it's great news for the development of cricket towards truly becoming a world sports instead of being limited to a few full time members of the Icc. The richer cricket boards now have to come up and help these people at the grassroot level in countries like brazil to develop a sustainable programme.

ICC should promote T20 World Cup which takes relatively a shorter span of time than that of ODI or Test to promote it world-wide. Number of teams should be increased to almost 30 so that new teams might get a chance to perform with the traditional and great teams. second, club cricket should be organised regularly so that no talented player from a new cricketing nation gets lost. Playing with world class teams as well as players can encourage people of new countries to play cricket.💚 Love from India 🇮🇳

I think it would be imperative for Cricket Brazil to talk to the West Indies cricket board- the Carribean have excellent players, and they can be excellent role models for a young and up-and-coming team... Just a suggestion

If the big three doesn't help smaller teams like these to improve, cricket won't grow beyond 10 teams. Cricket world cup should be played between at least 20 to 30 teams, more teams, more audience, more opportunities. Big three help some of these teams with resources and guidence. some first class teams should play with them. Cricket can be bigger than it already is, instead shrinking it between 5 nations.

1:19 If only other Associate nations could understand this who don't seem to be bothered by their "National" team being full of foreigners. Some even insist it's diversity & some express hope that locals could still be inspired to pick up Cricket through successes of their National team despite being made of foreigners. Everything Matt Featherstone said here is absolutely right, you need Nationals to make Cricket a national sport. 5:28 There needs to be a pressure on the ICC to also expand women's T20 World Cup to 20 teams (or 24 teams). I always thought women's T20WC was more likely to expand than men's, so I was pleasantly surprised when men's T20WC was expanding but disappointed than women's still is around 10-12 teams.
