Thank you, your one of the few commenters that I've seen bring this up. I have believed that the Book of Boba Fett is like 1 season limited mini series. As you say an offshoot of The Mandalorian with no plans other to tell us about how Boba survived and to set up some events for the Mandalorian show. I hope to see Boba as someone that either occasionally returns to the Mandalorian series like a trusted friend when sh*t hits the fan or becomes an integral part of the crew for the show moving forward.

Din Djarin AND the Armorer are back!!!! TOO MUCH AWESOMENESS!!!! I missed them both so damn much. I loved how she managed to tell most of the story of the Darksaber for people that didn’t watch Rebels. It is still surprising that even though he still has a strong attachment to the Children Of The Watch that he didn’t stay with or go back to Bo Katan, especially after he removed his helmet. At that point I would’ve just gone back to Bo Katan. And as much as I will always miss the Razor Crest this supped up N1 Naboo Starfighter is DEFINITELY a worthy replacement. Like losing your SUV in an accident but you get a sweet 66’ corvette, sure there’s only room for 2 but damn does it have speed. Also Lucasfilm better give Bryce Dallas Howard her own Star Wars movie to direct! The super cool nod to Jurassic Park when Peli Motto is attacked by the womprat just made me grin ear to ear.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Lol I love how instead of swaggering up to his clan mates like a boss he limps up and collapses at their feet from a self inflicted injury. There’s something symbolic in that. Din lost everything this episode if you think about it. His clan cast him out and he doesn’t have Grogu anymore. It couldn’t be clearer that he misses him. I bet he’s feeling super lost and a little depressed right now. All he has is a title he didn’t want and probably doesn’t feel he deserves, and a weapon he doesn’t understand and struggles to use. A jedi can help him saber train, but Boba and Fennick might be able to help him find his path again. Or start to help him. Lol I appreciated that LOTR reference. I totally agree. He could use a few days of jedi training. Not in the force obviously, but the mental balance and discipline aspect of it. Also learning to channel his emotions better. The armorer can teach him the forms a bit, but he needs a jedi for the mental aspect. Din doesn’t quite understand that a light saber is much more than a laser sword. And he’s also probably feeling pretty undeserving of it at the moment. But his allies can help him with that.

This episode was basically just an episode of Mando and I don’t even care. I’m so happy and it was so satisfying. This was everything good about Mando s1 and 2 and the prequels and rebels all wrapped up in a glorious bundle. And Grogu next episode!!! Let’s gooo!! I think he’ll only visit then go back to Boba. Din I mean. He won’t bring Grogu into a battle unnecessarily. I think he made him a new ball toy on a chain. Maybe it’ll eventually become part of his light saber. I’d love to see him become a Mandalorion jedi. It was also great to see the armorer and Paaz Viszla again. I didn’t really realize how coltish their covert was until she started explaining about Bokatan and the way. But I also liked learning more about their creed. That their views on attachment were the opposite to the jedi. And that ship building montage was cool if a bit long. Same with the flying sequence. Now this is pod racing! I definitely think him going to Mandalor will be a big arc in s3 as well as him trying to redeem himself while trying to find his own path. He had good reason for taking off his helmet those times. Oh and we can’t forget Mando’s two iconic lines! That made my heart happy. That beginning felt like the pilot. Though he struggled real hard with the dark saber. I loved seeing him train. But he needs a jedi’s help not another Mando’s. Particularly with the mental aspect which is mostly foreign to Din since he’s not force sensitive and never even heard of jedi until pretty recently in the timeline. I can’t wait to see him reunite with Grogu! I hope Luke is ok with it. But there has to be a season 2 now. Not enough time to wrap everything up. But this story needed to be told. No Star Wars show gets me hyped like Mando.

I loved it but I know they wouldn't just show Boba up like that in his own series. I'm holding on to the notion that everything some kind of way connected back or affects Boba. I would love to see Grogu again but I don't think they are going to do it. Not after all that effort to make us feel ok with him giving him to Luke. I'm wondering how Mando got away from Bo Katan without her trying to get that saber from him. The shop lady acted like she didn't send him a message at first. How Fennac know he was there?

You seem to have the "now or never" child mentality going on. She now has a direct providence on the saber. She doesn't need/want to jump head first into a confrontation until she's 100% sure she can win. It would be an angle that no one would have thought of. The Jawas exist on Tatooine in such a way that they are barely noticed unless you have a direct reason to interact with them. The Pykes waking up one morning to a huge attack, then finding that _all_ of their vehicles have been stripped of parts would just be awesome!

I just want to see those smiles on the first minute. I was screaming when I saw him enter and then I wanted to hug the guy, prepare him a tea and give him a blanket XD!

Maybe this happens: when Din goes to see Grogu, he gets trained by Luke Skywalker to use the Dark Sabre. Then he goes to Mandalore and goes in to their Underworld to redeem himself where he discovers the Mythosaur. It would cement his leadership of Mandalore, and he may even ride it alongside Boba Fett on Tatooine who would be riding the Rancor as they war against the Pikes. Just a thought.

I didn’t realize I missed seeing Mando so much until he appeared in this episode. I was so happy to see him again that I didn’t even care if Boba Fett showed up or not and I’ve been really happy with the show so far.
