking, and considering they’re sitting down a LOT during the day it’s probably just that
