    Whether we want to admit or not, this team is exactly what their record says they are.

    Why are you all talking about the wild card slots??? Is this what St. louis has become? Oh lets just hope we play good enough we can barely make the playoffs? How about building a team that is a championship team yr in and out. Enough with the just average team! last 4 yrs has been like that.

    Exactly Right!! Cards goal is to get swept out of the wild card playoffs every year. That's a successful season.😮

    It would be more fair to say Jo-Jo has been overworked than to say why was left in to face righty Bregman…Jo-Jo is approaching “Every Day” Eddie territory on usage. The loss of Middleton is a big deal.

    Everyone was on Gorman's butt the first 35+ games of the year and not giving him any sort of meaningful time to adjust to his slow start. Now that he has and has been killing it everyone wants to act like how excited they are to have him....smh Lock the kid up and sign him to a long beneficial contract or trade him to a team that knows his worth so he can be happy and hit 40+ HRs for the next 10+ years.

    I've been or felt like the only cards fan saying you don't trade what you desperately need which is gorman and his LH power. Is he gonna hit .300? Probably not but he's hitting bombs of lefties like last year before marmoron started setting him vs lefties. He's gonna give you 30 HR a year and depending on those getting on in front of him, drive in 80-100+ for a longtime.

    I've been hard as hell on Gorman, but that doesn't mean I hate the kid and don't want him to succeed. I'm a huge Cardinals guy, and yes, last 2 games, he's hot, and I hope he stays that way. I'm a numbers guy and his have not been looking good he needs to be consistent, but in fairness, a lot of players need to be consistent

    Caitlin Clark isnt just get the rookie treatment ... there is a little bit of extra hate behind it ... The reason for that hate is a combination of all the reasons everyone would expect based off the dynamics of the whole situation.

    I think Marmol blew the the game.. I don't want to say bad things about anyone and I don't dislike Marmol but I could see it coming with Jo Jo.. If he would have switched spots with Kittridge and Jo Jo ahhh I think the game was mis managed at the end.. I would have liked to see Kittridge left in longer and Jo Jo should have been taken out earlier...

    I wish once we would lose a game and the answer be “so and so was hitting/pitching really well and I wanted to let him play, which lets us save so-and-so’s arm for tomorrow.” Or “we wanted to give Winn a rest and Crawford was 2 for 2 so we didn’t pitch him.” There is absolutely no coaching/man management happening with the Cards, it’s strictly analytics. They have no idea how to scout, coach, or manage people, let alone talent. They think analytics can do it all for them, they think they found the shortcut…this is a club with a loser mentality.

    This is hilarious it's a lot of Cardinal fans out there that blame the hitting coach for them not being able to hit instead of the players, not understanding that the Cardinals haven't been able to hit in the Last 5 Years not holding the players accountable so now that they're hitting do we owe that to the hitting coach because we damn sure blame him when they didn't hit

  • @Wobu27

    @Wobu27

    Ай бұрын

    What are you even talking about? We have been the hottest hitting team in NL for the last 18 games. No one is blaming the hitting right now or the hitting coach. Its Oli's decisions that's been the issue and when he pulls players out and when he doesn't.

  • @user-rq7ym1jr9z

    @user-rq7ym1jr9z

    Are you sure about that? Cause turning players, successful players who earned their promoti9n into hitters they aren't has been a Cardinals thing since piscotty if not before. It's an organizational and strategical issue and the strategy hires and direction of the team comes from the top. So while coaches change MOron keeps making the hires. Mike Maddux wanted strikeout pitchers, MOron still thinks it's 2011 and Dave Duncan is still here with pitch to contact. Maddux goes back to Texas they get him along with what they already had...Gray etc.....evoldi, degrom and eventually Monty and they win the WS. So yeah it is an organizational problem and nothing us gonna change until mozo is long gone along with his idiot minions. Walker is the best example. Top prospect in baseball kills all pitching inckuding in ST last year. Then the Cardinals while batting him 8th all of the time want him to completely overhaul his swing. Right....because he made it to the bigs in spite of his success and swing.

    @@Wobu27okay follow along genius, when the team wasn't hitting the " fans " blamed the hitting coach BUT the team hasnt been hitting for five years a few of us that pointed out its not the hitting coaches job to hit its his job to chart what's going on and what's they are swinging at, its the players fault they werent hitting, that comment drew a lot of negative feedback, so my question is since fans died on the is the " its hitting coaches fault " does he get the credit for them hitting now ?

    @@user-rq7ym1jr9zmaybe you need to follow along with what I'm saying first in the case of Walker he should have been in Triple-A for a whole season last year like Winn my issue is why are they blaming the hitting coach when this is a player's issue hitting coaches don't swing they chart pitches the comment I made is simple the Cardinals weren't hitting at the front of the year and they blamed it on a hitting coach so now that they are hitting does the hitting coach get credit?
