Funny how they mention that they would want Blackmagic to do both a small box camera and an 80x80 video hub and one month later they release those exact things. Great video by the way!
Probably the most informative “studio tour” that I have watched. Very impressive.

Quick suggestion about the power off buttons at 23:20: Create another folder within streamdeck and when one of those two buttons is pressed, the "power off" folder opens up and at a different section of the streamdeck the actual buttons appear to shut down all the racks. And in the bottom left you'll get back to your main screen again.
This is not only a high tech studio company, but they also a humble people who make people feels enjoy and comfortable whenever they're working on
Its so cool to see a Studio that was built from ground up with current day technology. The broadcasting company I work for was founded in the 60s. Therefore every upgrade has to be somewhat backwards compatible, resulting in less efficient workflows.
Very impressive, everything looks awesome and I loved how the live editing is done, very efficient!
That’s some next level shxt. Wish I worked there. So much knowledge can be learned by just watching others working.
I love this, and I appreciate the bonus feature, it is always about the experience and making the client feel @ home. The studio is really amazing. Notes taken and points heard.

1:44 Interesting to see the Axibo PT4 head and rail systems in use here. I use the PT4 controller to adjust the iris on a camera 2,300 metres away via ethernet, here in the UK at Eton Dorney rowing lake. It's a fantastic piece of kit all round. The PTZ auto-tracking on the PT4 is outstanding for the money.
If you would change anything about the studio, guest area, control room, meeting and other facilities, what would that be. How big is the different rooms, and what is your height in the studio area?
Great behind the scenes video!

Box camera you say? Granted!!
This is awesome 👌
Nice! Really lovely bunch of people!
Hi. Loved your setup! Would it be possible for you to let us know how to integrate the unreal engine with ultimatte chroma? We have the vive sensors and base station and we would like to expand it to use 4 ultimatte channels with unreal.Thank you in advance
with the lv1 and audiomovers based off it wont support 3rd party plugins...are you sending soundgrid to another pc/mac to then use the standalone audiomovers app? Or are you bussing ASIO1 and 2 to the local lv1 machine and then using the app? Thanks.
The most interesting presentation I ever seen about this new technology and way of working, good job. I have specifically a question for Morgan. Did you connect every Ultimatte 4K on each node of your computers cluster or did you connect all Ultimatte 4K on your main node. What is the software you are using to manage your cluster ?
@MorganHiu

Each computer has a decklink card that sends the background to their own Ultimatte. I’m using Switchboard to manage the machine and to launch the project across all six machines. Then they join a multi user session hosted on the 1st unreal machine so I can make real time changes to the project and it populate across all the machines.

So limpid. many thanks. I live in France and I would like to create same studio technology as yours. Last question, do you generate a new virtual background on Zoom for example when a guest is coming on the video ? @@MorganHiu
How do you control green spill in such a small room?
@akyhne
6 ай бұрын
Blackmagic Ultimatte 12. They are so effective, you can take a glass bottle, fill it half with water, hold it in front of a green screen, and all green will be removed. Without deleting any of the bottle.

So, they didn't talk about it, but one of the minimacs in the racks is clearly running VirtMop 3.0. I believe they can just hit a button on the stream deck to wipe everything down. Unfortunately AutoWring is still in beta, so that's a manual process right now, but yeah such a small room there's enough capacity they only need to do that once a day. Hopefully they are recycling it though rather than just dumping it in parking lot...green pollution can be pretty damaging.
What software do you use to get the FIT controller working over the internet? Very interested to get a similar workflow happening
Can you please tell us some details about the soft lights?
27:04 Emma needs to be paid more - so she can take a college course and learn how to put on her jacket!
Hi, what are the name of the sliders you are using? Any issues with them?
What brand of TV's are they using or what TVs or monitors do people recommended with some sort of decent colour accuracy?
5k - Vive Mars Camera tracking lets goooo! 😂🎉
*has 25 gig networking* *worries someone watching Netflix will bring said network to a halt*
Does anyone know what telemprompters are being used in the studio?
I wanted to know if you could point me to a video/document that shows me how you connect your cameras to the Mars CamTrack. Are you using a parent / child configuration? I have watched the Unreal portion multiple times and I don't see that happening. Thanks for your thoughts.
how do you run video from mac mini to monitor? mac mini - hdmi to sdi - blackmagic switch - sdi to hdi - monitor? or do you use different mode, maybe fiber cable(thunderbolt or displayport)? other than that very nice video

Isaac from the team here - Much of the time we interface with our computers through Jump Desktop! The majority of the macs are inside our racks then run through teranex converters then go through roughly the sequence described. However we have a few that are directly hooked up to monitors - but this is mostly due to us being out of space on the racks and the videohub!
what was the budget for this studio in total

Greetings. Thanks foir this video. What is the name of the software he mentioned here (kzread.info/dash/bejne/qH5svKR-hbuylrA.html) to use with OBS?
@MorganHiu

We use OBS for video playback of played when we are not using unreal engine to generate our background. With some additional plugins you can blur the background and edit the color etc…
I hate videos where the sound is not ok or too low on level.
DONT SEE A LOT ON SOUND
@liveproductionmastery

There is a few minutes spent in this video just on how their remote sound workflow goes using audio movers and have a remote audio engineer running the system through waves. A lot of work has been done with sound in this space.
Kind of the engineer? Then again, he did mention Mac. And the ump cut edits are annoying! Is that an example of their quality? SM7b for talkback? This place is overkill. Clients will get a high bill, i suspect but bang for the buck, i doubt.
