I know u kindda shock to see the animal were in pain due to sacrifice but we were build by God to eat meat and vegetables to survive. Actually the reason God create that so we appreciate food and not to waste any. By seeing the suffering and pain of all those living things that gone through death just to feed us, we start to realize that every each of food that we eat they all went to the painful dying. Therefore, dont waste your food because they all are living thing that willing to sacrifice their lives just to feed us. So muslim process is the least painful process compared to the other slaughtering, for example if u shocked the animal. They had to face the shocked+slaughter and muslim just went to one phase which slaughter only. U might said the animal is unconscious but actually they are alive and they were weak to respond. Thats all.

When you keep on thanking the cow's and lamb's meat, it reminds me that you really are very Japanese 😀. As for Muslims we will say "Alhamdulillah" which means "all the praises only to Allah"
Eid ul Adha celebration is not just simply about killing animals and eating. In fact, a large part of the meat is supposed to be gifted or donated to the poor. We believe that performing this sacrifice will bring us blessing of Allah and helps us in the afterlife. More importantly, for us Muslims, it is celebrated to commemorate Prophet Ibrahim’s devotion and faith to Allah SWT without any doubt in his mind. His faith was tested when he received a message from Allah to sacrifice his son, prophet Ismail. At the very point of sacrifice, Allah SWT replaced Ismail with a ram, which was to be slaughtered in place of his son. This command from Allah SWT was a test of Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness and commitment to obey Allah's command, without question. Therefore, Eid-ul-Adha means the festival of sacrifice. On this day also, we learn the meaning about sacrifice, as Kaz said. At the same time, Muslims who are in Mekah performs the holy pilgrimage.

Don't worry Kaz, the cow is not really in pain. The slaughtering process is to make sure the pain receptor is cut off quickly so the cow wont feel pain anymore. However the main nerve is left intact so the brain will continue send signal for the heart to pump blood as usual. Thus, we can see so much blood is pump out and cow will die due to insufficient blood supply. Although it may look cruel, but the slaughtering process if it's done correctly is very humane as the cow died painlessly.

There's research being made by Westerners showing that the slaughtering process in Islam is the most painless method for animal. And furthermore Kaz, you can see that most predators like tiger, lion and even cats when they attack their prey like cow, mouse or anything, the predator will attack their neck first and tear the bottom neck part, so by comparing this, the method of slaughtering that being teach in Islam is similar to the natural way of animal predator killing it's prey.. Hope this helps ease your mind. ❤️

Its very good experience actually.. even teenager now just ignore what community doing for hari raya korban.. u and your friends actually make us know what actually we should do to join and give them hands to experience and feel it .. thnks for the good video
Despite Hari Raya Aidiladha meaning, actually if you slaughter meat this way, you can get a better meat with no uneasy and nasty smell. Bcs the way slaughtering them will make it easier for blood to flowing out of the meat and leave a clean meat. That's why a massive amount of blood come out when you saw the cow slaughtered. The fat when cooked also formed into solid fat and not oil.
Not all can afford to eat beef and mutton bcoz in some place its really expensive. So in hari raya korban the rich share and give to the less fortunate.
If you were born in a Muslim country you would find it pretty normal.as time goes by,you will get used to it.you are grown up but many children in Muslim countries enjoy it.Love from Bangladesh!
That why not everyone can become a certified halal butcher, not a jobs for some people,
I am in my 40s now and as a muslim in Malaysia, i have saw many Qurban rituals since i was 5-6 years old and it never traumatized me because we understand cows, chicken, goats and fishes are our food. lol..At least in Muslim Halal procedures, the cows cannot be treated in cruel way before their slaughtering.

It nice for kaz and friend to learn our culture and they can know about our religion... selamat hari raya kaz... i always enjoy your video...
Yesterday I seen 7 cows been slaughtered for Hari Raya Haji since I took part in contribution for the 'Korban' for the first time. The process of slaughtering does look like eerie but I am glad that the people that received the meat is feeling happy. The emotion for this particular event(ibadah) is mysterious. I don't know if it's sad or happy but I feel relieved now since I can do something to make other people feel happy upon receiving the meat/donation. Highly recommend to all my Muslim friends to take part next time.
Ichi wa zen, Zen wa ichi. It is the circle of life. What we need to learn from this is to appreciate life and be grateful. Also people need to learn where their food comes from so they can have more empathy. People in the UK are quite detached with food. They feel weird to even eat fish with heads 🙄.

Lmao the UK gave knighthood to ped0 like "Sir" Jimmy Saville and war criminal "Sir" Tony Blair. Prince Andrew and his Epstein shenanigans. They never had any credibility to lose. They talked a lot of sht, criticizing our palm oil industry and bullying Finland into giving up our joint biofuel program BUT in the same year they opened up new coal power plant. Tsssssss. How very green of them. We all would very much like to keep them muted but they pop up in everyone's business like the tools they are. The UK even lied about what they did to their own neighbor Ireland so can't expect much honesty from them on formerly occupied nations continents away. Recently, I have started to avoid using the word "european colonizers" because there are innocent European nations like Ireland, Poland, Finland, Estonia, Luxembourg etc, also of course our beloved blood brothers Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina ❤
Do not scare kaz..it is part of life...we learn new knowledge everyday..
The islam technique actually less pain compare to others..when you cut the 2 main arteries around the neck..the blood flow didnt reach to brain and thus you wont feel any pain anymore longer..plus at neck is the most highest pressure for blood to bust out and thus the meat will be clean from blood..some people says islam is cruel for slaughtering animal every year for their festival..but they never know how they process meat at factory..using electric shock and razor blade machine which i can see way more cruel
Kouji : Im worried, Im soo nervous Also Kouji : Whoaaa.. Uwhaaaa!! Oishi
9:15 - I beg to differ with the nice lady's statement. Compassion for slaughtered animals does not affect halal and haram if it satisfies the legal conditions of slaughter as presented in Islam. The nature of compassion for animals is human nature. Therefore, we are encouraged to follow the manners and rituals during slaughter. We have to follow as taught by the Prophet Muhammad SAW in order to facilitate and reduce the pain of slaughtered animals.
You need to remember this Kaz.... Daging = meat = niku Lembu = cow = ushi Daging lembu = gyuniku

Sincere condolences on Japan's loss of the late ex Prime Minister.
Fun to watch your vlog, kaz.tq
The main intention of Hari Raya Haji is to remember the sacrifice of prophet Abraham (Ibrahim) that was to slaughter his son prophet Ishmael ( Ismail) but later with the will of God the human sacrifice is change to animals. Plus it is also a day to share with those who are poor and in need. Sure the slaughter looks a bit gruesome but the meat is later to be given to those who never had tasted meat before either because not able to afford or in hardship. So in a way, we respect the animals by honouring them with their meat give to those in need.
They casually answered "We are Japanese" to why they're early 🤣🤣👍
Raya Haji is for 4 days actually. But for holiday only 1 day (2 days in Kelantan & Terengganu) and if the Raya held on Sunday, so the holidays become 2 days.
thanks for being honest Kaz, its actually a good thing since we will be distributing the meat to the poor later!
The act of sacrifice requires a lot of faith, just like how you realized you should never skip itadakimasu before eating. We muslims also say bismillah (in the name of Allah) before doing any work including animal slaughter & eating. God has allowed us to eat meat thus we must honor the sacrifice by chanting gods name like what they did during the slaughter process. Like other human being we also feel sympathy etc but by having faith it relieves us and makes us believe that god will reward both the meat donator and the animal accordingly. It is thru faith that we can carry this process with belief that it will also help the poor and needy by distributing the meat.
That is why Raya Haji also known as the festival of sacrifice.
New experience. It" s worth it. I love your video. Good job.
Well it is not only in Malaysia, but you can also experience it in other Muslim countries.. for example in Arab, they used a camel instead of cow

You get pass the painful experience with eating great food to forget it ever happen
✌✌✌ Hello Kaz! Hari Raya Haji is all about sacrifice. We give up something to get something else. Even though our cultures/religion are different, if you feel the gratefulness from the sacrifice of a living creature so that we can live, that's the key. Sometimes we take sacrifice for granted, not just with food, it can be also sacrifice of our parents for us, or even the hard work we do to achieve something. Sometimes we have to see the struggle with our own eyes to appreciate it. Itadakimasu is such a beautiful way to honour the sacrifice put into each plate of food. In a way, the concept is the same 😊 May we always honour the struggle and sacrifice that make our lives better.
Prophet Ibrahim (who built the Kaabah in Mecca) had a dream in which he was ordered to sacrifice his beloved son Ismail, at first, he was sceptical and believed it was trickery of the cursed devil. After experiencing the dream, the following night, he then understood that it was a message and a command from Allah (SWT). Without hesitation, he prepared his son for the sacrifice. Ibrahim loved his son dearly yet this was no obstruction to honouring his duty that was instructed to him by Allah and thus proving his full submission to Allah (SWT). Ibrahim (AS) took his son to the top of Mount Arafat and in his hands, a knife and a rope. Upon Arrival, he mention the dream to his son Ismail and made him aware that Allah has decreed for him to be a sacrifice and in obedience his son Ismail accepted what was commanded of him. Ismail asked that his hands and legs be tied to avoid struggling during the sacrifice and that his father should blindfold himself to avoid witnessing the suffering of his son. Ismail was aware of his father’s love for him and knew that this would be difficult to witness. As Ibrahim began to carry the sacrifice, Allah replaced Ismail with a ram and Ismail was unharmed. Allah tested Ibrahim to see his dedication in his submission (Islam) to his creator. In his willingness to oblige to Allah (SWT) commands, Ibrahim successfully passed the test and Hari Raya Aidiladha and the sacrifice act as a reminder of our beloved Prophet Ibrahim's dedication and devotion to serving Allah obediently, this is the true Islam of oneself that Allah (SWT) expects from us, Muslims.
Happy Eid Adha Kaz 😊
Happy Eidul Adha Kazz
You better study the history or the origin of Eidul Adha from the Prophet Ibrahim 'Alaihis Salam story long long time ago. Then only you can get better understanding of it. The best source story is from the holy Quran itself (in your case get the Japanese Quran translation). The story of each Prophet's in Islam also can easily be found.
Suka do tgk.
Like many people said, not everyone can become the halal butcher as they need to know the right method to sacrifice the animal in one slice and without pain for the animal. The animal will struggle because it will feel like passing out as blood drains from it quickly. I watch the korban (sacrifice) when I waa a small kid and I was just wondering why the blood is so red 😬
Slaughter process in Islam must be done with mannered way; • Animal must be selected from right age & good health condition. • Selected animal should be calmed by feeding them & located in non-stress location. • Praying before slaughter to seek blessings from God. • Only use super sharp knife to ease dying process. • The slaughter action must be done in 1 slaughter movement step only; at the right part of neck. • Cannot slaughter in front of other animals unlike modern slaughterhouse did.
Sup makan dgn sambal kicap pedas...peerghhhh...
Kaz dapat makan sup tulang..hilang sedih..haha..
Hari Raya Haji/ Korban is meant to treat others with food. Meat is always regarded as luxury food especially for poor people will be distributed for people within the community. On the slaughtering, some Muslims also feel sympathy and sad towards the animal. But the rule is, those who sad should not eat the meat of that animal. Many just wait far from the slaughtering area to avoid the feeling.

There are so many events commemorate to Raya Haji, you can see it as it has a few more name like Raya Qurban (sacrifice) and Raya AidilAdha (slaughtering) Raya Haji is celebrated in 4 days actually, from 10-13 Zulhijjah. This is the period when people slaughter the animal and perform the takbir (the pray that they chant during the slaughtering)
When im 9 year old I found a book about raya haji the book say the cow not really in pain and the.... I forget.

Kaz.. we didnt kill the cow.. we slaughtered the cow. Kill like you chop the head, shoot the cow.. but if you see the cow like very calm n willing to submit thier life to be slaughtered. There are significant why we do Kurban when AidilAdha. They will be our transport to go heaven.

We always say prayers before eating! Appreciation for animal and God giving us a healthy life and wealth. Some people are unfortunate to enjoy expensive food like beef or some mosque did camels, so for muslim they do this if you have extra money. The distribution of the meat are like 1/3 for the poor and need people, 1/3 for your neighbor and 1/3 for yourself. The cow have 7 parts that you can contribute together with other people so we all can purchase it for the community.
