@@apoc7299 What do you mean "even the Garand would fit"? It was the main weapon of the US forces. Of course it fits. Springfield for Recon and Garand for Assualt. Just like Kar98k for Recon and G43 for Assualt.

I love the krag in my opinion. It can really hit the long range head shots and feels nice to me with the long range scope

I just wish DICE would either significantly reduce the glint on the 3x scope or take it out all together. It makes no sense that other classes can use a 3x and get no glint when (specially a bi-podded) LMGs basically turn into sniper rifles themselves. They super bright headlight but you can’t see them at all.

I feel like only 3x and 6x is kinda dumb for snipers. 4x scope should work better. On many maps I feel 3x is just a bit short and 6x is way too long.

@@CK-yv6nw Absolutely agree. In BF1 the scout class was my favourite by far. The Ross MK3, type 38 Arisaka and Martini Henry Infantry for ironsights, and m1903 for scoped. In BFV I feel like the assault DMRs are much more forgiving and effective overall. Look forward to the Ross in BFV though!

Zh-29 has a little bit more damage than the other Semi-snipers = Almost always 2hit kill, compared to the model 8 where you have to get 3 hits very often. And faster reload speed is king imo

All this sniper rifle talk and footage I've been watching recently.. got an itch to watch Enemy at the gates now.

Long ranged scope is 100% way to go nice video Jack always a pleasure.

Good call on switching up the specializations, with the Lee Enfield. That gun is good enough to utilize headshots with, that being said, its a faster performing gun with the right side path and its nice

Wish they could boost the damage back up to around 70 or 80 at close range. Because you know I'm going to be using iron sight on that lee Enfield and kar98k. Infantry all the way. Its a ww2 game and the Americans aint here yet. Take your bolt actions and get to the front.

My favorite Recon class weapon is the m95/30 bolt action sniper rifle with a long range scope attach .

Great video man, wouldnt know why throwing knife would be nerfed though, never got killed with it on console which is most likely harder than on pc. Myself i only got a few kills with it

Yes but it's a small glint for recon as as opposed to the strobe light that is the 6x scope

I whole heartedly agree with putting 6x/long range scopes on Bolt Action Snipers, even if going for medium to close quarter combat or sniping from a distance. I can't seem to make 3x or Iron Sights be as effective as 6x for the bolties

the zh29 is my favorite because it has a high enough damage that you only need two shots but it has the rate of fire to land them before your target gets away. though I would go with the higher rate of fire because it already has decent rate of fire. the krag also is one of my favorite ones to use. I like the RSC also because of its effectiveness at close to medium range.

Looks like a bug, the gun starts out in a sort of exploded state, with all the different animated bits being separated, and quickly snaps together as the gun is drawn. Looks just like the game was slow to reassemble a mesh, split apart to be saved from compression errors.

best way to use the model 8 is up close, PTFO, spawn beacon and iron sights. double taps make it a super low ttk

Love my model 8 - gold camo. - 2x scope Bec if you ran out ammo it will reload with a magazine, this gun is good for inside objectives, try it and you'll love it later.

It’d be fun if they did Heavy Rifles like medium machine guns where you need to bi-pod the rifle but it can a little vehicle damage and can 1shot chest close range like BF3

The Bayonet is fun and memey, but as a player that can't aim very well and knows how to ambush, i often get out of the battle With a sweet bayonet kill (mostly Recon)

I could almost feel every headshot u landed by myself. Sniping is reaaally satisfying in bfV Edit: the bayonette is really fun if you play aggresively :) just try it out

Jack will you be doing these videos for future weapons that release?

Krag really comes into its own at long range with the low drag rounds.

Sometimes whenever I eat M&Ms, I like to hold two M&Ms in between my fingers and squeeze as hard as I can until one M&M cracks, I eat the cracked one, and the one that didn't crack becomes the champion. Then I grab another M&M and force it to compete with the champion in this deadly game of M&M gladiators. I do this until I run out of M&Ms and when there is only one M&M left standing, I send a letter to M&Ms brand with the champion M&M in it with a note attached that reads: "please use this M&M for breeding purposes."

On the ZH-29 you have to take the detachable magazine on the right side if you want those fast reloads, otherwise it's self loading. I went on the right side because of that reason alone.
