Nice job! It is a fun coupe! I found a all white from CA w/34k. I wanted to mention. There had to be a reason the engine had a situation at such low miles. I would double check the multi speed cooling fan. I’m a tech and I didn’t realize my fan was not working @45k til my AC was not cooling properly. There were no lights, codes,no safety high side AC shut off…. I seen that my oil temp seemed high. I ended up purchasing a fan for a 3 series that ran the same unit I had to swap the fan housing for the full size cooler. I installed it and ran all speed tests and works like a charm. That saved me over $400 doing it that way. Good luck in your sale, it should move fast.

I was just driving the 2006 650i E64 project car that I'm working on the other night. It's a blast to drive with the V8! I can only imagine how much more fun that V10 would be!

Seeing how much you sold this for makes me cringe. I bought a one owner warm climate car from LA and ended up doing all the rod bearing/line work among thousands of dollars worth of other stuff and paid $26K for it. Granted, I paid for a one owner car and it is in pretty awesome shape, and it has never seen salt! BUT, you just did all of the important stuff and sold it for 2K less! :) Mine had 60K miles on it. Wish I found you sooner! Thank you for all your videos!!!!! I'm sure I will be back as my technical resource!

BMW dealers told me today that they are not selling anymore N63 engine are all on hold, after they said they have 30 in there warehouse crazy

Hey there Nathan, just got question. So basically, I found one e60 m5 and i know the owner very well, he is a good friend of ours.. and he took care of the car very well. The car just went 96,000 KM, he is been using 10W-60 Oil always for his car, let’s the car be warmed up every time he starts it and so on. I wanna pick the car, it’s just I’m scared of one thing, when I went to check the car to see how it is, he cold started it and the car was not fully warmed, so he revved little bit only (only one has pedal hit, or maybe 2) just to demonstrate how loud it is.. not till red line tho, probs near to 4K rpm but deff it was above 3K rpm. that got me concerned, should I change the rod bearings before buying now in this case? Or buy it with no worries and can do rod bearings next time? Does that in itself do any damage to rod bearings? Like not speaking of those who rev till red line immediately after cold start, but only as I mentioned.. this rod bearing issue is scaring me out, hope you give advise
