The Book of Proverbs • What It Teaches About Being Good at Life

Proverbs is the accumulation of wisdom from generations of godly insightful people. It promotes a life of virtue and “fear of the Lord,” so that you can truly experience the good life. Proverbs is one of the three books that explore these themes of biblical wisdom.

Fearing the Lord is actually part of the everlasting gospel. 6) And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, 7) Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. - Revelation 14:6-7 KJV

These videos are so easy to follow, artistic, and because of the flow, colors, fast paced description it makes it really easy to stay focused. It’s the little things that people don’t realize they do that make a world of a difference for someone with a brain like mine. Thank you for making these. They have helped me to better understand what I’m reading which helps me feel more connected to my faith. What a blessing these have been in my journey 🥰

REPENT. We must obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Christ said, *If ye love me, keep my commandments.* Only they with glorified bodies like our Lord Jesus can be in paradise and the new earth. Isaiah 66:23 proves that all flesh shall worship God from one new moon to another and from one sabbath to another. If you want to enter into life, you must keep the laws. Only they who keep the commandments can eat from the tree of life. Revelation 22:14. Are you willing to be cast into the lake of fire for keeping Christmas, January 1st, Easter and Sunday? The Gentiles kept the law of clean beasts, and were not drunkards, and respected each holy day, new moon and sabbath in Colossians 2:16. REPENT. I agree with you that the KJB is the truth. *Acts 15:21 proves that the Gentiles were to hear the preaching of prophet Moses every sabbath day after conversion. Acts 15 talks about the necessary things Gentiles must do before they are saved. They must abstain from fornication, from idols, from strangled things and from blood. Does that mean they can kill, steal and bear false witness? God forbid. There is one manner of law for the Israelites (Jews included) and strangers (Gentiles included). Every saint must keep the commandments of God (which includes the holy days, new moons, sabbaths, law of clean beasts, staying sober and not getting drunk, etc) and the testimony of Jesus Christ our Lord as written in Revelation 12 and 14.* John 4 proves we can gather in a holy convocation to worship God anywhere but not anytime. Our Lord Jesus told the Samaritan woman the truth in John 4. We pray without ceasing but we must work 6 days a week and rest to worship God on the seventh day sabbath as the God of heaven has blessed, sanctified and hallowed the sabbath day. By going to church every sunday, you are similar to a Muslim who goes to the mosque every friday. If I am legalistic by keeping the laws, statues, judgments and commandments of God that apply today, so be it. You must be antinomian to disobey and forget the fourth commandment that begins with "Remember" and all the other laws which you are not following. Christ Jesus our Lord fulfilled the law and he took away the ordinances (animal sacrifices each time we sinned) that were against us. Have a good remnant of the year.

Proverbs 8:1-4 (KJV) 1 Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice? 2 She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths. 3 She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors. 4 Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice [is] to the sons of man. Proverbs 8:10-12 (KJV) 10 Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold. 11 For wisdom [is] better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it. 12 I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions. Proverbs 8:22-23 (KJV) 22 The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. 23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. Proverbs 8:29-30 (KJV) 29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: 30 Then I was by him, [as] one brought up [with him]: and I was daily [his] delight, rejoicing always before him; Proverbs 8:34-36 (KJV) 34 Blessed [is] the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. 35 For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD. 36 But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death. Do not grieve Her, Deuteronomy 32:11 (KJV) As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings: Luke 13:34 (KJV) O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen [doth gather] her brood under [her] wings, and ye would not! Genesis 1:2 (KJV) And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Moved- flutter ( as a Mother Eagle ) The KJV translates Strongs H7363 in the following manner: shake (1x), move (1x), flutter (1x).

As a Christian my whole life you guys are bringing the Bible in a way that is clear and concise to the modern day reader, yet allows us to understand how all of this….life itself - truly is the most epic thing that has ever happened and is still happening! I feel like so much is lost in the translations to modern day English and it really makes me consider learning Hebrew and Greek to fully understand and grasp the intimations of the texts - the hidden words of you will - behind the literal words. I’m thoroughly grateful for all the ways you guys have helped me get over PTSD about Bible reading. BP is helping me adjust my understanding of who our God is. Especially His Father characteristics and how I am to “garden” my corner of the world. While your teachings are refreshing and deeply insightful, today I just want to express my appreciation for the art team! I’m a hobby artist and when I think of how cleverly you art guys and gals represent concepts that are difficult to represent visually, you knock it out of the park every time. Kudos to you who come up with the concept art ideas, and to you who draw and animate, and to you who get that amazing stuff up on our screens! It can’t be as easy as you make it look! The richness and depth those images bring help me so much.

Just like knowledge, you need to share, not to sell or pay attention. As attention is the most valuable attribute a stranger could give, and when you've done so, you open up and are willing to give what that is meant for you. If so, you still wish to donate some, please be wise to donate to the actual needy people that is down your neigbourhood and kids that dont have proper education and food or animals that do need shelter. By giving back to god is rather the most foolish thing to do than to give to humanity and change someone's life. You could make a difference with your choices, be wise, just like this video states.

@@laavagunasegaran, but that is giving to “God”. What were ancient Yasherel’s sin? Isaiah 1:9-10 (KJV) 9 Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, [and] we should have been like unto Gomorrah. 10 Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah. Isaiah 1:16-18 (KJV) 16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; 17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. 18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

I really love the visual metaphor you guys used when talking about using wisdom for security, showing a young boy holding a basket and an older man picking the fruit for him and placing it in the basket. As a father passes down his wisdom to his patient, obedient child awaiting a lesson. Without saying it you showed a metaphor with at least 2 meanings: our own interpretation of passing down wisdom from parent to child, God passes down His knowledge to us; as any mentor would to his pupil. Personally I feel like we are more than His children but also His students; the more we learn from Him and apply His lessons in our own lives, the closer we get to Him and being with Him. With wisdom passed down in the Scriptures we can grow closer to Him, and in Heaven can stand close to Him.
