How I went from TRASH to TOP 1% (EASY tips for YOU to get BETTER at Battlefield 5)

Ойындар

I used to suck at Battlefield... and COD... and Destiny... and Overwatch and well basically any other first person shooter. But I worked to find ways to improve and and reach a much greater level. And the truth is that a lot of what I've done to improve really isn't that difficult or complicated. Meaning a lot of you can do the same. So here are my tips to massively improve your performance in Battlefield 5 and potentially other shooting games as well. Some of these tips and tricks are purely for BF5 and others can be used for a wider array of games. Keep this stuff in mind and you might find yourself improving far beyond where you thought you could. I hope you enjoy :)

Battlefield V is a first-person shooter video game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. Battlefield V is the sixteenth installment in the Battlefield series. It was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 20, 2018. Those who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of the game were granted early access to the game on November 15, 2018,[2] and Origin Access Premium subscribers on PC received access to the game on November 9, 2018.[3] The game is based on World War II and is a thematic continuation of its World War I based precursor Battlefield 1.
Pre-release reception of the game was mixed, with the announcement trailer causing backlash from fans of the series for the degree of historical inaccuracy and the inclusion of female soldiers. Upon release, Battlefield V received generally favourable reviews from critics, being praised for its gameplay but criticized for its shortage of content at launch and lack of innovation. The game sold 7.3 million copies by the end of 2018 but was a commercial disappointment for Electronic Arts.

Enjoyed the video. So BF1 was your first BF? If so, same for me. I play medic cause I'm not too good but like to PTO &can infinite self heal and heal/revive team mates. I remember being revived for the first time in bf 1 and not having a clue what was happening since COD didn't have that mechanic. But I'd say I have gottenbsomewhat better at BF. Although while in the moment a lot of these can be forgotten. For me personally when I come across a group of enemies (3+) I panic and just shoot whoever I can. But the last tip is the most important. Since I stopped doing weapon assignments I haven't been nearly as frustrated with the game. The most recent one I completed was kill enemies 30+m away with the type 100 (proficiency). Litterally took me all day, but I did it. I only do proficiency assignments bc the final mastery ones are way too tough for me as I don't even try them & don't like the look of gold skins.

Ah... I started with BF1 too and I was awful at it for quite a while before some of these things clicked into place. I was fairly new to FPS too btw. Biggest game changer for me in BF1 was the random switching of directions and sliding to cross open ground to get to cover, especially with those sweet spot rifles. Stepped that up a notch in BFV with unpredictable movement around, over, under, and through obstacles. When it all works out I feel like a mountain goat! Great tips GGG, thanks! :)

I was really terrible in bf5, because i kept running like a chicken without a head. Often when i played the enemy would have cover and i won't. My favourite class to use is the medic, because you can heal your self in a gun fight.

i struggle with the last tipp to this day. If i start to do bad and get angry i will only do worse and i know that yet i just can’t help myself. i wanted to add to the point about picking your targets though. If you already started shooting at somebody and notice somebody is closer to you or just came around a corner DON‘T switch. It‘s better to finish one person off than hurting 2 people and killing neither of them. Even if the other guy is a medic and revives his buddy afterwards at least he is spending that time doing that instead of killing your team mates. Maybe they waste a smoke on that guy or they get killed while going for the revive. Every little helps but always finish on enemy before you go to another.

i will always sacrifice myself to give my team a window of opportunity, usually this takes form of me in a tank flanking and drawing the attention of the enemy while my team is trying to get the objective. did that last night on wake island as americans, we were bogged down trying to get the airfield, i flanked around and sat on the airstrip for a solid 5 minutes, just kept killing the planes as they spawned, and lobbed shells into the hanger building. i ended up dying because a cheeky pilot dropped his bombs as he ran into me and was immediately followed up by some rando with a lunge mine, but i drew enough attention from the defenders that my team was able to secure the zone.

Audio and visual, guys! Once playing on Aerodome, we had a masterful sniper camping somewhere on the airstrip among the clutter and nobody could take him out. I started prowling among the planes and debrish and found nothing. That was the moment when the squadmate of the sniper decided to spawn on him... and guess what? The characters greet eachother when you spawn on a friend... So suddenly an airplane was speaking the opposing team's language next to me.... something I want everyone to think about: the score system doesn't teach you how to play perfectly. it's somewhat of a guidance for new players but there are situations where the thing that gives you the most points is not the best thing you can do. best example for this is how you get more points when killing an enemy while in an objective area. Of course you should defend the area but you don't have to be in it to defend it. Often times it makes more sense to be in a position between two objectives to catch enemies off guard, delay their push or even take them out entirely before they even reach the flag. This will give no offensive or defensive bonus but helps your team a lot also, medics: use smoke grenades please. both, the launcher and the regular smoke grenades. no, only one of these is not enough

This is what aggrovates me about some assignments like "Kill 30 enemies whilt attacking/defending an objective"! Sometimes doing those assignments leads to counterintuitive actions or straight up faulty tactics which make me die more or are worse foe the team. I wish DICE reworked those to make them better for the team and less grindy/restrictive.

I like Rush but as a solo player it is an uphill battle to succeed, and if your opponents consist of full squads of “clan” labeled friends, well, just chalk up an automatic loss. An example- I loaded into a game that just started on Arras and was put on the offensive team. Unfortunately, my side didn’t remember what the object of Rush is for the attacker and I noticed a majority of my team mates were all standing back and sniping. We didn’t win.

Playing the objective with your squad, Utilizing your class specific jobs, and then killing off enemies in my opinion is how BF is supposed to be played, For example, Your with your squad heading to Flag B, everyone is trying to kill off people around and in the objective, a tank comes around the corner and starts blasting your squad, the medic should heal and revive those downed if he can, the Assault should focus on taking that tank out with backup from your team mates, your support should be giving cover fire and mowing down adds while the sniper might use a flare in the area so everyone can see where the enemy is and help by counter sniping and picking off who ever he can, A good squad where everyone knows how to play there roles really does help out a lot, Plus communicate over a headset if you can, This will let other know of something you see happening that they dont, You don't have to play this way but you should be working as a team,

I think the number one best tip in this video is to change your position. This is easily the most important thing to do if you play recon, but applies to anyone just trying to hold down a position or attack an enemy at range. There is nothing more free than seeing the sniper who just killed you sitting completely still while you wait to respawn. That is the freest real estate you can get.

Some great tips, here - but by far the funniest expression, was 'meat shield' - hahaha. I have found that it takes a little time and perseverance to get into your personal groove with fps games. Been playing since BF2 and without doubt, my performance improves over time and increasing familiarity with the maps (esp.) and weapons; as well as levelling up weapons and vehicles.

I play alot of different styles of games but i just recently started playing Battlefield 5. I have never really been into these type of games. In Warthunder, i am pretty good at tanks. In this game, wow, I am all thumbs. Compared to Warthunder, this game moves at a 1000 miles per hour. Plus my brain and hands haven't yet figured out how to communicate properly yet. I think I will have a great deal of fun once I work all these issues out and actually learn the game. At least I haven't been in last place yet. I land up in the middle to lower third. Thanks for the tips, although most of them were just common sense that I already utilize as a result of playing other types of games. Thanks

When I left in July 2019, the difference between my kills and deaths was about a 1000, in favour of kills so about 1.15 (or thereabouts), upon return I am having to relearn how to bloody play the game. A year with CoD MW has not helped, as they are so different. But I have got back to 0.9 in about three of four games. So I am hopeful it will cross over the 1 in the coming games, and then I will look at making tweaks around your advice. Good video. And relevant.

Know when your spotted cause it'll actually say it above your radar, the edges of which will turn orange in response. It may seem obvious to some but I figured that out the other day while sniping after 200+ hours of BFV :/ It's helped me avoid some really sticky situations since then, as well as keeping my head intact while challenging other snipers.

Don't give yourself the opportunity to be a meat shield - there's a sweet spot between camping and rushing. Find it and just keep moving around. Force yourself to aim more for headshots. Take note of where enemies tend to stack up and watch those areas from a safe distance. If you die, think about what you could've done to survive that situation. Most importantly, be patient. Rushing head on into an enemy hotspot will get you killed 99% of the time.

As a Valorant player, a lot of these concepts apply to that game too. For example, when you talk at 7:30 about letting the enemies run past you so that you kill them all from the back, that's something I already learned from Valorant, but in that game it's known as "trigger discipline", where you stop yourself from shooting for just a second, in case you create for yourself an even MORE advantageous situation. Extremely good Battlefield guide, I approve! Crazy that I'm already familiar with so many of these concepts.

The reality is that a lot of tips from most FPS games are transferable skills to other ones. Makes total sense. This video basically just wrapped them in to a Battlefield facing bundle. Thanks for taking the time to watch and I’m really pleased you enjoyed it. I will admit, this video was from a time where I enjoyed playing Battlefield far more. Burnout and… the current state of the franchise, can have a large impact on “fun factor”. Which totally flies in the face of my last tip, which I saw you referenced in another comment haha. But most people are playing the game FOR FUN rather than work anyway. So I’m an outlier. All that to say, thanks. And I’m pleased the guide still holds up. Have a great day.

If my max health would be around 80 I use my pouch regardless. One of the reasons, I have become such a good player in this build of BF I think

My tips for bf5 1. Watch some guides in bf like GGG for tips, Jackfrags for gun reviews, Westie and the Battlefield subreddit for news of updates for bf5 especially when they are changing the ttk and express your opinions to the community. 2. If you are trash at medic or support and don't know what to do at those classes, don't use them and play assault because you will constantly die because you don't know how to use them. 3. Use the guns wisely. Don't be that guy who uses the type 2a in hamada because you still think the 2a is still a god gun even though it got nerfed at the latest patch, and also don't be that guy who uses the panzerbushe in operation underground because you are so trash that you just camp in a corner. When the map rotation is about to start, think about the gameplay of that map like rotterdam is known for urban combat so you use AR's for mid range combat, or wake island is known for open range sandbox gameplay so you use bolt actions. So think about the gameplay of the specific map and use the right class for the right situation. 4. Lastly *IGNORE TRASH TALKERS* they will trash talk at you because you're a noob. I'm talking about the people who say "GiT gUD" all fhe time but they only say that because they want to fill your rage meter and have some entertainment while playing a casual match of pacific storm. So if yo u get killed by a level 200, SMUG platoon, union jacked, fully gold STG player that killed you for the 8th time. Just don't send hate messages and if someone message you that ur trash, ignore them or even block them. I hope these tips will help you get better on the game.

I do die a lot but it’s not to the point that it’s a factor in me not enjoying the game. A little common sense helps. Choosing your battles is extremely helpful.
