YES! i have waited eagerly for this one, its all good and well with horus heresy and the goody goody gondorarians, but the creepy fortress is where its at! Ever since you startet this project and layed out your plan with the cliff face, the bridge and the spider infested trees, i could just see it before my waking eyes. Also im impressed with how you can store everything like this in the containers, i would be sooo anxious that something breaks or gets lost, i hate storing minis too,i always have the feeling omething is gonna happen to them, fall on them, break and bend... idk its just too much work and time for things to go wrong

I just rewatched this one. Have a friend I'm trying to get into wargames and showed him this. "Look how awesome a board game can be!!". Always such sick builds! The size alone amazes me. Just a humble 3d printer myself with some simple foam builds under my belt. Really a huge help that you talk through your process on every aspect of the build. Lots of great ideas and techniques any tabletop crafter can learn from. Cheers!

commenting for support, can't believe these only have like sub 100k views. really professional style and work. It's so hard because i think what would get most people is having videos that are showing it more complete like all from start to finish and longer videos to show it. But thats just so unrealistic with how much time these things take. I really hope you get more people seeing your work! It is awesome.

I've followed the entire evolution of this amazing board there is something magical about this one maybe its all the angles and shapes along with the mixture of materials that you have used. This is an absolute work of art and cannot wait to see it in its full glory .

Dude you are crazy building two massive boards. I wish I could support you more. This board looks utterly amazing and might I say again that you're mental for tackling all of the Tabletop Communities' dreams in these two settings!!

The simple choice to make everything angled in this build has really created an amazing effect on the entire thing. This is probably my favourite build of yours, which considering I don't really like the plastic kit and wasn't particularly blown away by the set in the movie is pretty cool.

Just like you can't keep a good Bad Guy down, you can't keep the Bad Guy's fortress build down for long. Great to see this build continued.

Returning to Dol Guldur after a couple of years to get it ready for war, just like the Dark Lord himself. Sauron would be proud.

That is definitely still your coolest project.

Glad to see MESBG back, would love to see you play out some battle companies on the boards !

Great! I was watching the earlier videos of this project just a week ago and wondered what became of it. Good to see it out again and worked on. With just the preliminary paint job it is looking really good. Can't wait to see more.

Lovely as always mate. I particularly liked the way you blended the plastic balustrades with the foam. That detail looks amazing. Also the idea of locking yourself in a shipping container in the Queensland heat after NZ must have been a bit of a shock to the system. Keep it up you mad lad!

So, at one point, I had a desire to fill my entire basement with a Games Workshop miniatures game map of Middle Earth. I'm not an expert or anything, but when I did the calculations in order to make a scale map that would incorporate the Shire to Rohan would require a playing space the size of Pennsylvania. I'm guessing you guys were a bit more realistic.

I love the "civil war" aspect between the two games. I feel like an online running count of size would be so cool. Length, width, height, pounds of flock, gallons of plaster ect. Just for perspective. Just an idea. Not sure that's even possible at this point

Yeah it's my favourite build too :) :) nice to have it back. As it's been over a year since HH, I'm not sure how much less I can get haha. There will be a small return of HH at some point in 2024, but Middle Earth will be the dominating presence for sure :)
