I’ve never commented on a KZread video before, but I feel compelled. Yeah those aluminum fuel Tees are real problems. I’m working on my Dads 76 KZ900 he bought new in 75. We cleaned and rebuilt the carbs and had a leaky orig. OE tee. Went with the aluminum Z1 Ent. Tees. Originally they seemed ok and were working but then one started to leak I think that happened after some movement of the fuel line which compromised that joint. Interesting we went with repressing the aluminum joint with JB weld added. So far so good. We did this work about 2 weeks ago. Before seeing your video. You are not along having an aluminum fuel tee issue. I have a funny video where I had a close up video of the tee area when my dad turned on the gas and I saw it leaking and let a little profanity fly. I found you looking for KZ front fork seal replacement instructions which we are doing now. Thanks for that too.

I have notified them with a video clip and all they said was they’re looking into it. Can you tell me when you ordered and received the failed tees? I’m curious as to whether these were sold after they knew about the issue.

@@MotoRestoFL We ordered the Tees on 10/14/23. They were shipped on 10/15. After some travel and carb rebuilds we got them installed around the first of December. And after a fuel tank R&I we found the tees leaking on 12/11 and told Z1 Ent. Of the issue on 12/12 They sent us 1 replacement aluminum fuel tee.

James Condon on KZread has a real nice air over hydraulic lift. It’s not quick but it’s a beast.
