Wish I had a line, before I start 18 holes sometimes. Sure would make the game more relaxed.. 👃👃 that's the bottom line, because he said so.. 🤣

This guy goes over basic stuff that I’ve heard before, but it’s important to hear it again and again.
I love that "play the shot you got." That's the most sensible advice I've ever heard on a golf show. Newly subscribed and loving it.

Yah, that's my favorite quote of this video too. It's amazing that I still agree with his overall message though. "Do the shot that's right for you..."

Love your enthusiasm in your videos Mr S G
Great tips, thanks so much! Seems like we've had our eXpresso today! Cheers, Jim
Hilarious, enthusiastic, and informative. The Michael Scott of golf in the best way possible
Love your videos! Especially the part about how you see and feel about the golf course!
It’s refreshing to hear someone who knows the difference between farther and further 😆

Hey bro how's the delta stripers?
I love how you explain it in simplicity. Shows you know your stuff. Who knows with these lessons, I can play on tour for 8 years.
Glad I found this guy! Not like other video where yes they’re helpful but boring and so monotoned and snobby.?This guy makes learning golf fun
Thoroughly enjoy your videos, largely because you're enthusiasm. A production suggestion... how much trouble would it be to create an on-screen text list of the tips that displays before or after each tip so people can have the visual list that tracks your suggestions?
Thanks MrShortGame Golf! These are the types of super elementary things about golf that I as a newbie don't know the right answer to and am thus constantly second guessing myself.
I didn’t know this when we played! Lol great info. Thanks!
That was some valuable points. Probably the most useful video I’ve watched in a while. Thanks
Always get great info (and a few good laughs) from your videos, Matt. Great stuff!
Love these vids. Such useful content and your delivery is so great to watch.
Thank you me short game😃 I took up golf 8 months ago at the age of 56😒 I was about to sell my nice new clubs when I looked at one of your videos about ball set up and you saved me. Your golf tips are the best out there! It’s like the other golfers on u tube are trying to make it as hard as possible
Excellent tips. Am a newer golfer and sure these will help me with my drives. Great video.
I love this so much 😹 totally relaxed. Just have fun and play is how I describe mr SG
Great video, for my iron and hybrid tee shots, I like to use a water bottle cap, it gets the ball off the turf, and the tee height is always the same!
Only person on youtube that gives me helpful tips. Thank you for being real haha
you had a special kind of energy in this vid..love it

Great vid sir. Always a value.
I love your energy man I’m kinda hyper even at 68 😂 but man I was hanging on every word. That’s teaching! You love what you do and you love sharing your passion. I dig it!
Glad I found your channel., great insights!
Love your delivery I feel like it's me and you in the cart great job I'm listening and learning thx
Hi Mr S G great video . I tee my ball higher than that with the driver but I’m a hoverer and find my way back to the ball ok and drive pretty straight I don’t hover with my three wood and irons so you tee up advice makes sense for me. You’re a character I love your videos. Rob.
Fun dude! Talks as fast as I do! Fully comprehendible to me!
Bro you're hilarious! You earned my like/subscribe! "You know, that is so discouraging. That hurts, emotionally." These are my words weekly to my wife as she makes fun of my golf game
Great video!
Only just found this channel has given me some great tips that really have improved my game
oh it hit the line... it probably would have went in.... LOL. love it!!!
I love it! This is Michael Scott playing golf!! Good tips about teeing it up though! "Horrible putt...doesn't matter" Hahahahahaha

I love your tips all the time. Best video to video tips on KZread. You might have been channeling a bit too much Joe Pesci in this one, but I still love ya.
Love your approach to the game and to this video. Thanks for not having a British accent. I’ll watch more of your videos, definitely.
So relatable, great lesson, your camera work is really good. Also, Moves like Keegan Bradley ☝️ 👏👏👏
Enjoyed your videos for a little while now that's why I liked and subscribed. Happy golfing bro
love your enthusiasm !
This guy speaks a lot of sense......very good thanks......
Perfect video. To many people think they can hit draws or fade on command impossible..I tell them let's try just hit a fairway before thinking of hitting fades or draws..
Nice vid MSG! How about one about lining up on the tee without having mower lines etc? I find this is often overlooked by players as well. Diggin your channel.
Thanks dude, your awesome, thanks for the tips
I think your great! I live in Canada. I get Three maybe four months a year to golf. Your personality is contagious, i love it. You have no idea how much your videos help me. I'd love to play a round with you. Keep up the great work. You give average Joe's like me; the tips they can understand!! Thank You
great video. Loving your channel.
Hey MrShortGame...i gotta say i thoroughly enjoy listening and watching your videos. You keep it real! Would love to golf sometime with you if I'm ever out your way! Lmk
I will hit LIKE on this video every day and twice on Sunday. You hit the nail on the head with, “You have to play the shot you have.” There are going to be days when you can hit draws all day long. There are going to be days when you hit a fade, a cut, a push, etc. Play the shot you got that day. If you know that 70% of the time you’re going to hit a push fade with your driver - play the high percentage shot. Also, spend 80% of your time working on your 100 yards and in game and the rest of the time on everything else.
Matt inventing words :). Comfortability. Love it.

Thoroughly enjoyable video. The mower lines is such a simple tip, but such a smart idea. Hello from Old Kilpatrick, near Glasgow
I love and appreciate your instruction brotha! TY from New Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawk!
Love your vids bro they really have helped me
I learned a new word - comfortability.
Great video 👍, good advice ⛳🏌️🏌️♂️🏌️♀️
Great tips
That's the best on course playing tip I've ever seen! If you really did that every round on courses you know well, it would really increase your focus. I'm going to try that, for sure! Thank you, Mr. Short Game!
I love this guy's vids
Thanks, this might help me take a few off my pb 115
I love your thought process on this video. If there certified, run away, lol. Right on man
Dear Sir...you are my Golf Guru..respect and greetings.
great video, down to earth golfer ++
Mrs. MSG is awesome!
I like this guys energy.
Great video
I really like this approach! I know I won’t be a pro!
As a young fella. I'd always tee up as high as i could. Looking at point of impact and bottom of swing. I moved tee down for irons... Best shot ever on a par three. 2 other playas thought it hit the pin. But I'm pretty sure it just checked up on tbe green from the spin❤ Highly recommend this... and MrShortGame
Yes good counsel for all of us. I tee up my Ball pretty much like he does and it works. I tell my Buddies that but they don't listen, Oh well Advantage, Wayne!
Hi Mr ShortGame. I was just wondering if you ever thought about how important our trail elbow plays at the transitional part of our downswing? Personally it's roll is my number one swing thought in golf now for so many reasons. Would love to hear your comments on this should you have any. Cheers.
great vid
So True , We all have a certain amount of Ability and can never ever play better than that , but there are those shining time's when we get LUCKY , but there few and far between , So swing away ! and try to do your best . thanks .
Great video. Very good advice for me being an average golfer. I just started getting my game instead of someone elses.
Wish I had your tempo....so far I'm liking what I'm seeing and hearing
How much coffee did you have my dude? ;) Haha great energy
I’m all jacked up on Mountain Dew. Love the energy
I like this guys energy
this guy reminds me of Michael Keaton in some of his early work....'Gung Ho - 1986'....legend tips though, has helped me heaps. Keep em coming
Okay so I watched this video thinking I don't need this but I enjoy Mr shortgame's video and thought I'd give it a check out to see where I was at. Nothing changed for my driver or my woods off the tee box pretty much I was doing the same thing as recommended. but my tee shots on the part threes with my irons were way higher and the tip helped a lot missed holding a shot yesterday by 18 in :-)
I like your videos brotha. Just subscribed 👍
11:53ish... hit a power line lol.. My VERY first time out golfing, VERY first tee shot(hole #1)... I hit a power wire that ran diagonally across the first fairway..I thought "not starting my golf career out on the right foot" 🙃
Never thought of using the mower lines as guides. Great idea!
@hughcapetien

Most public munis don't have "mower lines" the teeing area is usually chopped up and are/or muddied up!
I love how hype he was on tip #2
I love the enthusiasm, and all the great tips. You must have some funny golf stories....And the wife sounds savage, but real.....lol
8:45 really opening up to us there😂😂
I love this guy it’s like he’s naturally on speed haha!!
I like to use the tees that put the ball at the sam height for my driver....one less variable. I will be in San Diego March 16 and leaving for Vegas on the 17th. It would be amazing to meet up with you. You, Golfholics and Golf Sidekick inspired me to start a KZread channel from my current home in Germany. It would be great to have the chance to learn from the best.
great video where should ball placement be
Thanks for the tee height tip. I went to a course for the first time yesterday. I noticed my buddy who I played with who has been playing a few years was using the tee height with his irons. I did not dare to ask why he did that. not knowing the rules I thought he was cheating. Thanks for this vid and rationale for the tee heights.

Is always OK to ask questions
Great vid, I also would like to add to pic a nice level spot in the T box. There are a lot of T boxes where there are dips and high and low spots that will make you hit bad shots.

I played yesterday and teed up half way between white and blue (i play white) bc the box was such shit
Hi Matt, great advice on the tee heights for thousands of weekend golfers out there. I work as a Starter at Pronghorn Resort in Bend Oregon. I see it all on the Tee Box, everything you showed and much more on how golfers incorrectly tee up there golf balls. Another very good video. PS, you seem to be talking and moving a little slow maybe a few more cups of coffee before you start. Joking Ha ha If you ever come up to Bend Oregon give me a look up on Facebook and I will give my mobile#. I will hook you up for some rounds up here. Bob Firth
