Kudos to u Peter.Karen was a once in a lifetime miracle from GOD Never be another herequal.

One of the most beautiful songs ever recorded. Why this was bypassed as a single is a huge mystery to me.

I've never heard this before now. There'll never be another like her, but at least we were blessed to have her while we did. It's too bad she lived in so much pain but was probably happiest when she was using her gift from up above.🎶🙏

Still listening in 2019! Voice of an Angel! No one today can match Karen's voice or beauty and never will.

Karen had the most beautiful voice of our generation. Her music has a way of touching us in a way that is so deep it goes right to your heart. This is one of those songs. If you have ever felt what it is truly like to be in love, this is the musical equivalent.

She sang from the heart. And everybody could love her that way.

The voice of an angel. Unforgettable and beloved Karen Carpenter.

Karen was not a trained vocalist and yet she proved to be a far better vocalist than any artist of this generation ( or any other generation for that matter )

Her high school music teacher said she didn’t need lessons!

My sweet sister sent this video to me a few months ago when I was feeling down. She wrote, "how could anyone mean more to me than you, sissy?" She died a week ago today and the pain is unbearable. I am dedicating this song back to her today. So Teri, this is for you. And I promise that no one will EVER mean more to me than you, my little baby. Your sissy loves you. Teri Anthony March 9, 1962 - May 5, 2016.

No one has even come close...I have heard a few, but there's still just THAT quality that can't be duplicated! What a God-given voice....^i^

s'been 40 years since her untimely passing but the music and the voice is ever so clear, timeless. Truly one of the few things worth remembering.

Loved the Carpenters. Still do. I owned this album and listened to it many times at night in my bedroom as a teen.

This is probably the most underappreciated song ever written!

I COMPLETELLY AGREE ..I had my teenager days hold by Carpenters and it is unforgetable...no words to express how happy i was with their music presence in my life...Thanks KAREN wherever you are...singing in heaven..the right place for you..Thanks to Richard for the great tallent who made Karen's voice reaching the world...I love them!!

Listening to this today, on the occasion of my parents’ 25th wedding anniversary (this was the song playing in their wedding video). It brought back so many fond memories, as well as the loved ones no longer with us. Music truly has the power to capture that special feeling, which I haven’t experienced in a very long time. I remember replaying 1:54 so many times because it played as it showed the part where my mum looked really beautiful in her wedding dress as she walked out of the bridal suite accompanied by my grandma and (late) grandpa. Truly, a beautiful link to the past. 😌

Most of her songs really makes me cry especially all her love songs.

Time flies and what COULD have been had Karen lived!!!!!! WE were all so proud of them in Downey!!!

As I listen to this song, I realize that this is the way I wanted love to feel. Soft and gentle, a giant audio hug. I know by now it is cliche, but it really does invoke the feelings of sitting together with that special someone by the fireplace or walking hand in hand on the beach. Karen was the perfect singer of love songs, I so miss her.
