Not sure if there is a setting that does that all the time, but all you need to do is hold down Option (Mac) or Alt (PC) while you click on the audio or video and it will ignore the link and will select just the audio or video,

Hi, thanks for the video! I have a question, I took this camera with a sigma 30mm 1.4 DC DN but when I want to adjust the image format, it does not offer me FF, but aps-c at maximum, why? Oo Thanks for your attention
@chinfatАй бұрын
Are you shooting on an SD card? I believe that you need to shoot in ProRes to unlock the FF with video. With an SD card, you can shoot FF stills, but I don't think you can shoot video. You need to shoot onto a USB-C SSD in ProRes to use FF. I could be wrong, but I think that's the way it works.

@@recuiemprod I can't imagine what's going on. I would suggest a reset to factory settings, which can be easily done in the menu. If that does not work, you may also need to make sure your camera is on the latest firmware. And my last suggestion (if nothing else works), call Panasonic's support. They are pretty helpful when it comes to tech support.

I do the remap. Yes. When I work on the PC, I actually do remap it to ALT + X, which is pretty much the same as OPT + X. Most of the shortcuts are pretty much the same going from the PC to Mac. Not sure why that one is so different. Weird.

Hi Chinfat, would you recommend someone learn AVID after they have worked with Premiere for a few years or do you think it's better to just focus on one editing program? Woah, that was a long sentence. Sorry about that lol Your videos are incredible!
@chinfatАй бұрын
Hey... thanks for watching. I think it's great to be "multilingual" when it comes to editing. It doesn't hurt to know Premiere, Resolve, Avid, etc. to make yourself more marketable. I used to work on Avid as an assistant editor about 15 years ago. I haven't used it since then. If you are going to be a Hollywood editor, knowing Avid is a must. Most Hollywood films are edited on Avid. The rest are typically edited on Premiere. Most production houses, documentaries, and indie features use Premiere these days. So for now, it just depends on who you are working for. I find that when you know how to edit well, you can quickly learn other editing apps.

Hey Ralph. Have you tried updating your video drivers? Oft times, updating the drivers for your video card will help with functionality. Adobe bases most of their software upgrades on the latest drivers. If you have a Nvidia supported card, you can download and install Nvidia Geforce Experience and it updates your card to the latest drivers. www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/geforce-experience/
