I’d love to see a video someday on short-guy options for painter’s jackets / chore coats.

I picked up a couple of sweatshirts from Ash & Erie. I like their French Terry fabric mixed with some stretch. They are a bit pricey but they had a nice sale during the holidays that made them more affordable.

A brand that I really like is called American Vintage. They're French, not sure how that happened 😅. But they make great sweatshirts in my opinion - very nice thick and substantial fabrics.

Can we get more reviews over time when new pieces from this company release?

Request - video on best overall cotton sweater please. Sweatshirts are limited to lounging and sports.

I've just purchased a crew neck from M&S (Marks & Spencer) who are a well-known and respected department store chain here in the UK. Their menswear range has improved massively over the last 5 years or so and I bought a regular fit crew neck in grey marl. Really good quality and although it has room it isn't huge on me. Slightly boxy but the quality is good. 100% cotton (no details on gsm) and it has the triangle, which I also like. I'm 36-38 in chest and it fits well. The sleeves are very slightly too long. I'm about 5'8" so slightly taller than you. If you can get one over there then it might be worth looking at? I'll check out abbreviated. Never heard of them before but seems up my street!

Can I ask what pants you're wearing here?

Are you sure that neck gusset isn’t internal? The lighting makes it look like something is still there

Yeah, nothing on the inside either. I don’t think it actually affects durability though!

I wondered why that triangle was a thing so I Googled it earlier this week. Nice bit of trivia.

You should avoid sweatshirts with substantial ribbing. That makes the torso look even shorter. You should try a size S.

I saw this on your Uniqlo review too, but are the shoulders meant to be that low on sweatshirts? It might be me being used to tees and collared shirts but in my mind the line should be at the shoulder - unless sweatshirts are meant to be worn this way?

Both of these sweatshirts are relaxed fit, hence the dropped shoulders. A traditional sweatshirt would have shoulder seams closer to your shoulder bone.
