I always enjoy the straight to the point focus of your videos, but am usually wanting more video over photo representation. Thank you, because you delivered that and then some with this review. The cheesy acting wasn't so bad either. No, really it wasn't. This was thoroughly enjoyable!

My only complaint about this lens series, I have them all, is the defects called flares, otherwise I love them.

HELP!!! I use Sony FX30 and Lumix S5IIX with Siriu anamorphic lenses 24mm and 35mm 1.33. I choose desqueeze 1.33 on the menu (on the menus Sony and Lumix) but when I download the videos on my computer the files are not desqueeze? What I have to do? Thanks a lot.

I notice a lot of wobbling in the some of the footage. Is it the camera body IBIS, or was that the digital stabilization? Thanks!

Finally a Super35 Anamorphic that will actually produce some amount of bokeh. It's a shame 1.33x doesn't really provide much anamorphic character.

Would an ND filter help lower flares?

Great review. As always. I‘d really like to try out this specific lens but: 1) Is there a possibility to tone down the harsh horizontal flares? Yeah, I know, that‘s what these lenses are intended to do, but for me they‘re quite distracting and a bit over-the-top in several scenes. 2) Could a color grading in post production help at least to change them from blue to a more „natural“ color?

@@neeth696 It was a daily deal from Adorama...sorry. But if they did it once...they will do it again somewhere. Perhaps put a price drop on it...and wait. It's a very good lens actually. I also bought the Nisi 77mm diopter for around $130. Brings in the minimum focus. It's so good I cannot see any degradation in my still images...let alone video (which is more forgiving).

did you used a ghimbal when taking the videos for cheesy trailer ? i notice some annoying shakes.

Yes, this was a pain to balance so there are some shakes here and there.

We really are spoiled as creators nowadays. Honestly. These lenses are really good for the price, and are simply unheard of just 5 years ago. What a great time to be into anamorphic shooting!
