The Best Weaving Pattern For Spacenets!

Hey Everybody! This video goes over the best pattern that you can weave into your net once it's setup and you have that empty space of canvas to work. I am not sure what the name of this method is but it is a very simple pattern that creates beautiful shapes.
Here are the benefits:
- Because of the increased amount of clove hitches, the net is more redundant.
- The doubled up strands of paracord protect the net from abrasion and reinforce is strength-wise as well.
- This method is very methodical and straightforward
So what are the cons???
_ The only con is that it takes a little bit longer to make a net this way over the insanity method. The reason for this is because of the added amount of clove hitches that take longer than simply wrapping paracord around itself.

For those of you that have read this far, I am selling spacenets!! Here is my website link: allpineweaves....
Thank you all so much for your support!
I've now made six spacenets with the most recent one having a 15m x 15m x 15m perimeter. This was huge! I made a few mistakes along the way and learned a lot of new things. I'd like to share the do's and dont's with all of you so that your first spacenet making experience is a fun one! Stay tuned for the next episode! :)

    Man this has just opened up my world. I'm 64 and always wanted to build ziplines in my woods but pulling cable for a single woman was always tricky. What I love about these nets is I can start low for my great niece and nephew and add higher and higher as they age and it will be something I can really bond with them over. Thank you 🙏🤗🥰

    Hi! Just found your videos after diving down a spacenet rabbit hole :) I can't wait to put one of these together for my kids! One question though... After weaving, can they be taken down and moved? I'm thinking about using ratchet straps to connect the skeleton to the trees, and wondering how much the double touch weaves will move. What are your thoughts on that?

    I've never made spacenet before, but I'm going to hopefully make some in my tree this summer, it looks so fun! Thank you so much for these videos, they're a huge help :) Just wondering, how would you do the middle of the net? Sorry if this is a dumb question lmao

    Have you ever thought of using constrictor hitch instead of clove hitch? It's almost similar but as the name suggest constrictor hitch won't slide.

  • @treenetweaves

    @treenetweaves

    I have. I just think it would take much longer to have to tie hundreds of constrictor hitches over clove hitches. It would definitely work though! 😊
