Chris Haslam will always be one of my favorite skaters & I'm still jealous of my buddy's that got to meet him & also play a game of skate with him haha

Haslam is sick as always, but hes also a cool dude, i used to see him at my old local park(pre Almost days) after i snaked him like six times(i had just started at the time, had no idea about park etiquette) he yelled at me and after he came over said sorry but that i need to watch where im at and whos around me(he was being real nice about it all) and he even gave me some advice that helped me get way more consistent at flip tricks

@@NalbertWattam getting snaked is when your going for a trick but some one else cuts you off and goes a head of you outta turn, or if someone else is going for a trick and you cut them off, best thing to do is just be aware of your surroundings and just give the other skaters a glance to see if their going, most will give you a nod or body gesture to let you know to go or not.

@@dubryda7806 which part? The kick flip tips? That was to slid your foot with the board not to kick down, to keep your foot on the board, like not just with the tips of your toes on and to keep your body centered with the board , it helps keep tricks under you

You can really see how deeply Rodney Mullen had inspired this great man's talent. I will always keep a god like Chris Haslam in my thoughts. Always sick and fluent with his technique and performance. A reinventor of the og inventor...and they BOTH are great guys to be around! May Chris Haslam and Rodney Mullen live forever.

Say what you want, Haslam would absolutely dominate in a game of skate with any other pro, with Rodney Mullen perhaps being an exception. So many of his flips and grinds and stalls have his own unique flavor to them that it would be damn hard to replicate them in one try.
