Thanks for watching man!
Pretty good stuff, I would also add some things about the speed, I found the first few times I ended up basically trying to run up and just overall not enjoying it very much. You basically want to be able to talk through the whole way up (zone 2), otherwise you will end up overheating any case. This ties in with your "don't go up straight", you are aiming for 12 degree angle (~20%). Combining that with some aerobic training before the season (recommendation: training for the uphill athlete).

You bet Ryan, thanks for watching!
I haven’t even made the leap… yet… but I really enjoy some in bounds hiking out into good powder. I often think about making the leap and going all in. This gives an everything you need to get started overview. Thanks! 👍

Super informative. Here in Europe the avalanche rucksacks with the airbags are becoming increasingly popular are look to be incredibly effective. I say this as I’ve always been freaked out by avalanches.

Same here. I just picked up an Avy Bag and even though they're heavy, it's definitely worth it.
Getting into it. This is the intel I was looking for.. TX

My issue is I tour with skiers and they love setting the steepest skin track possible 😂 Hardboots to the rescue for side hilling and weight lol

@@ChadLubinski game changer if you are looking for bigger days and booting in the high alpine. I'm on a Phantom Hardware, Key-Disruptive boots (Roxa's) and a Korua Escalator Split +/ Amplid Milligram. After a few runs and some tweaks I don't see too big a difference between my soft boots and hard boots. I prefer them now. Plus you'll be 1 step closer to just becoming a skier 😃

well @@ChadLubinskiwith that being agreed, then the logical progression is to change the thumbnail to the "dolt" throwing his split ski with some large bold text that reads MEHhh. 🙌
