I was a bit worried for a second when he described the brooding, angry, stereotype, but then he started talking.

Tom should read audio books for a living... So happy to see him again as your Dungeon Master.

I think Sullivan playing Gilderoy Lockheart in DnD is potentially my favourite Christmas gift this December

Having played a handful of Kobold characters at my table, I'm happy to see Laurie's character in action.

YES TOM AS A DM! oof! Fantastic characters, i already love them all. But Laurie's character has a special place in my heart

Blair and Sullivan jointly win the award for name that had I just been given a list of character names and asked which person plays which character I would have gotten correct

Tom was the DM of the original 'No Rolls Barred' (now renamed 'City British Wrestling', a World Wide Wrestling campaign over on Parts Funknown that ended up starting NRB the channel), was the narrator/co-Storyteller for all the in-person Blood On the Clocktower episodes, and has also been on a few Board Game Club episodes! He's got a spot in the NRB intro :)

Tom is doing great as a GM, I'm quite on board with this! (Just stumbled across this channel, never seen these people before, but I love the vibe.)

Love how every character is just an exaggerated version of each person on the crew.

As a fan of NRB and a long time D&D player I'm looking forward to seeing more of the series and seeing how this story unfolds

I saw the tavern, I heard the din of a feast, I saw the creepy smile, I saw the shenanigans and the scares…and all just from listening to your words. What a wonderful first episode; I haven’t watched folks play D&D before, but now I am hooked. ❤

The Motorhead quotes are a blessing to this old headbanger. DM did a great job of giving each character showcase time while managing to keep the beast of boredom from slaying the rest of the players. @@leffed2109 you’re totally okay! So CBW is a pro wrestling style rpg that Laurie, Sullivan, and some others played as Tom was also DM for it. It is on a different channel but that’s how I discovered most of the guys from NRB and now Chaotic Neutral.

Came here from the No Rolls Barred channel. This is the first time I've ever seen a D&D tabletop experience and I couldn't be happier than to watch this group of lovely, dedicated people go through the adventure. If all experiences are like this, I might get hooked

Lol, the first thing that popped in to my head upon reading the title was the Motorhead song of the same name, good to see Tom is leaning in to that.

I am indeed here for the Motörhead quotes too. XD. Seriously though, As cool, as it is to see a channel strictly For RPG, I personally love that this channel gives Dm's like Tom and Dom the chance, to truly do the creative voodoo that they do so well. Not to mention, the opening theme for the game is Excellent.

I freaking love y'all, DnD (ttrpgs in general so well done on the new channel), and this is such high quality. I hope all of the video-based actual plays do that cool dice roll animation. Very nice touch. I would do anything for any of these characters. I'd lay waste to the Nine Hells, the Shadowfell, and all of Faerun to keep Itchard alive and happy.

Such a good move letting Tom being DM

This was very very good! There's a lot of dnd content out there, but this stands out as having a lot of potential. Everyone has great chemistry, which makes or breaks these things. Very impressed with Tom's DMing, loved the call of cthulu series but wasnt sure how well the skills he showed there would translate, and he blew my expectations out of the water. All the characters are great so far, but the aspect of random posses of adventurers wandering the area makes it really easy for other NRB cast to drop in and out seamlessly. I'm as excited to see great guest characters as I am to see where the current crew ends up!

A bit of a latecomer; I love the 'show not tell' style of Tom's DMing. Trusting the audience (and players) to catch on while reiterating hints here and there.

I'm less than 2 minutes in and Tom's intro has already given me Blood On The Clocktower vibes, and Laurie is very much living up to the Chaotic in the channel name.

Holly's facial expressions during the intro she's like fully engaged in this! I absolutely love it!! Tom is such an amazing storyteller/narrator Meanwhile, Laurie is just beaming like a proud dad, he's getting to play DnD finally with his GTB crew :) Its not just the game or the characters but its the players that make this video everything. I love seeing the group's emotional reactions to the trials and tribulations that beset their characters whilst on their adventures. Yeeessssss!!!! I am so for this.

Ohh, this aged very, VERY, *VERY* well, didn't it! ;)

I'm watching this now, on a Friday night (or I guess, it's just after midnight on Saturday), and I've got my biweekly D&D session tomorrow. I almost want to demand our DM start every session with a poem and a rock band quote now... I'm sure he'll appreciate that and not be annoyed by the request at all 😅 I'm only 4 minutes into the video, though, so I should stop tying and keep watching! I'm looking forward to this! *EDIT after **48:30* So, uh... when Tom mentioned the pigs were smiling, I was like, "I...don't know if that's cute or creepy?" So I decided to Google Image Search "smiling pigs". DO NOT DO THAT. One or two little piglets are cute, but most... pigs with human-like smiles are uncanny valley *nightmare fuel.* *Shudder*

The graphics are fantastic. 10 out of 10, would look at again

Fantastic job with the first episode guys, really enjoyed all of this. Also, on a personal note, just really happy to see somebody playing a Ranger. I watch a lot of Actual Play series and that class is underrepresented; also my personal favorite. So thanks Tilly.
