Crazy how Tuco changed his demeanour on a whim as soon as Walt blew up his hideout. He instantly gained respect for Walt.

LOL Yea. A good explosion so close can do that to you. Seriously, I think that Tuco is used to be the craziest in the room and has banked on that. He finally met crazy on his own level.

No they explained this in the commentary. Tuco used to be a major supplier of fulminated mercury but moved into meth because the money was better. He now saw Walt as a potential new supply of fulminated mercury and so he played nice. Pretty clever writing if you ask me and of course the performances are great too

Fun story Breaking Bad had just came out, and i wasn't even interested. Visiting my friend's house the show was on, and I randomly came by and saw the "this isn't meth" scene. When i got back home, i binged all the released episodes in one sitting.

It would have been really interesting to see what would have happened if Tuco snorted that lol

The only thing I see wrong with this scene; Tuco, being Tuco, would have immediately pulverized that piece of crystal in order to snort it. Then, boom.

Maybe! I was thinking why wouldn't he try to snort it. One reason is that he might think it's spiked since he just beat up and stole from Jessie, so he's on high alert.

Just a movie, in reality, that sort of blast will bring the presence of police.

Yeah this scene it totally unrealistic. Everybody would have been dead in that office, Walt included.

Does Tuco have the same necklace as Don Eladio? (And maybe Don Hector)
