Thank you for the review. I like Feiyu gimbal brand too and especially for their service after sales that i cared a lot. The touch control screen is so easy to use that you can get rid of using the phones.

Are you limited on the focus/zoom motor? I have a 24 to 70 zoom on the AK2000s and I can only get mine from 24 to 28. Oh, I am so glad I found this video. I could not find any information on how to adjust the range of motion on the focus/ zoom motor. I am going to have to try that now. Your video deserves a like and I subscribed. I will try it out either today or tomorrow and hope it works out.

@@MaikKleinert Ah, I did not know that, but the motor is strong enough to move the zoom on mine. I just need to calibrate it for the full range of motion. I even thought of adding another motor to control the focus as well. I would add a total of three, but with the current camera and lens I have, the aperture adjustment is on the camera itself.

@@MaikKleinert you’re welcome for the feedback. Also thank you for mentioning that it is for meant for the focus. I plan on using it for the zoom if the gimbal allows me to with the slightly offset weight. However, I do not wish to damage my gimbal. Thank you for responding to my comment.

the reason of knowing feiyu is because vb2 that with build in extension bar,i had one and it very handy..nice brand

This gimbal also comes with axis lock which saves a lot of time when balancing the gimbal. Each axis can be locked while the other is be balanced. Also locking the axis prevents the gimbal from rotating or getting damaged when carrying in my camera bag.

Excellent tuto Maik! Well reviewed, superbely detailed and understandable. One question that remain unanswered to me: do you know what is the micro USB port on the right handside of the main body of the AK4500 (above the function button) is intended for? Thank you again Maik, super job!!

Thanks for your awesome feedback. The port it to also charge your gimbal batteries if you not have the charger. You can also update the firmware over this port. Hope I could help 😊

Great review! Where did you get the thumb screws to attach the underslung handle? I only got one hex screw out of the box and seems that's everyone's complaint.

Is it possible to take the camera off the gimbal, put it on a shoulder mount, but keep the follow focus device on the camera? (without the gimbal)

I know this video is super old, but I have a question! I did a firmware update on my AK4500 and now the tilt and pan speed is super slow. Do you know how this can be adjusted? Thanks!

I had to watch through all of it until the settings came up in the last few seconds. In fast forward, so that nothing could be seen. So this left a bad feeling.

Any ideas on hard-shelled cases for travel. Feiyutech seems to not provide an accessory case like the Ronin. I have the dual handgrip, gimbal essential kit that I would all like placed within the same case instead of having them separate.

I know it's a bit tricky because it's an older product, but you could found some on Amazon but not with the dual grip together. I always unmount it and put it in my big backpack with some soft pads on top.

Hi maybe you can help, I purchased the AK4500 a couple of weeks ago. I`m using my Sony FDR-AX53 Camcorder with the gimbal, it works great with my camcorder and very smooth. The only problem I have is, I had trouble trying to connect the remote to the gimbal, after playing around with it, it shows it`s connected but the remote won`t control the gimbal, just to ask if you can help me with this, or maybe i`m doing something wrong. You need to set the motor strength higher or lower via the app. I had the same problem

Is the unit working manual or does it move ? Maybe the follow focus is not working. Have you changed the cable?

@@MaikKleinert I'm able to program the route, but it doesn't automatically go back to the starting point afterwards. The knob (when set to focus) doesn't move the motor at all, but it works to control other functions. I've tried multiple cables, multiple usb slots.

I cannot change the motor strength in ak4500 the only option is available is Auto help!

You can do this only in the App. On the Gimbal you have only 3-4 setting. When I using the A7III + Sigma 14-24mm I need to boost the strength in the app otherwise I will have a lot of vibration from the gimbal.

you shouldn't need any cables to connect this to a sony. should be able to do it with blue tooth

the setup process is too fast to understand it.
