I've been shooting on 4K DCI with 1.33x anamorphic. Blackmagic did recommend that on their forum. For 120fps been using 2.6K 16:9. Results are nice, tho it's 2x crop and a little bit soft. But it gives you a second focal length kinda. And you can always upscale the footage to 4K /8K with Topaz Video AI if needed. Good video 👍

I can't decide between 35mm and 50mm MFT for my Blackmagic. Whats the equivalent FOV compared to a spherical lens? Take width of a stage. I used 50mm spherical till now and captured the whole stage, theoretically... Should I go with 35mm anamorphic or 50mm to get the same width of the stage and similar FOV... Pls help :D

Can anyone help me here? I also shot anamorphic with a BMPCC4K and a Sirui 35mm 1.33. Should I set my timeline resolution to 4096x1716 DCI Scope 2.39 or to DCI 4096x2160? The button in camera is on to automatically desquezze x1.33. Thank you allready! Thank you allready for an answer and regards

You should have shot in 3840x2160 UHD. Then the 1.33x desqueeze should be an aspect ratio of 2.40:1, so the timeline resolution should be 4096x1716.
