Emily Sallow returning again was awesome. She is phenomenal especially with telling the story and giving sage advice to Din Djarin. The flashbacks to Mandalore was a callback to T2: Judgement Day with the destruction.

you really should react to Bruce Lee's Warrior! It's a period kung-fu drama, with the best choreography in any tv series, great acting and well-written characters! It's only 20 episodes currently, but you won't regret it! It's one of my favorite shows of all time!

I love the midlife crisis plot for din djarin of buying a sports car after his kid goes off to college.

It wasn't that hard to rip off some terminator visuals and do an episode of pimp my ride in space.

I think Star Wars should stay doing series for now, it makes the universe grow, and you can tell they're having fun making them, with so many nostalgic things mixed with new things is beautiful 😍

Better representation than in Phantom Menace. If Mando had uttered "Now this is pod racing" I would have lost it. 🤣 But Din Djarin did make a meme, "Wizzurd"!

Grogu even has his own seat in the Naboo fighter as they removed the droid pod! 100% sure we will see him flying with Din again at some point

@@Adamski-xe5su lets see here. it seems like they set up a premise for S3. Din reclaiming mandalorian status, learning to wield the dark saber. we also get to see his new ship for S3. all the type of things you would see in a sneak peak.

Fun fact: the part that the Jawas got for Mando was the same greebly Luke, and Han used in ANH to try and brace the trash compactor.

You can also see the exact same prop leaning against a wall in Mando season 1. I think it's in episode 3 in an alley either just before or just after his meeting with Apollo Creed. It's right around the time his pauldrons magically switch shoulders for one scene.

I have a feeling that the reserved the majority of the show’s budget for the last three episodes. The production quality in this episode outshined the previous 4 episodes.

Pay attention!!! “Mando” has created it’s own “fan-service lane!” We are on edge with every step it takes. Respect ✊🏿

Din has cemented himself as one of the best characters in all of Star Wars. Love it. Seeing him again truly made me smile.

I actually shed a tear when Mando walked through that currain

Theyve stated before that they reuse stock background footage a lot for flying ship scenes. so I wouldnt be surprised if they simply reused the environmental footage from the pod race scene and touched it up and added mando into it.

I'll just say that I don't dislike the show because he 'doesn't go around killing everyone' it's that I loved the character as a child because of how mysterious and cool he was. The veil has been lifted and I just find the subject matter boring now, he talks way too much and takes his helmet off way too much. (I know he's not mandalorian) either way Mando is where my interest lies. But each to their own

When the Armorer told Din what he must do do reclaim himself I said to myself: "Let us go through the Mines of Moria!"

Did you all notice the passage of time during the building of the clone wars ship? Those little creatures in the nest later on are shown living in the ship grown up! Fantastic way to show this ship wasn't built overnight but over weeks. Anybody else notice that?

Also I noticed they are setting up not only Luke Skywalker coming into this show but also Din will become Jedi and mandalorian! This was hinted by the armuorer when she talked about the mandalorian who forged the dark saber while being a Jedi and a mandalorian!

That scene where he’s flying through the canyon is a reference to the phantom menace. That’s where they had the pod races and a part of where they went through.

👍 If you watch closely, you can see the service ramp that Sebulba forced Anakin onto in the Boonta Eve race.

I was so happy to see The Armorer return and to see that Din still follows the Creed. I knew the helmet thing was going to come back on him. I miss his Razor Crest but I'm not going to complain about him zipping around in a Mad Max'd out N-1 for a bit. I can't wait to see what they made for the little guy.

Definitely the best episode of the season so far, the visuals, the opening scene, the fighting. I was so exited during the whole episode.

11:40 That thing ("the cryogenic density combustion booster") Mando is holding is actually the same Han used in Episode IV to keep the trash compactor open ^^ Did anyone catch that?

The easter eggs in this Episode were off the charts.

This first 5 minutes of this was literally a mirror of the first Mando episode and I LOVED it.

I legit didn't expect the epidode to be like this and I'm so happy!! I really like how they expressed how sad and distracted Din is right now, without Grogu.

I like to think the N1 is on tattooine cause it's the ship Obi-Wan took when he took Luke there and began his self exile

One fact: the X-Wing pilot was the stand in actor for Luke Skywalker at the end of season 2. Which kinda gives me a hint of “hey hes here because we’re gonna need him to stand in again next episode when he visits” TOTALLY SEEING LUKE

Just like Ashoka, they wasted no time getting us back with Din and started the episode right off with badassery. And all the callbacks this episode were so much fun

Seeing that prequel ship really brought back the nostalgia and kicked me right in the butt. It was beautiful.

Seeing a N-1 with big block blowers made me think somebody better Photoshop Dominic Toretto in the cockpit. You know cause its all about family.

All I gotta say is holy sh*t. This episode was incredible, all of the Easter eggs, the Naboo star fighter, the fact he’s going to visit grogu and maybe even a possible cameo from Luke!!!! Just a holy sh*t episode in general😂‼️

Next episode is Dave Filoni's episode and the last episode he directed was the Ashoka episode in Mando season 2. So fingers crossed for Cad Bane or Sabine Wren next episode.

Now, with this episode/Chapter, We see why Favreau, Filoni, and Rodriguez referred to TBOBF as The Mandalorian (Season 2.5). Also, We can clearly see why Chapter 6 is Written and Directed by Dave Filoni...LORE GALORE is about to descend upon Us. Thank The Force!!!

This episode was amazing.. the Mandalorian has such a presence it takes the show to movie level every time...I love him so much!!!!

Bruce Lee had a concept called The Warrior which is now on HBO Max and like the titular character from that show Din Djarin is trying to find his place in the galaxy and that's the main focus Jon Faverau is focusing not just for him but for Boba Fett and Fennec Shand. Each of these characters are Warriors in their own right trying to find a purpose, a code to live by.

this episode was insane,literally everything I want from a star wars show!!!

My favorite shout-out was "She may not look like much..." which was a reference to Han Solo's line "she may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts."

I definitely walked away from this episode with the idea that Din is the future whereas Boba is the past. His story is important for this series, but I suspect it's gonna build up to something that just promises one heck of an arc for Mando season 3.

I have a feeling they will take next week to focus on boba rallying his “muscle”, then the week after that, it will start off with Mandalorian showing up, possibly a luke and Grogu scene, but it may be something that just gets mentioned. And in Mandalorian season 3, thats where they will show the scene

This episode just shows how much better and more interesting The Mandalorian is than Boba Fett. Theres a charm the Mandalorian has that Boba Fett is lacking.

This was an amazing episode, Especially that title remix with the mandalorian theme, that flashback scene and BD-1? From Fallen Order(I thought Cal Kestis was gonna show up for a second lol)

Boba Fett is like that crush you've had for years, until you get into a relationship with that crush and realise he's not the guy you thought he was. Only for you to realise that it was your other best friend, Mando, who was your true love all along.

I'm literally praying during the episode to keep it about mando. I can't watch that week ass godfather imitating boba Fett anymore. They need to do some miracles in next two episodes to make him atleast seem like a credible threat.

I finally had my video-worthy nerd moment: I recognized the ship underneath the tarp and was fist-punching the air even prior to the reveal. Love the Naboo Starfighter. Kinda hope they chrome it out - with Beskar!

if you had enough beskar to armor a ship with it it would be the most overpowered ship in the galaxy. you wouldn't need shields because the armor is nearly impenetrable. it would also be worth more than an entire planet.

I like the little "Homer Simpson" kid bubble pod the back of the new ship... The mechanic clearly designed it with baby Yoda in mind.

Din Djarin AND the Armorer are back?!?! TOO MUCH AWESOMENESS!!!! I missed them both so damn much. I loved how she managed to tell most of the story of the Darksaber for people that didn’t watch Rebels. It is still surprising that even though he still has a strong attachment to the Children Of The Watch that he didn’t stay with or go back to Bo Katan, especially after he removed his helmet. And as much as I will always miss the Razor Crest this supped up N1 Naboo Starfighter is DEFINITELY a worthy replacement. Also this episode has convinced me that Bryce Dallas Howard needs to be given her own Star Wars movie to direct!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

The fact that the ring in space looks like the freaking ring from Halo is absolutely amazing to see in star wars.

This episode was on the level of Ahsoka Tano’s arrival. 12/10 episode! Bryce D. H did this!!

I personally wondered why they would have a centric Mando episode in a Season that is not his own. Not that I am complaining or anything, is just that I find it very odd. While I wouldn't change anything of the episode, I feel like they could have put in Boba's Perspective on what is happening with Mando. Maybe he argues with his members on bringing in Mando into the team as his muscle. Maybe he could be tracking/spying on Mando's movement by Holographic-shenanigans, and then we end the episode same way. That way it gives us intrigued on what was Mando was doing, which then can be explained with this episode as the first episode of Season 3, syncing both scenes at the same time. Kind of like, How Marvel fans are syncing in Kang's feeling of the multiverse being open, with Wanda's transformation as the scarlet witch, Venom being in the MCU, Spiderman breaking Stephen's Spell, etc. I don't know but that is just my personal opinion...

I would’ve liked to see Boba at least once 😂 considering it’s his show but hey I can’t complaining about a Mando episode

I feel like they planned this show with 7 instead of 6 episodes like a lot of the Marvel Disney+ shows and the Kenobi show (though Mandalorian had 8) so they could take this episode away from Boba's main story to recap where Din has been and set him up to help Boba. This was also kind of a turning point in Boba's story, with the flashbacks all caught up and the main story about to change from him trying to rule to him fighting the Pykes. And I think Mandalorian season 3 will probably be Din trying to restore his Mandalorian status like the Armorer mentioned, so this also sets that up.

Two thoughts, 1. Din is done bounty hunting. His ship is useless for holding captives and when he was injured in the opening fight, it harkened back to Boba telling Fennec he was tired of jobs almost getting their ilk killed. 2. What are the odds there will be a mythosaur in the living springs below the mines of Mandalore when Din goes there prompted by the Armorer? He'll see Boba riding a Rancor and he will have a mythosaur!

1) Wouldn't say he's done, but it does limit the thermal options. He's just needs a little extra head room in the ship. 2) Given the number of references to it on multiple occasions. I'd say good odds.

Seeing Mando test driving the Starfighter on the Pod Racing Track makes me actually want a Pod Racer Series :D

5:33 that shot with the probe droids was one of the coolest shots in this episode, and the probe droids remind of the Tripods from War of the Worlds

I've always loved N1s. The Prequel era has all of my favorite ships, and seeing that beauty fly made my heart happy. Between that, the Darksaber, and BD-1, this episode was a smorgasbord of awesome.

I'm starting to get the feeling that all these Star Wars shows set in the same time are building on one larger story we are yet to see. I think they are Marveling these series to a large event.

I hope by redeeming the Mandalore Din can restore his honor.

My theory so far based on this episode is since the creed was basically his family and home in order to really lure Mando they'd have to revoke him from one home so he can join Boba's

Seeing that he was flying through the pod racing course was such a "DUDE!!" moment for me. so f***ing awesome.

The craziest part of the episode is when the freaking MANDALORIAN, of all people, says "wizard". Who'd have thought they'd reference that, huh?

It is a bit concerning for me that the most interesting episode so far is the one which happens to not feature the series' main protagonist at all, but I hope we get to see more of the Boba Fett we know in the remaining episodes, kind of like the way he was when he first returned in his armor during Mandalorian Season 2. If they do manage to pull off another Luke cameo, I would love for Boba and Luke to cross paths again somehow; it would be really interesting to see Luke interacting with a seemingly more lenient Boba with less aggressive tendencies than in RotJ. This is REALLY far-fetched, but what if Luke took Grogu to the Jedi Temple we saw in that flashback scene from The Last Jedi? And since we're talking Jedi already, what if we see Cal from Fallen Order? It's all probably too much to ask for, but I can always dream. Hopefully these remaining episodes change the course of the show (and Boba's growth) for the better.

The Naboo starship has been my favorite starship since I was a kid (along with Anakin's Jedi starship from Episode 3) - it always bummed me out that it was restricted to Naboo and Episode 1. Jon Favreau just definitively made Din Djarin my favorite Star Wars character by giving him the most unique and badass lightsaber - AND a sleeker version of my favorite starship! This episode was amazing!

dude all the star wars call backs in this episode. first ever live action mandalore, BD-1, the naboo star fighter, mando having to learn with the dark saber just like sabine, mando doing the whole pod race pretty much. I LOVED IT SO MUCH!!!

If mando does go see grogu next episode I think it would really cool if boba went with him so that maybe he could reunite with Luke

I cannot imagine Boba meeting Luke with Din and Grogu in the middle. That is gonna be so awkward.

I hope they rid of that deepfake and bring in Sebastian Stan as Luke when they decide to bring in Luke again.

I am pretty certain that Din will encounter a Mythosaur and tame it by Season 3 as a fulfillment of the long-awaited prophecy. Imagine Din riding the Mythosaur and Boba riding the Rancor side by side on Mandalore

Absolutely loved this episode! Packed with so many prequel easter eggs too which is great!

Love the episode! my only gripe with Mando coming back is that Im worried that he is going to steal the spotlight in Boba's own show. This episode also felt more like and episode out of Mandalorian season 3 than anything else.

This whole episode was a banger. I understand why some people were upset to have no Boba in this ep but at least this way, we won't need a flashback episode in Mando S03! BDH couldn't have made a more beautiful nostalgia trip for us!

It should of been just like how book of boba fett explained how boba found fennec but nope they just didn’t care enough for boba to make a good series

I think why TBoBF isn’t as loved as Mando is, is because of this preconceived idea of what Boba Fett is like. Canonically, Boba Fett was just a bounty hunter who clumsily fell inside the Sarlacc pit when a blind man hit his jet pack. It’s because of the comics and people making up their own headcanon about a character we know very little about apart from his childhood. Everything in legends comic is just whack. Boba Fett can kill like a thousand people while half asleep but when these preconceived expectations aren’t met, they’re disappointed and call it “bad writing” because it’s just a buzzword.

This episode was incredible!!! Also I respect that the thumbnail before was the shot of the curtain, but it's now Mando after more people have seen it, thank you!

I'm guessing next episode, mando won't be in it. Instead it'll be Fennec and Boba going around gathering muscle and Mando won't show up again until episode 7 when the big showdown starts.

Mando’s first minute in this show was more badass than anything Boba has done so far. (But to be fair, Boba had a badass entrance in Mandalorian)

When he was having trouble wielding the Dark Saber, I was like: "Stretch out with your feelings, Mando" 😂😂😂

This episode was absolutely just amazing and I CAN NOT WAIT!! For what they have in store for us next as a die hard Star Wars fan this was some of the best stuff I’ve seen in a Star Wars film/ series ever again just wow.

Great episode. Mandalorian season 3 prologue. You have a dark saber and you use it without training you will cut yourself, I mean if I get a lightsaber and started swinging it I would loose a leg atleast lmao. 10/10 realism.

That single episode is one of the best Star Wars related things ever. Haven’t been that excited and happy watching Star Wars since Mando season 2 the Siege of Mandalore arc
