Nice vid I actually use all mentioned guns for the relevant factions apart from trench carbine as if I'm using recon I prefer bolt action and they're all pretty even imo but my favourite is Krag-Jørgensen as I find that one slightly more accurate than the others. M2 Carbine is pretty good at close range however rarely use assault other than German faction when it's the stg44. For medic MP40 best German Type 100 best Japanese from longer range M3 Grease Gun best American from longer range and for British I use the mentioned welgun or jungle carbine is really good from long range. Totally agree with support Lewis gun is best overall but as I use faction specific guns I like fg 42 however not enough ammo type 11 for Japanese faction and finally not much choice for American but I use M1919A6 which is really good at long range with bursts but useless running around as need to use bipod to aim which is annoying but more realistic I guess. Agree with video though all good guns mentioned.

@@theshepard22 The clips are edited, and I’m sure that the majority of the times he actually healed his teammates. The clip at 7:16, at the end, you see him throw down a smoke grenade, and on the downed teammates too. As well if you look at his grenades at the bottom right of screen at the same clip, you see he has smoke grenades equipped.

Just started playing BF V again after one year and than this video shows up. Perfect timing. I just hope they change the way MPs/SMGs work in the upcoming BF. It is way too easy to outplay other guns even in mid or long range.

@@zeetack8625 The shotguns are extremely situational in BFV and BF1 (apart from the M30 Drilling's rifle round which gives it somehow some medium range application). They won't do jackshit from more than 15 meters and you'll only tickle your opponent outside of that range. Even slug rounds won't tip the balance that much because then you have to trade the quick hipfire for ADS-ing in order to achieve kills. The shotguns are intended to 1-shot kill enemies efficiently in the 10-15 meters range and THAT'S IT ! SMGs can work decent even at medium ranges, thing which almost never applies to shotguns. That is why this class is a high risk, high reward weapon type.

Support is so borked....when they removed suppression from MMG's, they destroyed the class. Also, Support should get grenades back from the ammo kit, not everyone, just the support player.

Nice choices..... but honestly its silly to go for the 'full auto' option over the 'hip fire' option on the trench carbine as u can shoot faster in semi auto & tap fire is more accurate too, but it also gives u better accuracy in hip fire when in cq combat

New or average players likely will perform better with full auto. Less mechanical requirements. The idea was to provide my choice and then an alternative for other playstyles or ability levels.

A alternative assault choice that I find to be insanely good for above average players is the Turner smle although I do have over 50 service stars on literally every SLR in Battlefield 1 so I'm pretty biased

Made the switch from warzone and cod , became happier during my play sessions and started enjoying myself

personally i love the k31/43, it's an awesome weapon at even shorter ranges cause you can toggle between iron sight and scope, and that reticle is lovely, the bullet drop is seamless because of it and as so easier to hit headshots.

Battlefield is about having fun in all out chaotic war let's not forget that

I am begging you to add timestamps for each section of your videos though, having to refer back to one I've already watched is a bit torturous since I'm skipping around trying to find the exact part of the video I'm looking for. Recoil in other games: YES Recoil in BF5: NO

Weapons I've found that need some serious recognition is the Model 8, the MP34 and the VGO, the Model 8 has a 2 shot capabilty and blends really well with a playstyle that encourages the sniper to keep moving while keeping a consistent close/medium range with his team, mix it with camo and you'll get some scarily good results, now with the MP34 I don't really know what it was but the moment I picked it up in its mediocre state where I left it i got the highest score on my team and was essentially a one man army/medical facility and with the VGO it's just a solid option when it comes to MMGs, it's a bit of an in between the MG34 and MG42 with a pretty high rate of fire but not too high where your screen looks like you're living in a tectonic plate during an earthquake

Turner smle and the m3 grease gun are cracked I got a 55 kill game w the turner and a 52 kill game w m3 grease gun.

If you want an alternative to the Lewis, take a look at it's replacement in the BREN. It's a textbook starter weapon, being easy to control, decent damage, and good fire rate. It only has 30 rounds at all time, but so does the StG. Play around the limited capacity by reloading between kill strings. If you want a fun play style to use, try to use the tactics used at the time. Set up behind a wall and use that bipod to hold a choke point. This play style works a lot better on tighter maps like Rotterdam or Underground, but it has good application on every map at some point, even Hamada.

Im suprised you didnt pick the seblaster for recon class. I find it absolutely lethal with its 2 shot kills at med range and impressive accuracy. Downside is long reload time.

Yo what's your visual/hdr settings on? It looks well clear compared to mine.

For medic I have been running the Trench Carbine, no it is not the best at damage at all, but being suppressed helps with detection, and you can usually get more shots down range to finish them. For Recon I have been running the Ross MKIII, it is my favorite out of them.

I love the Gewehr 95/30. I usually get around 50 kills per game with it. One of my favorite parts about it is just how satisfying it is to chain together 4-5 kills and you just keep hearing the kill sound and the skulls popping up. I’d like to see the skulls return for 2042, because in my opinion, bfv has the best sniping of any battlefield.

for me its: Assault: Sturmgewer 1-5 , Tuner Smile(or what is it called) , Gewer (that one u unlock earlier) Medic: Type 100, Zk , Suomi , Grease gun Support: Bar, Bren Gun, M30 Drilling Recon: Arasika , Krag , any pistol carabine (only in small maps like operation underground)

I prefer the m1a1 carbine but I guess I can give the stg a try thanks for the guide awesome video

I gotta say my go to for Scout/Recon will always be pathfinder and either the model 8 or RSC. That close range damage plus my generally aggressive playstyle fit well with both of those guns.

I personally go sniper, krag-jøgensen (with the 6x scope, quick aim, variable zoom, low drag rounds, and bipod), m1911 suppressed, frag grenade, spotting scope, and spawn beacon

Oh yeah because that’s totally something you should never ever do. Just only ever lie down and never ever engage while standing. God some people just criticise everything.

Now I didn’t say that did I? I’m just pointing out that it’s not optimal to scope fire an LMG while standing w/ no mounts. Of course you CAN do that, but yeah of course it’s gonna perform poorly compared to an STG or G43 in the same conditions as those are meant to be much lighter weapons. Some people just criticize everything

I use the sten, which is ok but gets me killed 24/7 since the damage is so low

The grease gun with the silencer attachment is amazing especially with the hip fire specialization.

For lmg I always use the bar 20 rounds but it hits like a truck and shoots super fast

I recently redownloded bf5 and damn it’s so good ! Always full loby and really enjoying it. I gave up on COD for always.
