I recently found out about this brand. Looking forward to adding a Powgoda to my quiver for next season!

great company doing killer things in the Wasatch, caution though when demoing a board....you will fall in love and want the entire lineup!!!! 2nd season on the GOAT, absublute beast of a board. The Crane, Powgoda, Swell are all amazing, and their bases are no joke they glide like butter!

I had the distinct pleasure of riding the carbon Crane for a few days at Copper Mountain a couple years ago. It's been a long time since a twin-ish snowboard reasonated with me at all, but this board absolutely blew me away; fantastic ride in every way imaginable. Really glad to see Cardiff get a larger foothold outside of the states. I think they make great products and it always makes me happy to see their boards on the mountain.

Good to see Cardiff making inroads up here. Bought a Powgoda at end of last season and cant wait to try it. By the way that 3M top sheet really threw me off when I got my board as there were a few bubbles and specs of dust under it. Thought it was delaminating or something but Cardiff said just to peal it off if I wanted. Looking forward to your review hopefully.

I got a Crane last year. I had no idea I was supposed to leave the top protective part on! lol whoops. I didn't realize it was anything special 3M stuff. Board looks great and rides great.

So is that camber more like C3 than anything else? Sounds like a smooth ride.

Really depends on your Zone and Riding type , but overall we would say 158cm for your Dimensions!

Which is better all mountain do everything one board to travel with, this or Jones Flagship. Seems like the Flagship might carve better and better in pow but this is more playful and fun.

Both amazing , and you are correct with the Crane being the Surfier / more playful of the 2 !

so would a 263 cm board on your 28 cm foot be comparable to my 26cm size 8 on a 243? Because that seems really narrow. Theres probably more of a % calculation that needs to be done, but still.

Did this board happen to have the Phantom Glide treatment applied? How does it compare to Capita's Mega Drive base?

This crane didn't have Phantom Glide when we dropped it off. Cardiff bases are so fast when you keep them waxed. They require waxing more frequently for best performance but are the fastest boards I've ridden when waxed up.

Phantom glide isn’t a Cardiff thing. You could get it done on any board.

@@brianp9268 yeah, I get that. But Cardiff offers it before the board leaves the factory. Since the video commented on the impressive glide, I wanted to know if the Phantom was applied or if it was standard issue base treatment.

@@craigwilliams9064 yeah it was just the idea of comparing it to a base from capita that seemed confusing. The structure on the capitas changes things.
