A lot of skaters don’t realize how much conditioning these guys do on and off the board. It makes a world of difference, especially at an older age.

man skateboarding has felt so stale. We really needed this. I don't think Leo really understands how impactful he is to older skaters that grew up in the era he did. We get to watch a core skater who has always crushed, always put in the work, and always delivered bless us again with a full part for the first time in years. What a great part im sad the 12 minutes are over. Thank you for skateboarding Leo, you dont know how many people youve touched.

Truest words have never been spoken.Im 34 now,about to start skating again after 6 years and to bring back the pump,I'm watching Leo as he's one of my favorites ever and others like him.He is even better than what he was before 6 years when I stopped

@DJ 91 That's how I felt when I got heavily back into skating at 34. Now at almost 38, I can skate for hours just about every day. Truly a matter of physical and mental conditioning, and also optimal recovery habits 👊🏻

I’m almost 38 and I still skate great. Flexibility is soo key along with eating healthy. Take Collagen and fish oil supplements eat a lot of bananas and watch a lot of skate videos and you too will skate into your old age lol 👌

Goddamit, Leo! That's too much awesomeness! When you got SOTY in 2010, I bet no one would imagine you dropping this gem of a part 13 years later! I don't care what anyone says or thinks, you just barged your way real high into the roster of all time greats, at least for me! Thank you for this, and for all the sick things you've done before! It's truly inspiring!

Leo…man, not enough adequate words to describe this part. Legendary, epic, incredible, inspiring, amazing, just WOW. Leo is like the David Bowie of skateboarding, he never disappoints. Not to mention this man is 36 years old. THIRTY SIX, if your an older skater that’s already sunk in on just how many levels of sheer disbelief this part really is. ​@@michaelbenjamin2625 I guess it all comes down to injuries and damages. There must be hundreds of skaters that have the will to skate but their bodies have taken too many bad slams and they can't. Anyone still skating at a world class level at 35 is typically the exception to the rule. 👍🏼👍🏼

Hmmm 🧐 well, probably because when you are hurling your body down enormous flights of stairs and handrails for decades it causes major damage to your body. Apparently everyone thinks they are a doctor on the subject so how about we consult the others who have done this at his age…..wait a second. Went to high school with Leo and I can say his jokes were legendary and everybody just saw him as one of the guys. I used to breakdance at school too and he would say, "What is that? that is NOT breakdancing!" He was always honest and a good friend.

Leo’s footage is insane in this part. He was heel flipping the crap out of everything in his way and added plenty of variety in regards to tricks. Mans basically dropped an end of the year part in February. What a beast

Seeing Leo killing it in his mid 30s is so awesome. Dude can still keep up with the young new top Dawgs like Braden Hoban, good shit!

I don't know. Leo's a hard grape to grow. As you know. He's thin-skinned, temperamental, ripens early. He's not a survivor like Cabernet that can grow anywhere and thrive even when neglected. Leo needs constant care and attention and in fact can only rip in specific little tucked- away corners of the world. And only the most patient and nurturing TM's can do it really, can tap into Leo's most fragile, delicate qualities. Only when someone has taken the time to truly understand his potential can Leo be coaxed into his fullest expression. And when that happens, his flavors are the most haunting and brilliant and subtle and thrilling and ancient on the planet.

Leo putting out a part like it is 15 years ago... I'm here for it!!!

I LOVE THIS STYLE OF SKATE PART! It feels much more like the reality of 'skating', than the usual 'cut cut cut cut cut' edit. Also, I'm here because my teenage daughters just got inspired to start skateboarding. So I dusted my 15+ year old board off and noticed it's a Leo model! So here I am, blown away by someone who can still skate at such a level - he's 37 while I'm 47, so I truly understand how insane this part is at any age, yet alone 37. Amazing.

The first KZread video I watched was of Leo back in 2003, Leo is an inspiration to skaters 💯🔥

I can't believe how long hes been killing it. Dudes built himself two decades worth of pro skateboarding. I remember he was one of the early "rail guys" who rode for foundation, pharmacy and emerica. Those were the three brands of that kind of skating in the 2000s. Along with brands like Pig and Baker. I've always thought Toy Machine was an awesome fit for him. Toy Machine has stayed awesome forever though. Been so many different chapters in it's existence and who's rode for it

I don’t get how Leo can STILL keep progressing, rockin, and hucking off this stuff after doing it for so long. I’m basically the same age and my body struggles to keep up anymore … but if your still riding at this level … I’m impressed. You’re an inspiration. I guess I’ll have to push it a little harder. Keep skating, I love it.
