That Salter buff was insane. She jumped from 'pretty mid' to 'better than most SSR in her class'.

Honestly i feel like ibuki deserves ex tier more than muramasa. Just because there’s another high performing buster AOE in her class doesn’t make her any worse. That’s why we have traits and niches. There’s enough room in ex for both Astoria is just slightly better for general use and ibuki blows her out of the water in niche damage

If anything she’s better, she has niche damage, defense, harder crits, and invincibility pierce.

Artoria : “Who would win you or him?” Muramasa : “Well if Takeru started looping he might cause me a little trouble.” Artoria : “But would you lose?” Muramasa : “Nah I’d win.”

Ibuki is absolutely deserving of Ex tier. Sure Artoria can Farm a little better. But in 98% of farming Ibuki will be just as good. But my god outside of farming Ibuki is a champ. She’s tankier, her damage cut plus defense up skill really adds some decent bulk to her. Her NP seal is clutch. And she plays disgustingly good with Koyanaskaya. Her ability to Unga Bunga power up face cards means her entire load won’t be blown on just her Np and she can make lots of red be dead. Also don’t forget she gets ignore Invincibility AND ignore defense. Thats fucking ridiculous. Like people joke about or ding her for the undead trait and you did too. But then never mention she can just casually roll some of the strongest defense out there without issues AND- AND- IT APPLIES TO HER WHOLE CHAIN. So not only does her NP gets it. But every attack she makes that turn does. You know how many quests / bosses I’ve cheesed because she can np pass their defense and then spaltterfuck them with red follow up cards? Remember that famous quote “A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.” That’s Ibuki. Shes -alittle- bit worse then the best at Np, and unga bunga direct damage, and Crit machines, and challenge quest unities. But still so exceptional at all 3 that combined it makes an amazing package where the others fail hard at the other categories to edge her out a slightly

I don't even like Ibuki, and I'd agree with EX since Artoria is EX. Ibuki trades some raw dmg for much more utility in comparison. The only advantage Artoria has is being standard, so people are more likely to have NP2+, making the dmg disparity more noticeable.

I honestly think Ibuki is EX tier. Currently Imo she’s the most “strongest” Buster saber in NA. She can farm really well thx to her big 50% battery. So you don’t need to unlock and invest in the mana loading append to openly access 50% CEs such as aerial drive. In events this also helps a ton because they like to chuck out 50% battery CEs with the event dmg boosts. Ofc her competition in this department is Artoria (whom I consider to be better performance wise within this field). Artoria has better skills for Oberon cuz of her dragon core. And not only that she has a pseudo 50% battery of her own allowing access to 50% battery CEs as long as you have her 2nd append maxed. Outside of farming, Ibuki performs really well as a crit DPS. Since all of her skills (outside of the first which is attack based rather than turns) lasts more than 1 turn. Helping with consistency. Due to her full gorilla deck, you will always have availability to Buster cards anytime. Unlike her competition, her face card dmg will not fall off. I swear I’ve seen her crits casually deal 500k-700k with supports. And since her crits are 3 turns she’ll be able to replicate the same results in the next turn (unless you went full Brave chain that expends her 1st skill usage completely). Ibuki in comparison however has higher skill cooldowns by 1 than Artoria. I don’t consider this much of a problem though since her skills are 3 turns. And this is hardly a problem with double Koyan in the picture. Outside of critting, Ibuki has access to great CQ potential with her ignore Invul and defence in her np before dmg. This opens up Ibuki to plenty of CE and support options. Because you no longer have to sacrifice per say a more dmging CE for crits or buster in favour for a ignore invul CE. The same sentiment could also be said for support options. Not only that you get buster resist down for the enemy after dmg which helps for more facecard dmg. The only bad part about this is that it’s not like Arjuna Alter’s. Its *AFTER* dmg which is a shame because this would help significantly in her looping performance. For CQs however? Not really much of a big deal. I do get it if you want only 1 buster aoe servant in EX but even then I do consider Ibuki to be better than Artoria in general. Yes Artoria is better for farming which majority of the game revolves around, but as a package? Ibuki takes that no problem.

The Dioscuri were my second SSR when I started playing, and boy did they carry me through the Singularities. They are absurdly practical and fun to use

I don't even have to see the video to know it's Altera. The strongest, cutest and best smelling servant in the whole game 👍

Only change I think I'd make is swapping Dioscuri and Ibuki. Love the twins, but it feels like they only do ok damage after the second skill wears off. Meanwhile Ibuki feels a bit more consistent between the gorilla deck and the buster down on her NP. But I might just be biased. I've had Dioscuri for a long time and want just a little more out of them. Either way, they're both top units.

Ibuki not being EX breaks my heart

I think Mordred could've been B+. She's still better than Siegfried since she can buster farm, and he doesn't have his NP battery upgrade yet. I also think her having strong crit synergy just makes her more valuable and versatile compared to just having the dragon niche.

"Saito doens't do anything very special" kinda ignores his disgusting refund that lets him spam his NP very efficiently.

You know, it might feel weird, but... I feel like right now, I wouldn't put *any* Saber in EX. Maaybe (and it's a big maybe) leaving Artoria and Musashi (but only post JP buff), and adding Mordred and Salter once they get their own buffs. All in all, I don't think there's a Saber that's so dominant compared to, say, Mélusine for Lancers, Castoria for Casters or S. Ibuki for Berserkers. I also think Caesar is surprisingly low, given the numbers he can dish out. Or maybe it's Okita that's too high. as for myself, I'll keep using Void Shiki any chance I get. Goal of the year is to give her NP3 or 4 on Global, in order to finally get her to 120.

I was on the struggle bus for my first two years since all I had was Arthur and Salter. But then my luck turned around and I got NP2 Muramasa, NP2 Artoria, and NP2 Summer Okita Alter along with Musashi. Funny enough, today was the day I got Salter to bond 10 because of the Reines event and have her grailed and 10/10/10'ed ready for her next buff. I also didn't realize Dioscuri was any good, never used them.

Ok nothing personal OP but you probably don't know the powerhouse that is Saito... I mean just use double castoria and you'll see him get a great refund. His kits are awesome he has buster and arts up crit up, evade and defense, star burst. With a black grail ( not even mlb) you can easily get aroun 10 mil damage on an ST boss.

I mean saber alter doesn‘t just match og sabers dmg post buff. no she kind of demolishes her. The buff allows her to use black grail and her np naturally has higher scaling than even an upgraded one. Not to mention that she ends up having a higher atk stat if you grail her to 90 or even 100. Funny how one buff could make that much difference

Right now I think the main advantages og Arturia has are that her buster buff turns all of her cards into buster cards plus the fact that she has way more hp. She also has better np refund than Salter and a much stronger charisma, but her np is only one hit compared to Salter's three hits. Overall I prefer Salter over og Saber, and I knew I had to have her as soon as I saw she was in the game back in the first year.

I mean, right now, current state of na, OG saber is just better, I agree with that but she is very burst reliant and cannot stack her mana burst. Post salter buff saber alter can stack her mana burst for wave 3. Some people argue: But saber can use that new BG that additionally gives overcharge, but going by the dmg sheets even then salter has the edge...not to mention the sheets assume lv80 np1 for salter iirc. They don't steal each other's positions tho, OG saber still has the advantage of being able to just use Double koyan without plug suit and isn't reliant on nodes whereas Saber alter post her buff needs 2/x/x nodes iirc with oberon and more enemies without oberon or bring summer chloe. Anyway, they are post the buff they are more sidegrades to each other with saber alter just having an extremely high dmg ceiling

2004-2024, Artoria is still top-notch.

I really wish they would fix Proto Arthur. I love him to death. It is not fair how they make that fake Artoria stronger than (in my eyes) the real Arthur.

Seeing as I am close to finishing buffing his command cards, and the Golden Fou's, I'd put my hat behind Muramasa for EX. Even at a mere NP1, dude puts in the work.

Personally, I think Salter is better than Gawain as well. Gawain has a decent kit but his np gain is terrible and his battery isn't big enough to make up for it. Lily just has an all around terrible kit and her attack stat is abysmal.

Saber is the class I have more sr/ssr of and yet none of them go over b+. Pain.

Personally i would bump up Sigurd and maybe Arthur by one tier,Sigurd in particular cause as you said youself can get the job done just as fine as lancelot,just a bit anoying to use cause of the requirements but the damage is there and he does his job REALLY well,again just need to be up for making him work cause he depents on card RNG but considering how much damage he can output and that Koyan(light) is a thing he can do ludicruous amounts of damage so long as you pay atention to his damage windows,you can always do some fun comps too like double Koyan(light) and sumer BB and burst things to a different dimension.

Double Koyan makes all buster servants busted though that's not something to be praised and you need 2 rare high level servants just to make him function compared to other servants which is bad If this was my list I would've put Arthur and Sigurd into D tier considering how Arthur's NP suck and Sigurd just wants way too much conditions just to function which is not that good because it's only for 3 hits His third skill also works for 1 turn and u need someone to hit a brave chain to generate stars for next turn At least Proto Arthur crit skill gives stars on command Those servants are also SSR as well which makes it harder to get and if they suck this bad then why even bother other than going for design choice?

Doing tier lists why not a ce tier list to roll for in 2024

Here's my list. I'm not gonna go over my reasoning for everything ( that'd be a LONG ass comment ), but I will say Three things. 1. There's some units I have little to no experience using ( like Diarmuid, Summer Madb, Santa Karna, ). So for them I just took a look at there kit, and factored in what I've generally heard about them. 2. The further to the left they are, the higher they are in the tier. So for example Suzuka is better than Rama. 3. ZTL seems to have forgotten, but Altera doesn't have her battery yet ( which is why she's a bit more middling on my list. EX: Ibuki, Muramasa, Nero Bride. A+: Barghest, Summer Okitan, Diosuri, Saito, Summer Hokusai. A: Beni-Enma, Okita, Musashi, Mordred, Artoria. B+: Bedivere, Santa Karna, Lancelot, B: Summer Tomoe, Lan Ling, Altera, Saber Astolfo. C+: Summer Madb, Lakshimi Bai, Tsuna, Caeser, Siegfried, Yagyu, Jason. C: Saber Shiki, Summer Fran, Gawain, Nero, Salter. D+: Sigurd, Arthur, Suzuka, Rama. D: Saber Lily, Saber Diarmuid. E+: Saber Liz. E: D'eon. Don't: Fergus, Gilles. Any questions about my placements? Feel free to ask ( politely ).

Even without her current buff how is Mordred so low below Artoria? She’s almost the same, even now.

Their purpose are very similar but when you look at NP numbers, Artoria clears her extremely hard on Global. At NP1 with their own buffs on average its 38806 vs 26337. It takes NP5 Mordred with 39505 for her to deal more dmg than NP1 Artoria. That's not accounting team setups where Artoria's NP Str gets doubled by Oberon while Mordred has none. Though, Mordred is either an equivalent or a bit better on JP with her latest buff with team setups since she'll be able to double her mana burst and new attack up in the future with Koyans.

As of now, before Mordred's future skill upgrade, she does way less NP damage. Right now a LVL 90 NP1 Artoria will do 38,800 damage with just her own buffs, whereas Mordred will only do 26,300 damage with her own buffs. And that's just turn one, with double Koyanskaya Artoria gets to double up on her Charisma buff, whereas Mordred only gets her Buster buff one turns 1 and 3, so Artoria has even better turn 3 damage. In terms of farming it's just not even close. Once she gets her buff next year, it'll be a different story. Mordred will pretty consistently do more Turn 3 damage regardless of CE/Team Comp, while also having a more well rounded kit that offers some defense and a crit damage boost. Artoria will still have a harder hitting NP with just her own self buffs, but with Double Vitch and Oberon, Mordred will just barely edge her out in farming.

Wait.... but can these servants beat Miyomoto Iori though

I like the dioscuri as much as the next man but summer hoku is just better..... period. She has a battery and is a crit machine. Dioscuri have great passives and an amazing np but they hit like a wet noodle and require much more work to loop effectively and even then they really need np 2 or an np Buff to compare to the free np 5 hoku.

Dioscuri would be EX with an NP interlude for sure. But until then, I'd rather not have to spam their pool noodle NP 100 times.

I would like to say the mordred reasoning for B teir isn't a great take. In NA even with an unupgraded mana burst Mordred has dual utility as both a CQ saber with her great crits and star gather. Plus her NP does good but not perfect damage. In JP by the numbers she outpaces artoria completely in farming and in CQ since her crits and damage are much more sustainable. Not to mention of all the buster sabers she does the most damage. Even outpacing Artoria and Ibuki in most cases

glad dioscuri is getting the respect they deserve. but I think mordred could be a little higher. Sigurd feels ok you can make him work but I feel like he is due for a major buff. otherwise I think it's ok

Yeah, it’s just NA, so don’t worry about it to much for now. For example: Musashi remains comfortably on EX to this day in JP(specifically after she gets her 1st skill buff). Saber Shiki actually goes from B to A+ after her buff (gets more damage and is able to loop easily with Black Grail) Saber Alter goes C+ to A+ after her buff. A lot of them get way better or even better with time and as soon as Supports like Skadi Ruler, Lady Avalon and Castoria Berserker drop.

Putting Salter in the same tier as Lily is a pretty hot take, considering how terrible Lily's kit is and her low attack stat. Personally I think she's better than Gawain as well. While Gawain has a decent kit, his np gain isn't very good and his battery isn't really enough to make up for it.

This may be controversial but musashi shouldn’t be ex. I don’t use her as much as dioscuri mainly because musashi lacks 3 turn damage. She’s only better when no break bars

@@sibsart2039 Well, I can't really compare the two since I have Salter at np5 and over level 100, but Lily's attack stat is pretty abysmal for a 4 star at only 7,726 at level 80 with no fou cards, so those np levels have a lot to make up for. She *does* have a 3 turn party-wide np gain buff which is nice to have, but her damage just isn't there.

Ibuki is stronger than Muramasa and Artoria. she has a vastly higher attack stack and passives compared to midamasa and Artoria. Artoria is good for farming and that’s it

@@danweenI apologize for that because Artoria actually can black grail 3 turn loop with aapend on and Habetrot sacrifice. But the issue with Ibuki is that she is still gonna need that 10% even when the append is on. So I think Ibuki will still black grail loop with 4 turn though, 1 turn will be needed for Habetrot/ Nobukatsu/ chen gong sacrifice.

Ibuki is at the very top of S tier bro. Muramasa is beneath her. And I don’t think it’s that close. My NP2 lvl 100 Muramasa barely loops if that 🤦
