The best foldable available at the moment. Period. I've been thoroughly impressed with my Open's overall performance, ever since I bought it a month ago. I now find it hard to go back to a regular slab device.

Great video! I also have the Oneplus Open and it has been my best experience with a foldable device, software wise. I still love the form factor of my Xiaomi Mix Fold 3. But I will say that OnePlus really did a great job on the Open!

When going over the front cover display around 2:45, dude has to swipe 3-4x to get it to go to the next pic like 8x in a row. Nice "flagship' device

I know you can complain about something on every phone but, MAN, I wish my Open had wireless charging. Such a weird thing to skip. But, i still love it.

As I said earlier the core issue is with the screen aspect ratio weather it's a phone or tablet and hence the foldable and flip phone are not performing as per expectations both in terms of sale and user satisfaction. Will need to work around it in order to increase the adoption rate .

Yeah your bang on the money with this it's definitely the best phone of 2023 imo. I got the emerald dusk version replacing my crappy fold 4 best move ive made in years 👍

Settings the screen size to small and font to onesans (second point for size) makes this device even better.

MY 2023 list : 1. Huawei mate x5 foldable 1 tb simply brilliant it has absolutely everything devoid of nothing 2. My glorious incredible Samsung s23 ultra most fun phone ive ever owned 3. ONE PLUS OPEN good hinge 4. XIAOMI MIX FOLD 3 excellent design 5. PIXEL 8 PRO impressive AI 6. Iphone 15 pro max 1 tb The Huawei mate x5 fold is phenomenal. It has micro SD card, every camera is incredible, 3 to 5 day battery, stylus pen works every screen , big front screen, emergency satellite crash etc it's amazing and I'm a big Samsung fan

I am selling my iPhone 13promax and will change to this masterpiece. I dont care about ios vs android thing, i want a foldable. I think if you want a foldable, you should get it. Currently, this is the best foldable.

Is better if they can slim down the camera and enhanced the software..

Its first gen one plus open but its the oppo find n3 fold wich is 3rd generation and they have perfected it and whit Samsung 3-5 there almost the same exact phone whit minor details im hoping for zfold 6 to have a different design and a new approach into the fold industry

The tech reviewers don't do due diligence. It's a 3rd gen Oppo device and a good one at that! BUT I think the Samsung ZF5 is still a better device overall... hardware, software, and support. The bad reports are starting to come in as expected.😊

I really wanted this when I was considering my foldable. Ended with the Fold 5 only because i got it for $700 less than the Open.

@michaelbarber8388 i love the software, i cant see myself go back to a non foldable. However, i would still prefer the Open. Perhaps if samsung has a wider front screen I'll be happen to starting as i like the software quite a lot.

I have owned both. The OnePlus is a much better phone imo

I'm giving this video a dislike, since it's misleading. It misses the biggest issue of the phone: there is a keyboard lag, especially on the outer letters (qpqpqpqp) try it out, especially with haptic feedback on.. please make a honest review.

Maybe he's not experiencing lag in the keyboard lol. Try restarting your phone or maybe there's an update. Keyboard lag isn't indicative of any issues.

@@mattlamb15 Reddit is full with complaints. It's a legit issue some people don't notice. It has to do with palm misstouch prevention implementation that can't be disabled.

Maybe you got a bad unit, that happens. But all I can say is that I have no lag on my keyboard at all🤷

No lag with mine, using it now....... Fast phone, great phone. If I am honest, best new phone purchase in the last 5 years
