Great quotes! I like the one about feelings being like clouds in the sky on a windy day. That's good to remember. This too shall pass, no matter good or bad.

Thanks for sharing, Stephanie. One of my favorites is "“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.” Victor Frankl

I really appreciate that your videos have no advertisements. I have quite a sensitive system and it’s often jarring and stressful when there’s some loud advertisement before a video. Just wanted to let you know how much the lack of ads helps. It makes this channel a calm sanctuary for me. Thank you!

I appreciate your comment, and I feel the same way as you do about KZread commercials. However, I was recently informed by KZread that they can add commercials to my videos whether I want them or not. Ugh!

What happens to the inner child when the wound get healthy?

  • @Serenityonlinetherapy

Hi, Rafal. The wounded child is a metaphor for all the unhealed wounds and unmet needs of childhood. So, as the adult acknowledges, grieves, and comes to accept the losses and deprivations of his or her childhood, he or she is able to live more fully in the present with things as they are (greater acceptance of what happened and what is). In addition, healing the wounded child through reparenting the wounded child (kzread.info/dash/bejne/fpqG0KmuocSvgrg.html) allows the wounded child to complete the unfinished developmental tasks (kzread.info/dash/bejne/p2Zn1reykcrQqcY.html) all children need to achieve to be healthy and whole as adults.

Question. I’m in my integration process and I want to have an open heart but What if I’m not done being angry? I still have more emotional integration to do and anger to express in my work. Starting to Forgive would be to soon, right ? Because I would just become angry again. Or do I work with on and off? Doesn’t seem the right way, but Maybe that is me holding on to my anger?
