    Hi. I balanced my zcam e2 s6 on the ring like you have it here and when I turn it on it's in pan mode and starts to nod violently. The other two modes work great though. My guess is in order to be able to just pan the back motor has to weaken its strength and so because the zcam is long the other motors can't handle the weight hence the nodding up and down. The cameras balanced so well I can turn it off and leave it in any position and it stays put. Am I wrong in this assessment? Thank you.

I'm looking for a cage gimbal so I can pair it with my armor man gimbal support system to eliminate the weight. Do you recommend this cage setup or do you know of another system that I can pair with my support system?

    I'd be interested in a comparison video of the performance between the FeiyuTech AK4500 and the DJI RS3 Pro gymbal stabilizers, including situations if both have their motors giving out under the same shooting conditions, and if the weight load the joints can handle on both stabilizers is the same or similar when they are used with heavier camera and lens combinations, approaching the weight limit of ten pounds or 4.5 kg. How do they perform with fast movements, circling shots and slight running?

    I have been using one of these for a while, generally it is awesome, best gimbal I've had (I had a Ronin-MX previously)...however...there is a serious lack of third party accessories so it can be difficult to get it how you like it, it struggles at funny angles (he mentions that in the video, when the motors give out) and setting up the ff system can be frustrating and yes, at slow speeds it does judder a little bit sometimes...but when it all works, it is fantastic haha

I was considering the Ronin SC but that one couldn't handle the weight of my camera gear, and the Ronin S doesn't have several of the benefits of the FeiyuTech Ak4500 such as the clever remote hyperlink, and there's no ring option for the Ronin's

BUT i dont think this is as smooth as it should be for being a gimbal. id love to replace my ronin-m + ring combo with this since its a nightmare to balance the 4k on it but from all the test footage ive seen the ak4500 is just way too bouncy and unsteady...

    When I first got it for the first couple days I felt the exact same. I’d say the biggest thing that helped was changing to “auto adapt” for the strength settings. Also changing to the proper mode for the right type of shot made a world of difference. Those two things made it just as smooth as at least any other gimbal I’ve used which includes my original Ronin-M and even the awesome Ronin 2.

    Hi there, I am owning this set up since three shoots and ran into some major issues regarding a slightly weird jitter. It is somehow impossible to fix whatever setting I tried... especially it shows with fast movements, circling shots and slight running. I am a experienced gimbal opetaror, owend and worked with several brands of gimbals since six years, so balancing should not be the issue... Maybe anyone here has any idea that might help...? Any own experiences? would appreciate any infos / troubleshooting experience.... Thanks !

I have yet to get my 6k and 18-35 sigma balance without the gimbal bugging out every time I power on. michael tobin thank you for the help. I was finally able to get it mounted. Just one last question for you. Could you let me know where you purchased the cables (also link if possible) that you’re using to connect your vmount battery plate to the camera. My vmount battery plated has a coiled wire and that definitely won’t work. So I need a wire set up like yours but can’t find the right wires. Thanks again.

    Many people have complained & showed when holding the rig in its normal configuration with the extended handle, that the handle actually could break off the arm, due to the handles thread into the arm. Your thoughts? I know your not using the arm handle with your rig, but it's seems like a concern. Also, have you compared its performance to the Crane 3 Lab? I'm considering either.

  • @initialfocus

    @initialfocus

    4 жыл бұрын

    I do wish they used a screw bigger than a 1/4 20. I’m no engineer so I have no idea what sort of weight load the joints could handle but besides any basic slow movement, yes I never would trust my entire camera rig to a single screw. I’m all about multiple strong points of contact

  • @initialfocus

    @initialfocus

    4 жыл бұрын

    Also yes I have used the lab 3. And just like I mention in the video it for me was quite tedious to get working with my pocket 6K. Some people have made it work but I much prefer the ring setup compared to the single handle design (so for me the extra accessory is crucial on the AK4500)

  • @waynosfotos

    The handle is fine if you mount it correctly. People have been putting it upside down and using the phone mount screw to attach it to the arm. This ring screw thread is not strong enough to hold the whole gimbal weight
