i can relate to all of these four experiences. do any of you have parents with bpd? i think that certainly not help me, either environmentally or genetically.

None of the people in this episode have parents with a BPD diagnosis, but its totally possible a few of our parents would have qualified!

Thanks for sharing guys. I could really feel some of these things. Some good thoughts about looking at things a different way.

I definitely relate to the “free fall” change of mood as opposed to the rollercoaster metaphor. It’s more like a roller coaster now that I can see there are tracks 😆. I relate to the intensity and the faux pas embarrassment and different ways of going through life. The idea of knowing it’ll be better in a few moments is very relatable to me when I’m upset now. I think a lot of the time it’s easy to think “normal people things” are expressions of a disorder as well. 😄
