This man's voice is just thee best.. Pure class. Silky voice, most natural amazing singer ever been. I'm 52 and still listening in 2023 and if I live another 52 I'll be listening in 2075. But I doubt that. I just hope they have music in heaven/hell, wherever I'm destined. Just imagine this. If they had a band in heaven? Wow, Al Green, Marvin gaye, Bob marley, elvis, all the amazing artists that aren't alive today. Up there jamming. Lol. This music is timeless, classless, raceless, ageless, if you don't like this music. I feel so sorry for you.... Get your ears checked. Lol. Rev. Al green is the man. Listen to that voice
Im 61 years old, and I can listen to this and be this young 17 year old woman all over again, with my long hair and bell bottoms, Large gold hoops in my ears, always had a warm smile to offer back then, Warm smiles in return, Man it was a beautiful time.

Al Green’s song saved my marriage during my postpartum depression and my husband’s cocaine addiction in early 80s while I immigrated from Korea to U.S by marrying an American . His soothing voice and heart wrenching lyrics was the my best medication during the horrible marriage and we are still happily married after 40 years with five children .

Mr.Al Green another music icon from the 70s. Where as the competition in the music industry was phenomenal!! The 70s DECADE had countless music artists and groups that made extraordinary music 🎶!! Brother Al Green made his mark along with Barry White, Teddy Pendergrass, Marvin Gaye and countless others whom contributed to that (SOULFUL SOUNDS) May God be with you all for everything you did to make this world a better place and sharing your timeless music and voices!!!Richard Shackelford ❤❤

Precious Al Green! Sir, it was such an honor to live during the Motown era. You and other new song artists were introduced to us constantly! Man, I wore my Al Green vinyls out (45s and albums) with great joy. I still can't get enough of Al Green's unique vocal, smooth, and soulful sounding love ballads. They simply feed my soul, even decades later. The music is so meaningful and truly timeless. It is an unmatched musical joy whether you're married or single. It tends to take you away on a heavenly type floating or exercise experience, with or without your Calgon bath bubbles. Lol. I love you Al Green! Thank you for your classic gold musical contributions. Know that your music continues to heal many souls worldwide. It's universal relatable lyrics hold messages and sounds that just let's you ride along in a joyful, mellow, thoughtful manner. I am riding now while sipping water. But, I had to stop and pen you. God bless you forever ❤ 🎉

Thank you Mr Al Green for Beautiful Music!!
I grew up listing to this man and still remember every song, every beat, & every word.
Currently in 2023 and lovin' it more than ever. Truly gifted and recognized that it was better to glorify God with his gift. But there is an anointing on his secular music too. It really comforts my soul. In H.S. I played keyboard with a local band. We played the top 20 with several Al Green songs in the mix. Our lead singer was a gifted imitator. I hope to one day visit his church in Memphis. Praising God for your gift. Continued Blessings Pastor Green. 🙏💚🙏
I’m an old soul. Been listening to delta blues since I was in high school, but the day roughly about 5 years ago when I first heard Al sing, “Let’s Stay Together” it shined a light upon my soul that I’ll keep with me till the day I truly rest in the ground and become a tree to grow silently in peace and love

I had a good friend, and he and I would listen to this whole album! Al Green is a. AMERICAN TREASURE!
The Minister of Soul -- Al Green is a national treasure. The sound he and Willie Mitchell captured in the '70s is a landmark in sound recording. My faves are "I'm Still in Love With You" and "Love and Happiness." I'm as white as can be, but The Reverend Al's classic era is as good as music gets. The playback device doesn't discriminate based on color.

Grew up in Memphis living in apartment on Winchester blvd, Al Green had a recording studio across the from Tops barbecue, I used to get my self a barbecue sandwich and ride my bike across the street to his recording studio and I would set under the window of his studio and listen for hours. My friend would turn me on to AL Green and told me quit listening to Heavy metal. I did quit listening to Heavy metal. I chose to listen to AL Green instead.
I remember cleaning the 8 trak recorder. The slot next to it on the player would tape this every weekend. The gathering of card players after the dinner was a godsend. Love and happiness. Always have a new tape for the next month party. Soul and togetherness. .65 years old now Wendell B.
I grew up listening to Al. 57 now and it still is 🔥

*_John 3.16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”_* _Jesus Christ loves you. Only Jesus Christ saves. Repent and be saved. God bless you, and the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you and your family._
My parents favorite album, may they Rest In Peace. They were blessed to go to one of your concerts before daddy was taken in a car wreck 27 years later momma to diabetes and it’s horrible affects on a human. Still jamming to you today would have been mom’s 68 th bday. Never gets easier but through doing stuff I know she loved and this album was one. So thank you!!!!

Love his music. I-requested and received Al Greens album for my 23rd birthday. The feelings of love for his music the same today as40 years ago.
Although, I've listened to and loved Al Greens music since before adolescence, I find myself really appreciating his music in the here and now. Who wouldn't?
I’m 43, and lost my 65 year old mom in 2021! These songs bring back good memories of her! She loved drankin her Shlitz Bulls. Always would play these songs when she was cleaning, or sitting outside! I sure miss her! Thanks for the trip down memory lane 🙂
